  1. There is nothing wrong with having club dub, you only do it when you win and it brings people together. Also I don't think having your players like you or dislike like you affects your authority in a sports room. Its being consistent with holding people accountable and treating everyone the same. With 53 bodies in the room , they respond to different thi gs. Good players will motivate themselves and some are just lazy and need to be pushed. I think Cohen not having a good year was not all on him. Play calling and a bad offense contributed to a poor yr. You have to him going forward not sideways.

If Miller has his head on straight he could be an excellent weapon, the injury is a minor thing. I hope he figures it out. We have the makings of a competent passing offense, if Foles is up to the task .
  3. I actually think one day MT will be a Ryan Tannahill type of QB but not with this coach. Good coaches adapt to their players. This year will define Nagy. As someone stated, if he went to SF or Baltimore, he would be in a better situation to succeed. I only care that we contend for a SB, I don't care how Pace does it.
  4. Unfortunately death is a part of life. I hope he didn't suffer.
  5. I think it was a combination of Nagy pushing his complete offense on MT, lack of throwing time, ( bad OL) no running game to take pressure off, and MT losing his confidence. If I remember didn't we led the league in dropped balls by our WR Corp? Nagy didn't play to his strengths. Also wasn't he wearing a harness the whole year after the injury? Tight games, because our defense didn't get many TOs last yr that put more pressure on him. He is not the guy that will carry an offense on his back during poor performances.
  6. AZ , I think it's a prove it yr for Foles because he has only had one very good season as a starter. Now he has preformed well coming off the bench on the biggest stage but still some questions about can he do that for the full. Obviously MT falls in that category but I don't think he starts.
  7. I'm not assessing his value, I'm saying to keep him involved. Hill averages 3 plays a game. Just more in the trick bag for Nagy. I don't think he's going anywhere this year. He may still start but I doubt it. As a backup, if he had to play a few games, dunb down the offense and put him in. Learning behind Foles can't be a bad thing.
  8. Most of these guys are young players and the club dub is like a college atmosphere for them. I have no problem with it and if the players like it , its good for moral.
  9. A few things I think will happen: I think they use MT as a player like Hill in NO. Giving him a limited few touches a game. ( I'f he doesn't start ) I think Patterson get 80 to 100 carries as a RB this year. That is one reason we didn't add a RB in free agency. Kmet gets more rec. than Graham. I think teams will focus coverage on Graham ( in 2 TEs sets giving more chances for Kmet to make plays.
  10. If we were going to sign him , it would have happened right away. We made an offer to him and he didn't take it. Someone is going to pay him.
  11. They may limit fans at first but no way they don't play this year . I think worst case scenario, no fans until October. I'm in Thailand hoping I get home in June , they're now playing baseball in south Korea and Taiwan. If those countries can figure out a way to play sports, USA will to.
  12. I don't think anyone here has overrated him, I think that the Bears have overrated him thinking he's a competent starting LT. At his best year. 2018, he was just average. They needed to sign some one to compete enough to take his job away. I see potential for every position to be better but Leno.
  13. I'd be real happy if Kmet gets over 500 yds this yr.
  14. Jacob infante had this on his Twitter account. Most overrated: leno Most underrated: Whitehair 2nd Best player:( Mack would be everyone's answer. ) ARob Best new addition( draft): Johnson Best new addition( FA) Quinn Could surprise: Gibson Takes a leap: Smith Prove it year: Foles Most disappointing: Graham All pros: Mack-Smith- EJac- Fuller Komet stats: 36- 425- 4- TDS First game for fans : the regular season start SO WHAT SAY YOU These are my choices
  15. He wants 7 a yr and multiple years. Don't think the bears can do that. I think they like IFEDI enough to produce at guard to not sign anyone else.
  16. I agree last year was a trainwreck, I think he got stubborn and forgot the run game. I think he is smart ( 2018 play calling) and will make neccessary changes. He's in a learning process also. The first year he made it simplier for MT went to the run game the last half of the season. I think the best thing he could do is give up play calling and be just a head coach.
  17. I think I seen where Nagy stated that they were staying put. They changed them last because of Cowards newness. They wanted a vet next to Coward to help his placement. This yr there will be a new body there so they will deal with it the same way. Another thing was Daniels was having problems making line calls. A few yrs in this alignment probably means that won't change going forward. If your good, I don't see where it makes much difference. They both have flexibility for both positions. If IFEDI ends up being better than at OT we could have our IOL set for a few yrs, then Coward can go back to RT backup, Spriggs at LT and Bars flexible to play all the spots.
  18. Just read on Twitter that we have cut off talks with Warford, I suspect to much money.
  19. I think Nagy is smart and if he wouldn't have been stubborn with the run game last year, we would have had more wins. As much as new personnel will help, I think Nagys play calling will be huge to have a winning team this year.
  20. How do I delete the other post? It popped up twice .
  21. You can always pray Leno gets hurt. If that happens I actually think Bars gets the first shot. Unless Spriggs turns his career around, he is only worthy of a backup role.
  22. The saints just cut pro bowl guard Larry Warford. He was making 7 mil a year. IFEDI is here on a 1 yr deal so he definitely an upgrade. Let IFEDI battle for RG or you can have him be the swing OT. You probably get Larry for 1 yr 4 mil? I also read the bears are talking to him.

That seems like a reach but you figure opposing teams are going to test him and with a badass pass rush, he will get many chances to make big plays. Also Gibson has good ball skills, he may be in for TOs. Also. They will scheme away from Fuller and EJAC. Both ILBs can cover , so it's going to be interesting how they attack us. We're going to be able to rush with 4 and underneath passing lanes are going to be clogged up .
  24. There have been many below 6' that have been successful but usually weight over 200 consistantly. . The SS average is probably 6' 205.
  25. I think the perspective of getting Gibson has to do with what we paid him. A decent player that we got at our price.
