The #1 thing Trestman will look at is accuracy and decision making, he doesnt fit that.
-
We all can be hopeful, Hesters gone, and not viable anymore, so lets get behind the next guy in line, Im all in.
-
Been watching Kyle Fuller, and that kid can play. Obviously videos are put together to show the good aspects of a player, but he definitely stands out.
-
If a rookie comes in and doesnt get much playing time, how is he going to be getting a good contract 4 years later?
-
Was watching my two favorite players Pryor and Donald, Pryor isnt perfect at S but he sure is an aggressive guy, not as good, but reminds me of Troy P. Also just noticed, Donald gets manhandled in the run game, but can sure go after QBs. I am starting to think, he may be to small to be an every down DT. More of a rotational pass rusher, but does that very well.

Found a website that just shows flim of to be drafted players. I was watching Pryor against FCU and Storm Johnson looked real good. Check out some players, Im painting my kitchen and it bores me so I found this site. http://draftbreakdown.com/video

Its not that they are a waste, but with Williams, Briggs being gone next year, and who knows about SMC, we need some more bodied with potenial to man those spots.
-
Thats going for the extra yard there, I love to dream and that site helps achieve that goal.
-
Williams and Briggs arent spring chickens and Bostic will be playing Briggs spot sometime this year and in the future. So I think we need another body at MLB
-
He does lead with the head alot but Im sure anybody drafting him will address that.
-
That would be sweet, but me think Donald will be gone. Other teams in the league has to see the (John Randle) in him.
-
I dont get it? We need to just have a gunner on ST? We need the roste spot for better players.
-
Everything has changed. Taco Johns all left and in the last 5 years there are new ones around. When were you around the hood? HaHa will be a good player, but if I had the choice I would take Pryor, I want my defense to intimidate.

There are a lot of things to like about that draft. Our inherent difference is would be .... Although Jones in the 3rd would be a steal, I still think we will address MLB in 3rd or 4th round AND...because Donald is such a great prospect,I think he will be gone. I think we trade down and grab some extra picks. Towards the bottom of the first round our options wll be Pryor(hopeful but probably not likely) Ward comes into play down there. Fuller/CB comes in to play down there. Truitt/DT/DE could easily be our pick. And down there is some of those names are gone, Mosely could come up if left on board. Havent did FanSpeak for a while so heres mine:THIS IS WHAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN trade with SF(Gilbert is on board) so they trade for 14th pick ----30TH-2nd round,3rd round 7 th round 1st----Truitt/DT/DE-he is athletic-big-quick-versatile- big upside 2nd-a-Bucannon/S- best safety on board - will start his first year 2nd-b-P. Gaines/CB-the more I read about him the more I like him -6'-4.38 speed-4 ints senior year 3rd-a-Carlos Hyde/RB- a capable backup with future #1 status 3rd-b-CJ Fiedorowicz/TE- a capable #2 TE 4th----Smallwood/MLB-Athletic-ties to Paul P.-productive player 5th----Coleman/DT- a NT prospect 6th-a--Savage/QB- a prospect to nurture 6th-b--Huff/S/CB--a productive, fast prospect this is how it played out, I covered all our needs with the extra picks.

I like your second draft the best because of the names, Truitt would be hard to pass up if there in the second. I believe if we trade back, he could be a target. It is hard to say how realistic these would be, but they are simply fun. I think Truitt and Donald would end up playing the same position with Truitt being able to move outside, but we have 3 good players there now and dont see that happening.
-
There is a reason speed is so well liked because it separates the average from the plums. There are exceptions to every rule but it matters.
-
Unless someone has an injury history, I dont really think you can draft players with the thought,(will he get hurt because he is a physical player?) You just never know on how a player will turn out. That's why GMs change jobs so often, the good ones arent right all the time, and the bad ones wreck teams for 4 years because they draft like JA.

To late for that now, will do something constructive while listening to our draft picks on the SCORE(works for me)

SB Nations latest draft is more to my liking. It addresses all our defense needs and adds some O prospects I think we need. Notes: I think Pryor will be a star in the NFL and after the first 3 S prospects, it may be deep but many wont be able to start first year. We need our draft pick to start so S in the first is a good call. I think Donald is the best prospect at a need position but I suspect he will be gone, so we grab a rotational player in the second round that will have to add stength but has great upside. We need younger CBs and after reading more about this CB, it seems like a good fit. He doesnt have to start his first year so he has time to develop. I definitely think we add a MLB prospect, and Smallwood played for Paul P. one of our new coaches. A connection the rest of the draft addresses backups we definitely need. http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2014/4/10...n=articlebottom

I agree with the RB as a necessary. We have to anticipate some injury to someone important. We got by with Cutler gone last year, but without ample backups at QB again and RB we could easily get derailed with a big injury. The defense sucked and I suspect it will be a lot better, still have holes to plug but you cant always get everything fixed in one season. So the draft will bring maybe 3 that will help this year on defense but we have acutually 3 spots on offense yet to fill, RB,QB and TE and it all matters for us to take the next step.

He's my favorite S, and would be happy with him being our first choice.
-
Is this TT or Jason? Several hate words in the post. not my favorite mock draft
-
The problem is with any side of the argument is Wolfe wasnt any good, so it doesnt matter.
-
He will be a top40 pick, and the draft might be deep at CB, but the studs will go early.

The third game is usually the rehearsal dinner.
