He is competing for the SLB job but with news of Briggs still not recovered from shoulder injury, he may be playing WLB out of the block.
-
they talked about it on the score, and there was something on comcast
-
If they traded down, I dont see any extra picks and we have two 6th round picks this year. I also would have no problem if we ended up getting C.J. Mosely. I think he will be a stud.
-
The only way he sees MLB again is by injuries. He will move outside this year and next year be slotted in Briggs place when he is gone. To be rated that high on pass defense rating and be that bad in run defense, that shows you how statistics can cloud how good someone is , he is a long way away.

I think Emery will see it that way, Im all in on Donald or one of the safeties. Our line is Houston-Ratliff-Paea-Allen with Idonije,Young. Collins, and the rest of the DEs we have. Houston will see snaps inside as well as Idonije. I am stating BPA with the first round pick. If we pass on Donald, I think we may have a idea to pick Quarles,Jones,Johnson,Hageman,Ferguson, Bromley, and Reid at a latter round. Safeties after the first round will be possibly Ward,Bucannon,Bailey,Brooks, and Exum. I think if he decides that there is a stud there any position other than QB and RB, he could possibly take him. OT-If one of the top 3 drop he would have to consider taking one. Mills was considered as performed well for a 5th round pick, but the truth is he was very good. WR-After thinking about if more the only way we would take one in the first round is if Watkins dropped and that is highly unlikely. TE-If Emery thinks Ebron is the second coming of J. Graham, I totally think he could take him. DE-I dont see anyway we go that direction unless Clownery drops. DT-As I stated I think the top 2 are still in play, but there is also 2nd and 3rd day options. LB- Briggs is in his last year,Williams is a one and done. We are grooming Bostic to take Lances place, so the middle is still a big need. CB-Everybody is old. S- Stongly believe this is the leader in our first option but there is options in the first and second rounds.

Actually that is nit picking.

With Allen coming here we are now in play for drafting BPA. That could be many different positions to go for. Donald and Jerrigan are still in play. We have a 32 year old Ratliff as our best DT, enough said. Gilbert comes in to play. He brings a KR/PR skill that we have no totally addressed yet. Plus he is the highest rated CB. CJMosley will also be considered. With a one and done Williams our main squeeze at MLB dont discount the potential to take this player. Offensive player? If he dubs an Ebron/TE or a Cooks/WR as the best player available at our spot,l think he could surprise us with a pick here. I think we still have many spots to fill, FS,DT,CB, LB he could move down and get more picks. If we move down I think players like Hageman/DT-Fuller/CB-Ward/FS-Pryor/FS all could come into play.
-
I think Gilbert is in play to be our first pick. If we dont draft him we will be drafting a RB/WR that will one of our later picks. We have Hixon also on the roster so we are not void at that position.
-
If we draft a S with our first pick, I think I can guarantee he will be starting in his first year. If we grab Gilbert, he could be starting at slot CB spot. If we grab Donald would absolutely be in the rotation.

Urlacher would not have made a difference in our pitiful defense last year. I would suspect he wouldnt have played a full season. He was rated as one of the worst MLBs for shedding blocks in the league and with that shitty line we would be all talking about how he doesnt have it anymore. The dude couldnt run. Nobody in the league found valve in the great Urlacher. He was my favorite player in his prime but his days has passed several years ago. The only thing he would have brought was some leadership that would have helped the rookies learn faster but that is it.
-
If I dont recall, that would lead our team in sacks any year he was in the league.
-
Hard knocks is to much of a distraction, Im hoping we dont get to the show. We have work to do and that show will derail our work.
-
There is no way our first round pick is a depth player. We now have a luxury of drafting an impact player with our first pick. If he has his shit together Emery will draft a good if not great player that will contribute his first year and become a blue chip player in the next couple of years.
-
Thats what I was thinking too. Jared will get 2 years worth of snaps over 3 years. They will be smart with his time. There will be plenty of reps for all the DEs. Houston will play a lot of DT and everybody will be happy. I had to work 10 hours today so I am late to the party. I am willing to go out on a limb and say we are a top 10 in sacks this year. When they have our top rush line out then you leash a SMC on a rush and we start to kick ass. Our first pick in the draft will be a BPA type and Emery could go anywhere with that pick. I suspect it will be a S or CB, and maybe a DT. We still have needs everywhere but he will take the impact player we need and it could be anywhere. I personally would like to trade down in the 20's and keep the name Hageman on you mind because he is exactly the type of player he will draft if we move down.

What kind of restaurant ?
-
I have to say, your were right about the Band of Cutler, I thought no way we were doing that this year.
-
There are still a few names out there(TE) and I would not doubt that at all. Daniels,Keller,Scheffler. The more I think about it the more we have a few signings left instead of one big one with the extra money we got from The Bank of Cutler.
-
I think Hester did a good job last year, but he is not a 3 mil a year guy as some people purpose on here. The rule changes have made him ineffective on KRs anymore and on punts he makes to many fair catches and lets the ball drop to much. Just not the player he use to be and you have to ask u what thats worth. Obviously not much to us. Hope he does gets one more TD but he doesnt do it in bunches anymore, just not worth 3 mil.
-
What about a 5-2 with Houston moving inside and and Bostic or SMC moving to a hand on the ground in some rush packages. With the new coaches they got and versatile players, there going to show many different looks.
-
your on here 24-7 Im sure you have said almost anyting at one time or another, hard to keep track.
-
Your dreaming on that thought.
-
Hey its something to talk about, life is boring right now
-
with the Bears getting more cap space open, it aint for Mark Sanchez.
-
Its Allen or Cris Cleamons
-
Im sure almost any QB in league always thinks he should be a #1 until the reality hits that their not as good as they think they are. One reason they brought up Sanchez and us is Matt Cavaugh(spelled that wrong) was his QB coach from 2007 until 2011. A connection.
