  1. Hoyer is going to have a base of 6 mil and with incentives can make 9 mil a year for the next two years. He gets 10 guaranteed . So if we signed Hoyer with the idea of being a lot cheaper that just got thrown out the window.
  2. Your score is: 13838 (GRADE: A+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 9 (CINN): Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State (A-) Round 1 Pick 22 (MIA): Garett Bolles, OT, Utah ( Round 2 Pick 9 (CINN): Budda Baker, FS, Washington (B-) Round 2 Pick 24 (OAK): David Njoku, TE, Miami (Fla.) (A+) Round 3 Pick 6 (NYJ): Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State ( Round 3 Pick 19 (TENN): Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa (A) Round 3 Pick 24 (OAK): Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami (Fla.) (A) Round 3 Pick 36 (TENN): Lorenzo Jerome, SS, Saint Francis (PA) ( Round 3 Pick 43 (NYJ): Zay Jones, WR, East Carolina (A+) Round 4 Pick 4: Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo (B-) Round 4 Pick 9 (CINN): Dan Skipper, OT, Arkansas © Round 4 Pick 10: Isaac Asiata, OG, Utah (A+) Round 5 Pick 3: Davis Webb, QB, California (C-) Round 7 Pick 3: Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State (A) Here I got 7 As and actually 2 Cs and had a high grade, unless need comes into their equation.
  3. How does that draft get a 14000 mark? It has 6 A grades when the first draft you did had 10 As and just 2 Bs. , you only got 10000.
  4. There are 3 worthy of that pick, Jamal Adams--Marshon Lattimore--Solomon Thomas Allen has dropped out of that spot due to future injury potential. I would be satisfied with any of those 3 names.
  5. He is the pre and post commentator on the Bucs network , has been working for the team for 5 years. It would be like getting a opinion from Marellus Bennett or getting one from Tom Thayer that has been around the team for many years. Anthony as Tom would have a better insight into the team from being around the team. Once again, you dont pay attention.
  6. I totally understand where your coming from. I disagree with you on some subjects not all.
  7. Upside is giving him the chance to see what he has as a starter. He has a low interception rate. If you listen to people that was with him in Tampa he gets a good review. I do not know enough but there is information out there that gives you an upside. Anthony Becht was on the score and he talked him up and he has been in Tampa for longer than Glennon has been there. Lawence Tye on twitter that played with him has favorable things to say about him. the upside is not coming from me but others that have been around him.
  8. So there is not unknowns with a rookie QB that most experts say in the worst class for drafting a QB in several years?
  9. I agree, if it ends up costing us 18 mil this year for cost of a QB and a rookie, to have two shots of upside is better than wandering around in wonderland any more.
  10. I thing that is to much but if it is basically a one year of guarantee money and be able to get out of it. Im ok with that.
  11. Taylor has not been released yet, so its hard to fit him in a conversation until he is let go.
  12. I didnt like the idea at first, but we know what Hoyer is, Glennon has an upside we may not have seen yet. And most importantly it is new blood instead of looking at the same thing as last year.
  13. I have been trolling twitter and it seems to be the four players we are in play for are: Gilmore/CB DJ Sweanager/FS Wagner/RT Glennon/QB If that is what we end up with , I would be okay with that. Pace is big on not paying more than a value he sets like last year he wanted Jerkins/CB and Jackson/DE but would not go over his placed value. I think this year he over pays for Gilmore and knows he has to do that , to secure a better Oline, paying Wagner would not be a bad thing. Pace knows to move forward he needs a good Oline and Wagner would be one more piece. Sweanger would be consider a up and coming ready to blossom player, I can buy that .I prefer Harmon from NE but they are doing the scouting not me.
  14. I see the two egos clashing much sooner than later.
  15. I dont think Glennon is 5 mil better than Hoyer but on Bears all access, Miller was talking about he has enough upside to actually become a competent starting QB. So do we roll the dice, grab him and still draft a prospect and see who ends up better. We are the only ones after his services so if we give him a 3 year 32 mil contract, who that be a bad thing?
  16. Gilmore is clearly more of a play maker than bouye.
  17. If the reports are true Jeffery and Glennon will both get 14 mil a year. Jeffery is worth it but think we may not get that deal done Glennon is not significantly better than Hoyer which is less than half the cost. So you sign Hoyer to 15 mil, 3 year contract, he has no problem being a bridge player and is statistically in the same tier as Glennon. So with the extra money we sign Jack Doyle to a three year contract 16 mil. ( he is a good blocker and can catch the ball) allow us to play 2 TE sets that enhance the running game. We sign Kyle /FB he is an excellent blocker and can catch the ball and run. He would be great support for the running game and short passing game. 3 year 11 mil We sign Ricky Wagner/RT he adds to our already strong OL We sign Robert Woods 4.51 speed -excellent route runner and great hands, gives us a dependable WR for Hoyer to go to and can play out of the slot. Other signers are Duron Harmon/FS Gilmore/CB Campbell/DE In the draft we trade back for people to get a shot at a QB- 1st Thomas/DE-OLB 2a Obi Melifonwu/CB 2b Zay Jones/WR 3 Peterman/QB At QB Hoyer-Shaw-Peterman( I have seen people say he wont be any good to actually comparing him to Derek Carr) At WR White(still a ?) Meredith a potenial #2 Zay Jones a future stud Robert Woods a good reliable wideout At Te Miller-Doyle-Brown-rookie At FB Kyle Juszczyk good blocker and receiver
  18. I think we give Hoyer a 3 year=15 mil contact with 6 guaranteed which is essential a one year deal.
  19. Here are a few free agents, to not be surprised at signing Hyde/CB-S he can play several spots on defense which fits in Fangio's defense to not change personal and will come cheaper that most DBs on the market.
  20. we coached him at the senior bowl, we already know about him.
  21. i am starting to get on your bandwagon with Thomas, I seen one NFL profile that compares him to Justin Smith, I think Allen gets pushed back with the medicals . I still think we would be better off grabbing Campbell, and draft Adams at 3.
  22. I have stated I like Gilmore better than any of the other CBs but I think everybody will drive up the price to wear we look for other value.
  23. I think SF takes him, He is the type of player Shanahan looks for.
