Just noticed we sighed DL John Jerkins. I think we had him around before. Probably better than A. Anderson. Or at least more competition.

I read a story about him and I think he was an Olympic weight lifter and played Rugby. Strong and smart. He got into football in 2016 and all he did in South Africa was watch games and video tape about football. If any UDFAs make it he's the one. Yale isn't bigtime football but he dominated at that level. He is ahead of the curb because of his strength. Most rookies have to get stronger, he is already there. He says the most important thing about football is to study tape. I wouldn't doubt he makes the PS this yr and he's on a fast track.

Right now they have around 12 mil in cap space and half of that going to the draft. So we have enough to sign 2 more 2nd tier players. I say a S and RB.

I have seen a couple draft sites compare Kmet to Jason Witten. I think he ends up being a force in the red zone . He may produce more than most rookie TEs just because he is important in Nagys offense. Philly run the double TE scheme more than any other team in the league. I see it helping our running game more not because of Graham and Kmets blocking but how it forces the defense to adjust our of their 8 in the box scheme.

So do they think Bush can get the job done. We will find out by whether they sign another S. There has to be a HaHa deal out there, to many Ss still left in FA. I say bring in another one and let them compete. Has to be a 1 year 3 mil deal out there. Actually anyone cut from a team doesn't count either just UFAs. If I was in the NFL right now having a job would be better than just holding out for money. lots of players take cheap one year deals just to make sure they have a job.3 to 4 mil sounds good to me.

Soon to be : Montgomery, Daniels, Miller, Kmet, Johnson, . I think the arrow is pointing up.

I think his contribution will be minimal as far as rec and yards but his speed adds a strategy dimension that affects how our other weapons perform. The defense has to account from him on the field. Forces 1 on 1 play and the FS to stay home longer. If you throw to him 4 times a game, we win other matchups and he may snag a few.

I read Pagano really likes Bush. With EJAC and HAHA in front of him, not much playing time. We always dismiss people getting better already on the roster. The only way you know is to let them play. On saying that we still need to add a S. Kwit was a okay backup until last year. Not he is a NFL starter. ( probably) . We look at a 4th round coming in and contributing but dismiss a 4th round pick that maybe took longer to develop.

I would say they sign a few more UDFAs and then look for a vet S. I prefer Eric Reid but there are several good ones out there. Also Clayton Geathers has ties to Pagano when he was in Indy. Every year it's hard to cover all your weaknesses you have. They did bring back bring Bush and brought in the KC guy but still needs to bring one more vet in. Also they brought in 2 OLs but that's probably not enough. So 1 more OL and S and I think we're ready to go.
