I think anyone that has won that many SBs proabaly get more team friendly calls.
-
You said it best when you said Flus doesnt give you a winning edge in a game. So if we won that game , you're saying everyone would still be talking about Flus game decisions? First of all the not calling a TO at the end of the game wont have been into play. He allowed Waldron to call the goaline play, that is on him but the team came right back and scored on their next series. Not sure that would be a large talking point. Now you always critisize Flus, Im saying that Bear fandom would not be obsessing with these plays in a negative way last last week was. Im not trying to make excuses for him, he still is our HC and just not calling for his job.

Who is the best 5 that are able to play? Borom was bad last year but can get us thru a game. Just because we havent seen him we seem to forget. Had he not got hurt, I think he would have never made the 53 man roster. I think moving Pryor is our best option. Jenkins will start but thinking he doesnt play the whole game. If Bates isnt ready I think Kramer may take some snaps there. Hopefully Shelton stays healthy he has been more consistent than in his first few games. Unfortunitely Davis will need to play. If he wants to stay in the NFL, he needs to put good snaps on film. If Bates is ready, maybe here. Wright should be fine but the new roster Jack Curham will have to back him up or Borom if not starting on the left side. With all the negativity we went thru this week, we were one play away from hearing none of this. Fingers pointed every where but I think it was on Stevenson celebrating to early.( lost his focus), Heard one narrator say that had he been in the right position, ,Brown was his man, the ball would have been in front of him and he would have knocked it down. Instead of runnung from the side angle to the ball of which he tipped it up.

If you're making the point he keeps making mistakes, yes, it comes down to winning. If we are winning, we over look mistakes, if we're losing every mistkae gets amplified. Time for a divorse, okay that probably wont happen until January. So lets be miserable for 2 months or try to fix it. If the team comes out flat, Flus will lose his job because clearly the players quit on him, no matter who you blame, that doesnt work. If we lose the next 2 games, I believe Poles may very well fire him, not sure who's next inline but it will be in house. I dont think he has lost the locker room, also that we will win and will can save this convesation for the next game.

Actually they hired the Tennessee OL coach as his assistant. Don't remember the name. As far as putting Flus to bed, I'll use this example of a comparison. Let's say you and your wife went to a Halloween party and some drunk girl comes up puts her arms around you and gives you a kiss. Your wife sees it and the argument begins. You apologize and try to move on. The next week ( outside noise) friends keep bringing it up keeping the argument going all week. Does this help the relationship ( culture)? Does it divide you both ( team) or add to further turmoil? I just don't see what value it does to keep trying to demoralize the team?

I've been a Bear fan since Butkus was drafted, felt the pain for so many years, i should have just changed teams but I'm loyal to a fault. Im just trying to find positive out of the anguish of watching week to week. i see what you guys see but he is the coach so I will try to be loyal. i did the same with Fields last year, dwell on the good but seen the bad. Once Fields was traded I bought in on CW. When Flus is gone I'll do the same thing. He's not gone yet.

My point, I get it he's screwed up many times, every coach makes mistakes, I now have strike one . He is not trending well BUT we have 10 games left to play. Its early. He's not getting fired anytime soon. Enjoy your misery.

We have short memories. Last yeat in the NFC title game , the great Dan Campbell went several times on 4th downs and failed. That lost them a chance to go to a SB. His defense was (that's how we got here) Every HC and OC screw up.

In the Houston game last night DeMarco Ryan and Slovek ran a play at the goalline where Joe Mixon threw a failed pass to CJ Stroud. They lost the game. Should they be fired? This moring the media are talking about (the play) again saying the Bears wont let it die. The media keeps asking the questions that keep this goaline play alive instead of moving on to the very important game Sunday. After 5 days of beating everybody up, they just cant let it go. What am I missing here? Everybody keeps it up making everybody feel bad over a loss. I felt bad for 2 days and decided to gain my positive attitude and remember we have a very good defense, A potential top 5 QB and have a WINNING record. Do I need to start looking for a rope ? Apparently the future is dead.

You have always been consistent with your opinion, I am mainly speaking to the people that flip every other week because we win or lose.
-
Have what ever opinion you want but he aint going anywhere until after the season is over. We just won 3 games in a row and lost to a good team with a miractle play . We now have the worst coach in the league, really? IF we win the next 2 games it will put us in a really good spot to possibly get a playoff spot. If he wins 10-11 games, I doubt he's gets fired. He's not Harbaugh or Shanahan or Reid. If he loses more than he wins, he will be gone. I thought the most important mission this year was the developement of Caleb. Poles drafted him, Flus gave him the job without a competition, and thrown the whole playbook at him right away. I think everyone would agrees he is getting better. I'm going to let this play out and let the season determine whether Flus stays, Waldron stays, or Caleb keeps developing . Poles aint getting rid of Flus. no matter how much fans complain. Enjoy the ride. We got better at the end of last year, and still have a winning record. The meteor isn't hitting the Earth this week. (According to Aaron Rodgers).

Vikings trade for LT Cam Robinson for 3rd day draft compensation
Stinger226 replied to BearFan PHX's topic in Bearstalk
Definitely would have helped our depth. Making 21 mil for this year at 29 years old. His complaint is not aggresive and lack of focus.(Nate Davis) PFF ranked as 48th graded T. He is ranked higher than Braxton. -
I was being sarcastic. Everyone on X today that was preaching doom and gloom, that's what I posted.

The way it sounds we are now in the running for the worst record. Terrible coach, terrible OC, clearly we picked the wrong QB, Daniels is playing much better. Trade Caleb get 2 or 3 first round picks. New coach, new OC, and new QB so they all can grow together.
-
We have a very good defense and a potential all star QB getting better. Now we have a good running game and you guys think we will lose 8 games in a row? We beat Minny and Detroit last yr with a worse roster. Can I say over reaction AGAIN?

I get the critizism, so if we are 10-7 will they fire him? Im not sure about that. i heard all the interviews and T J Edwards said it best, they need him and he needs to play Sunday. It will hurt the team if he doesnt. They all made mistakes Sunday(players), and he said the players have his back. He said they all learned from all the mistkaes made. The SCORE hosts are making out like the players are calling him out. He said the captains met yesterday and that's not true. To be honest with some of the mistakes made on Sunday, its the first time I started thinking Flus may need to go. Last year I started doing that and they went 5-3 with 2 of those loses in the end of the game and changed my mind.
