  1. when I go to Yahoo, cant find the info, I thought I did the invite, but cant locate anything
  2. Ya we never measured up to those twos high standards. I actually like all the chaotic banter once in awhile, makes life interesting.
  3. What if Briggs ends up sucking? What do you think then?
  4. Thanks for putting that up.
  5. I didnt hear the whole interview, so you have an advantage. I guess to me it sounds like he was making a shot at the Bears with the Green Bay comment, but it could be taken out of context.
  6. As far as I have read, he is not completely over his injury from last year. It might have detoured his work outs and will have to get into shape during training camp.
  7. If retired, he will receive 1.127 off of his bonus money. we should only consider him if the people we brought in fail. There is only so much time to see what our QB prospects can do and a vet like Orton will only be brought in if they fail. Is he better? if he wants to retire from football, no one will ever no.
  8. Just noticed this, must just be a camp body. I thought we had depth? Must not like the back of the depth chart for OL.
  9. It remains to be seen how it all turns out, kinda one of the interesting battles going on this camp. Other than Briggs its all a question to the effectiveness. Coaches being positive about an unproven commodity it better than a bunch of negativity around the position.
  10. It will be true, the actual experience with probably be quite lacking, but I always like to say (I did that). It"s like going to a real game, there is energy and excitement but it is a easier experience watching on the tube, and cheaper. I had season tickets to the Bears for two years back when Sweetness was around and had a lot of great memories but it was a hassle every gameday treking from Rockford to the game in the cold weather. Wouldnt change that memory but it was better suited for a young man than at my tender age of 61. Really would just like to say I did that once. How nice would that be waiting around for the last pick in the first round with some of you Bear fans, I may never meet again.
  11. Probably not that player anymore but if he is 80% of what he use to be is probably better than anyone on the roster at S at this moment in time.
  12. The great Brian Urlacher was on the Score yesterday. In an interview, he was talking about how good the Packers are going to be with the addition of Julius Peppers. With all the years of being paid well from the Bears and all the catering they did to him,he keeps taking shots at them because of the failed last contract. As far as Im concerned he's quite a jerk with sour grapes attitude he carries.
  13. I think I put my name down for both, but I have to be a commissioner in one of my leagues, so I will decline the #2 non money league. so if the commissioner will note that for #2 for me.
  14. which one is the money league? 2?
  15. I started this heading thinking we already had it given, but I obviously screwed something up, It looks like we MIGHT get it.
  16. Its going to be Lamar Houston, given the players Emery put around him, he will flourish.
  17. Why do you always have to be a pud wack? You throw your little brainless comments in the mainstream every once in a while and then after you get shit started you , you act like the innocent little bitch. . With everybody I have budded heads with on here, they all turned out to be cool. You never have elevated past the the moron status, I guess some people dont have the intellect to do that, Im just asking to much from you.
  18. I graduated high school the year you were born, so you havent been a Bears fan longer than me. I am not foolish enough to think your not a Bears fan, its called jacking to get a reaction and I did. Dont really care what your second , third, and 4th choice of (favorite teams). I will remember the next time how great of a Bears fan you are, when your cutting down Cutler, praising McCown. High fiving Lovie and trying to find fault in Trestman.
  19. That all sounds good. At the end of the year when I bring this back up, dont be upset when I rub it in your face. As far as TB goes, I think Lovie is a good coach, but will take him a few years to get the act together. The problem with McCown is the only good stint he has had in the league is when he was with Trestman, and T wont be in Tampa with him. Cutler is a better QB and one partial year does not make a career. I wish him well but it will not be as easy as last year was for him. So will you be changing your handle to (Alaskan Buccaneer)? I am a Bear fan first and foremost, Lovies gone so now Im on the Trestman bandwagon. Get your loyalties straight and start supporting players and coaches that are here instead of living in the past.
  20. I am probably one of those idiots we watch on TV and acts like a drunken fool; but Im ok with that. I will probably be there.
  21. When you visiting your birth sake? We should have a beer
  22. I think that is pretty accurate, but more teams will be closer to 8-8 on some of those projections. I agree with you on those teams being better than that. I see a couple of teams having very good records and a few real bad, but the rest will be floating around 500%. I dont see the Colts being in the SB either.
  23. What ever you wish to bet, Im all in, we all have our opinions, when I am wrong, I have no problem admitting it, unlike some people on here. Name your poison and Im in.They will not have one of the top 5 records in the NFC?
  24. Every thing you said makes sense, but the TB thing is quite a joke. They will have a winning record, but wont be one of the top 5 teams in the NFC. Quit drinking that Lovie cool aid, starting to make any good comments you make be questioned.
