Do you ever notice, most of your posts are negative responds to anything. Life was meant to be enjoyed , lighten up.

I am the biggest contributor of explicit avatars and have no problem not doing it. I view this as a group of adults and no longer have small children never even gave it a thought. For all the years I have been on here, I have never had anybody complain but many say positive opinions. I apologize for not being user friendly, this is the first I notice your thread and would have pulled it the first time anybody complained. Im not a bonehead, just past the young children years in my life. When my grandchildren visit, I am to busy spending time with them to think about being on here at the same time.

So far there as been only one successful runner type QB, Newton, some like Rodgers and Wilson can run but QBs that get hurt a lot so we dont want to encourage that in the NFL for a franchise QB.
-
There are lots of points we can bring up, of coulda, shoulda , but lets work on what is possible today.

After this year Crabtree has no guaranteed money left. They part ways with him and they have 9 million and with trading those 3 player would gain another 3 mil.,maybe they have to trade Crabtree in the deal.

I heard that Goldman could be out 4 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
-
Your silly, Cutler is much better than Gabbert

totally agree, Fox has did a good job every where he went, he may not take us to a SB but he will build the roster with players and have good coaches around him. I do not think he is a good gameday coach but that is what Gase did well. We need to give loggins some time to see what he can do. He was with us last year and I am sure he learned some stuff from Fox and Gase, we need to give him time.
-
NO no no 1---Loggains has to grow to. Lets go by history, McCoy worked under Fox and became a hc, Gase worked under Fox became a hc. There initial careers were spotty. Let Loggins show us what he is, two games does not prove or disprove his ability. The key to solid franchises is stability so we need to give this more time. 2---Paces firt draft choice got hurt, he couldnt do anything about that and so far we have two games into Whites progress. need more time Floyd is a work in progress, we just need more time. How would you like to have drafted Clowney or Greg Robinson in 2014? there are just not starting to shine 2015-Donte Fowler was hurt his first year and the jury is still out. 2016-Goff hasnt seen the field yet with a bad QB leading there team, Bosa is just now getting playing time. ITS TO EARLY TO FORM A HONEST ASSESSMENT 3 Fox is a proven winner, he came here with one of the worst rosters in the league, he needs time to change that. Toub has no history to just turn over a team to him.Bad idea 4 Gould is gone, we will go with a lousy K until we get a young new one. 5. Cutler is the best option we have and until we get a replacement , he will be our QB.
-
The problem is there is not many QBs out there to actually obtain so we have to go with a young guy. If we wait for the draft then we go though the growing pains and it pushes our schedule one year later. I do not think we resign Jeffery long term, and a cap hit next year on tagging him will be to large, so we just lose him. Yes it is a great risk on a QB on with very little tape but we will go through next year in the same position. What this will do is give me some hope that we have a QB of the future now instead of waiting one year and give him one year of time to learn while playing in the NFL. The two players are just younger depth types but ones we can use with our depth right now.

To be honest, it is hard for me to figure our your sense of humor and whether its funny or not, so i just take what ever you say as legit. I will try to be more, aware of that great sense of humor.

I still think they will get more than 3 wins, but you are right about it doesnt look good.
-
Those two high picks should be stars out of the block but most the time that doesnt happen. We seriously have to give it 3 years from when they were picked to evaluate as hard as that is. I think White will show better later in the year, and I think unfortuately Floyd is going to take a couple of years to grow as a NFL player.

I have a thought for a trade and why they would do it. We liked Connor Cook and after a potenial dismal year Jeffery wont want to stay here. So we trade Ashton Jeffery and Logan Paulson to Oakland for : Connor Cook/R someone we liked Seth Roberts (32-480-5) in 2014 25 Mychal Rivera (clearly the #2 since they drafted Walford) 26 Roberts is just another WR but can take Ashtons place on the roster Cook and get valuable playing time while Jay is hurt Rivera is a clear better #2 than any we have. WHY OAKLAND WOULD DO IT: The prospects of teaming Jeffery and Cooper would be huge They still have Matt McGloin who is least a decent backup. Wilford is the young starter. WHY We get our QB of the future A couple of younger prospects that at least can be decent backups. As much as he hasnt shown it yet, our future as WR is going to be Kevin White After another bad year, Ashton is not going to sign and we are not going to tag him again at a huge price. This aint our year and at least we get a QB prospect and high draft picks to continue to build the roster. Del Rio and Fox are friends and may help get the trade done. Because I am a big dreamer.
-
Not sure of QBs but taking a stud with a low pick is essential but it the QB prospects are not good enough for a early pick, we need a prospect at 2 or 3 that we can live with. If we go by this year, Wentz seem like a good prospect and Goff does not. Preskott may be good, at least it is a good QB for the future. So there are ways to get QBs, I heard we like Connor Cook, I wonder if we can do a late draft pick trade to get him next year. Oakland has Carr, maybe we can swing a deal there.

Are you shittin me? Hoyer leads us to the playoffs? Jay is only a part of the problem. He is an average QB that is getting beat up and not is back to his bad habits. There are a lot of bad QBing going on in the NFL right now. We look to him to be a savior and he is not. He is a QB that would be ok if the rest of the team is good, but he will never get us to the promise land on his back.

I try to find reasons to be optimistic, but last night was a big slap in the face. I hate to say it but the offense seems like it a boat adrift on the water with no paddles. They have no identity. What are they trying to do? It is not a running team. They are predictable and do not seem to be able to adjust to the flow of the game. The offensive line is a mess, therefore Jay is getting beat up and now is back to is old habits of bad mechanics and bad turnovers. The only bright spots on the whole team are the play of the two middle LBers. They are totally into the game, but the rest of the defense is a mess. They invested in the OL and the front seven and they have both been failures so far. Two games does not make a season, but is sure does not look good so far. I think in a few games the OL with fine some continuity and maybe when McPhee gets back, some pressure. ( if he ever gets to play). I thought they were a 7-9 or 8-8 team this year so this is all not a surprise but now lets just play the young guys, get a high pick and draft a frecking QB and go forward with the rebuild. We need to remember this team drafted terrible for many years and you do not change that overnight. The core of the team show be the drafts from 3 to 5 years ago, and Jeffery is the only good player from that era. So play the young guys, get a high draft pick, find a QB prospect and next year, things will look better going forward. Plus side: the two middle LBers Hall seems to be a player White seems to be starting to get it. Also we would probably be a better team with BM,MB, and MF on it but our future was be a year or two away from being gone. We didnt win anything with them on it, so I am buying in on remaking the roster, and next year should show better signs of who we are.(it aint right now)

That figures , you started it.
-
Howard will be our lead back by mid season, like you said, Langford will be the change of pace back.
-
Forte is still a good player, but 3.3 is a telling statistic. It is a 16 game season and he wont be playing all the games because of his age. He will have a good first half of the season then will be dinged up. Then the downhill slide begins. I wish him well, be he isnt a juggernaut anymore. Grizzly's live longer than NFL rbs, thats a fact of life .
-
I explain it by the fact, obviously the brass doesnt agree with you. Look he is an average QB,I would say around 15 to 20 range, but serviceable. When we get the opportunity for change they will jump on the chance, just hasnt happened yet.
-
they played so well we might as well both become Jets fans. I hope Matt well, but he wont make the season fully healthy. Good teams get rid of players one year before not one year after. We have a new agenda-getting younger, we had BM and MF and MB and we didnt win anything so its time to try something different.
-
The third best D in the league last year came to play in the second half, and once they took the lead, they unloaded on them.
-
he needs to step up in the pocket, the Ots are getting killed , there is space up front.

We have a long ways to go, some good some bad, it will be this way all year.
