  1. I agree, he is not the player he use to be. The key to this discussion is how well who they replace him with.If he does well the conversation will be over with, if he is not very good, we will here from Jason all season.
  2. Donald and Quarles are both 3 T type tackles. I suspect they would go with a bigger DT with the second choice.

We need to remember Josh McCown wasnt anything special until last year, so the system and Trestman had something to do with it. We can find another one to take his place.
  4. thanks looked at the wrong numbers.
  5. If the players are that close in ability probably wouldnt be a good signing, although maybe he is better than Mundy.
  6. Not sure where you got your information but Over the Cap listed his hit as 8.6 and change.
  7. I like Matt Miller but seen where last year PFF had him rated as the 16th best safety. Forgot who but someone had him rated as the 15th best FA this year.I think , if we sign him he would start along side Mundy. Although I agree he seems more of a SS, but need to check him out more.
  8. Just seen a report on Bleacher report that James Ihedigbo/S is deciding between us and Detroit as to who to sign with.
  9. If he goes to Seattle he wont be getting that kind of money. More like 2 year 13 mil.
  10. They got Mundy with the intent of him starting, but at a low salary for two years they would allow a SS to develop as a later pick. If we get Clemons he is a above average safety and doubt if we go safety in the first two rounds. More like a CB and DT.
  11. Star QB, hot women, good teammate. Let him cry, Im envious.
  12. What I dont understand is there listings. Jimmie Ward had 7 int and 10 pass breakups yet they list him in the box type of safety. To me that is a center fielder type(FS). There are 4 safetys that will start as rookies. HaHa-Pryor-Ward-Bucannon. I wouldnt mind any of them but the more I read about them the more I like Pryor and Ward a little better. Another sleeper to throw out there is Huff/Wyo he was productive and has some speed.4.38 speed 127 t-2 int-9 PBU.He is listed as a FS ad CB on different sites. Possibly could play either.See him as a 4th or 5th round pick. 6' 195 lbs.Seems more of SS to me, a tackle machine and has some pass defense skills.
  13. Instead of Bronco, stick a cladly dressed Honey Bear photo. I know you have them. She will be more noticed than a distant relative of the Bears. It makes a statement on the demise of the Honey Bears(an underdeveloped story) and adds some modern dress to the awesome banner you propose. At least throw it up there for discussion.

Another thing to consider our QB coach was with him from 2009 until 2011 in NY. Maybe have a connect that would bring him here on a song and let Trestman do his magic, lets say 2 year deal 2 mil. Then he can improve and get a McCown contract.
  15. He would bring 8 to 10 sacks, and would love him to be here. Move Houston inside on passing downs, and we might just rock.
  16. Two starting safeties and two rotational DT. Dont know anything about Carey but will check it out. Im all in.
  17. Thats sweet, the only thing missing is a naked cheerleader, but thats just me.
  18. I notice a few names on twitter that probably means crab but worth throwing out there.(slow time until draft) I seen on a local South Carolina paper that it was mentioned the Bears targeting K. Quarles at DT (he is a 3T type, likely in the second or third round) Also God forbid, seen Tebow's name mentioned that were looking at(Ugh)--enough said If trading was a likely scenario,SF is the only team loaded with players and draft picks. So lets say(yes) 14th pick for late 1st-2nd-3rd-4th. WHY? SF cut Carlos Rodgers and lost Tarrel Brown in FAgency so they move up to get Gilbert or Dennard so here we go(used Draft Tek) full draft list 30th pick-----Jernigan/DT/FSU-------intent on stopping the run this year 2nd-1--------- Roby/CB/OSU---------a valve and need with Peanut on a one year and Bowman not being resigned 2nd-2---------Jimmie Ward/FS/NIU--minus 5 lbs less that Earl Thomas, the kid can play 3rd-1----------C.J.Fiedorowicz/TE/Iowa---with the extra picks we address offense, not addressed in FAgency 3rd-2----------Kareem Martin/DE/NC----more youth at DE 4th-1-----------DAT/RB/Oregon----- we add speed at RB and plays slot WR another weapon to our Arsenal 4th-2-----------Zack Mettenberger/QB/LSU---extra picks lands us a QB 5th-------------Max Bullough/MLB/MSU---- a troubled player with great upside 6th-------------Gabe Ikard/OC/OKa------- a center prospect 6th-------------Brock Vereen/SS/Minn---safety depth after scanning thru Draft Tek list, seems unrealistic slotting of players.
  19. He was great in his day, but lately there has been to many let the balls drop, fair catches. He never was very good with his decision making, just had the pure speed to take one all the way every so often. He is no longer that person. Offense is to over whelming for him. to much thinking and he gets confused, that is just the way it is.
  20. Ill get the pic for the banner, you just have to trust me.
  21. I will gladly find an avatar of worthy status of this blog.
  22. they can move Houston to 3 t spot, that would make for an interesting front 4. Young , Houston, Ratliff, Allen
  23. He left without a contract, pondering whether he will sign with them.
  24. We need to go out and put a stamp on J. Allen and get him here. Seahawks arent going to pay him big money. give him a 1 year 6 mil and have him grab 10 sacks and everybody would be content with that. We can play with the cap to get that done.
