From what I read , Adams, is a more physical type player but would be happy with either one
-
I think that maybe a possible disagreement got blown out of proportion, so I do not think they want him to leave and this action proves that.
-
Vince Biegel, OLB, Wisconsin He had 4 sacks and 39.5 TFLs last year. That is pretty huge

http://bearswire.usatoday.com/2017/01/19/b...17-senior-bowl/ Here is the list of some players we get to get up close and personal.
-
They can not leave unless it is a better job, he is under contract.

first of all thanks for doing this I would love to take Allen here, but think Adams is going to be the playmaker we need and that will help the defense out more. I still think Bullard turns into a good player and C. Washington has been playing better at the end of the year. So I would draft a player like Isaac Rochell/DE/ from ND in the fourth round and roll with what we have. 6-3 and 290 with the same speed as Allen. If you keeping track, I was rooting for Allen but have changed my mind to Adams. I heard Matt Bowen on the SCORE and he made a lot of sense when talking about drafting Adams.
-
So if we end up drafting Jake Locker Cristian Ponder EJ Manuel Blaine Gabbert or Brandon Weeden then that is a good thing that we got them in the first round because we can lock them up for 5 years? That only matters if one of these guys turn into Jamie Winston or Marcus Mariotta and none are even close to being rated as high as those two.

I think we are closer than teams think of vying for a playoff spot. IF we can upgrade the LT spot. Grab a TE , resign Jeffery, and get a QB prospect that makes it a decent offense. On D we bring in a CB, FS, and a 5T and some luck with health and we have a very strong D. Our biggest problem besides health is playmakers, if we can get one at CB and FS, we could be on our way.
-
I dont think it matters how many QBs go in the first round, it is still reaching when you take him above his value. Teams do that because of the value of the position. If we grab a QB, i would be Okay with that, that would mean they think he is worth the risk. Not my preference thou. I think we should grab the BPA and then grab a prospect that they may be worth the risk at where they grab them. That doesn't mean it will be a legitimate target, but there are questions with all prospects at that position this year.
-
I think they will be okay with Massie so we can just get a later pick to develop. I would like to maybe see a LT in round 2 or 3. I would love to get Ryan Ramczyk but he wont last until the second round and not worthy of 3.
-
Garett or Allen, its a no brainier if either of them are there. If gone , I would take Adams/S.
-
Other than the second OT, which I would draft a TE, I would live that draft
-
Takkarist McKinley/OLB/UCLA Bucky Hodges /TE/Vig Tec Forest Lamp/OT/Western Kentucky Gareon Conley /CB/Ohio State Samaje Perine /RB/Okla Chidobe Awuzie/CB/Colo Cooper Kupp/WR/E. Wash These actually are all top 100 players, but was just looking at names more than positions
-
I didnt like the idea at first, but if he becomes a playmaker and all pro S, does it really matter where you took him? Anybody that could be an all pro type player, I would have no problem with at 3. It is different than it use to be when you drafted high and they handed out huge contracts. Now it is all doable contracts at the top.
-
I may at worded it wrong but the point was we are strong up the middle with our two ILBers, and with the new additions. Not that we needed to address that position. I neither have drafted or picked up a FA in the middle
-
Its just one of many things they look at, it is not at the top of the list for evaluating just on a list of things to look at.
-
I just listen to Matt Bowen on the score, and he suggested get Eric Berry then draft J. Adams at 3. That would take away the center of the defense and give your team a toughness that is hard to find. Berry is a major leader for a dedense, add in two excellent ILBs and you got a stud defense going to forward. With that in mind: pick up Berry/FS Johnson/CB K. Short/DE the same group I have been pushing then draft 1) Adams/SS 2) Bolles/LT figuring Robinson and Ramysck both gone 3) Legget/TE 4) Kevin King/CB 4) Copper Rush/QB from Western Michigan 5) Phillips/ edge rusher from Illinois 7) Kenny Golladay/WR

That is a bad idea. Jimmy have been very productive when he has played , his problem is he hasnt played much. Schaub? Might as well make the transition with Hoyer. You saying he is worth getting since he is cheap? Bad idea. We have money, so if we pay to keep Cutler that would be a better idea than Schaub. I would like going after Jimmy G. , yes he will cost, but using a #3 pick to take a QB prospect rated as a possible 2nd round pick is expensive too. I think if we can get Jimmy G with a 2nd and a fourth, that is our best value. We can still get a stud at 3, and in the third and fourth round grab CB and S prospect that are both deep this year.
-
We need two S's. We have some CB upside but not at S. Amos as prove to be a 3rd S on a team. Otherwise there is a lot of maybes. So we need to draft two safeties or one in draft and one in FAgency.

You make some valid points, but Bellick does not always do the right thing. Chandler got trade to AZ and is considered one of the best edge rushers in the league. Ask yourself, they have the money? He is a blue chip player at probably the second most important position on the team. He traded for Shea McCelin and her is his stat line 14 4 41 16 25 1 - 0 - - - - - 0 1 He let Vince Wolfork go that is still playing at a high level So he does not always make the best decisions. I think he figures Brady plays 3 more years, he would have to pay JG for two years at a higher level. Belihck has a big ego, lets that get in the way sometimes. He may value Brissett higher but that does not mean JG is a bad player. Just because he wants to trade JG doesnt mean the top 3 QBs are better players. The point Im trying to make is, this would be a risky trade but so would drafting a QB at 3 that all have 2nd or 3rd round grades. They are elevated higher because of the importance of the position now there talent. WE can still a blue chip player at 3, trade a 2nd they we may use for o Qb with less upside and then only love the value of a 4th in taking the risk. I have heard from several scouts that if JG was coming out this year he would be the top rated QB. Anybody we bring in has risk, no sure things im FAgency or the draft. So why not take someone that could produce right now instead of waiting 3 years for them to develop. The pressure will be on Pace and Fox to be alot better this year and a NFL Qb would be farther along in his development. Here is JGs stat line in 2016 before he got hurt 43 63 502 8 4 0 four TDS and no interceptions.

Yes of course there is risk, its a crap shoot, but there is risk to take a college QB at 3. I think if we can get Jimmy G for a 2nd round pick it lessens the risk. He has more tape than the other choices, so its just putting yourself in the best position to be right. With him, you should get instant results, with a high drafted QB that could take 3 years to put him in the position where G is right now. Might as well roll the dice, instead of wait three years and find out it was crap. With a 2nd rounder at least you can still get an impact in the first round. With a draftee there, you waste both the first and waste your QB.
-
Jefferson is a better player than Amos is right now, but maybe two years from now that changes. I think they are high on Deon Bush at SS and will end up being a better player than Amos.
-
Jefferson would be a good ad, but we need a playmaking FS as a priority. Gilmore is a great add, but Esocbar, an underachever in a TE drat, dont see that happening. I think we add a FS and CB in FAgency and still draft both positions. Pace will go after someone still young and ascending .I think we go hard after Berry, the only others worth trying to get are Jefferson and Cyprien. I think we add a DT to play the 5T position, Short, or Poe/KC
-
Why would they trade lynch? they brought in coaches to help develop him. McCoy and Musgrave.
-
thats out of the box and would have no problem with Adams at 3 and Kizer at 18 but I dont think all three QBs make it out of the top 15-----------Cleveland with two picks, SF,Jets, Az,Buf
