  1. DTs are in short supply, I dont see anybody trading anybody of valve during the season except maybe Cleve, what do they have? They seem to be willing to get rid of anybody.
  2. Wow, were 3-0 and we're talking about the draft?
  3. On Spotrac they list his cap hit as his full salary for the next two years as 18+ and 20+. They keep moving money out to the end of his contract to relieve the cap the last few years. It is full salary as a cap hit. It aint happening, he will be here until his contact is gone. You might as well have him here if you have to play him and get what you can out of him. It will cost his money and plus the other players money to replace him and that aint happening.
  4. We redid his contract again this year, we are on the hook for his full salary if we cut him next year.
  5. Right now I think the only two teams we wouldnt win with is Denver and Seattle, but the next few weeks will define better which teams are good and just so so .
  6. I think our defense line will show improvement going forward, it is the same group that played well last year. As far as Melton goes, that could be a problem, but I actually think Collins was more effective than Melton has been playing. Going forward I would expect Melton to get back to form which wont happen now. I think our defense will not be great, but if we get some big plays every game, cant expect more than that.
  7. I think we are a work in progress, we are only scratching the surface of what our offense can be. We need work but have flashers, and we are doing enough to win games. Defensively I think we are about what we will be, give up a lot of yards and make some big plays. Every week is not going to go well for us, but who on here actually thought we would be 12-4 or 13-3, I never did. I still think we will be around 10-6 which would mean we go 7-6 the rest of the games. If we continue to improve, we may do better than that, but we will have to see when we play better teams if the magic continues. The key is we are making progress. Our offense have looked really good at times and mediocre other times. The great think is it has produced when we needed to to win games, and that is huge.
  8. We are a long way away from being a elite team, but 3-0 is a good start. We can find plenty to scratch our head with, but we have things to smile about too. Cutler looks clutch/ Looks like we have a plan when crunch time pops up. The defense gave more pressure, Peppers is starting to show up. What I see is progress, we adjust to adjustments and have come out on top. If we want to look at imperfection, we have plenty to look at but we are doing this while we are winning games. I think that is huge. Ask GB and SF about what looked bad. What I like is we are headed in the right direction, as sloppy as that might look, we are still 3-0, I cant tear this apart. When we find our first loss, I am not sure I will be able to hang around to hear all of the soothsayers. May I suggest to enjoy what we have, it is so hard to consistently win in the NFL, lets find a little joy in winning on the road to a desperate team.
  9. cant get anything by you,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,any hot women in your neck of the woods?
  10. Im not sure where the Bears started the season but our odds of winning the Super Bowl are 20 to 1. Looking at the odds? KC is 33-1,Houston 12-1, Denver 4-1 I think with Clady being out for the season, Denver has dropped a little with there expectations. We will see how they do against some of there tougher opponents, any more key injuries and they might not make it. I suppose you can say that about any good team thou.

I found a spot that stated they had 7 picks in the first 4 rounds, but it didnt break it down to the specific rounds. They need to draft two studs out of the first 3 picks to make all that they do worth while. We may be in there position in the very near future if the Cutler experiment falls apart, but Im not sure we can fall as far as the Browns will fall this year.
  12. I think more time helps Cutty but I dont think we can dismiss the fact he got married and had a child that has grounded him, and I guess to say matured him. I think it has affected his attitude about life and therefore affected his appoach to football. Not the whiney little bitch he is capable of being. He is the key to this season. If he makes the right decisions on the football field, most of the time, we will be successful. Also it is a contract year, and I always think that has an affect on pro athletes.
  13. Of course we can win this game, it just absolutely will not be easy. I think the key to the game will be turnovers. If we have the plus side of it, we will win, if not a potential lose. We need to score early and keep Pitt on its heels, be balanced and keep the long scoring plays from happening. If we make them go with long drives to score and limit them to FGs, we win this game. Thank God they cant run, will help a lot.

I think I heard they had 6 picks in the first 3 rounds, but havent verified that info. I think the new regime, wants the top QB and 2 first round picks gives them potential to move up if they need to. Apparently they dont have the same opinion of Richardson as the previous heads of the Browns. It sucks for the fans, but going forward if they draft well it will be a good future.
  15. thank you for the obvious. Its not like we 0-2 and pulling our hair out. I dont get it.
  16. I would like it to be different but we will get more of the same with late game heroics again. The STE are not very good but wounded animals find away to fight back. They are going to make this tough but I still think we will win. Im the forever optimist.
  17. Way to early, right on there. We have so many contracts coming up things are going to be quite impossible to predict. One thing for sure if Cutler plays well, he will get paid.
  18. I have him in several leagues and his valve just went up. He will be used sparingly this week but will be up to speed in another week. Expect around 10 touches. Im not playing him in any of my leagues.
  19. I dont see anyway , whether he plays well or not, we resign Melton. He will demand a lot of money, if Cutler plays well, he will get a big paycheck. We have several fat contracts, you have to let someone go,and I believe it will be him.
  20. You want a CB,saftey,DT,OC,QB?whats your priority? We have to CB,DT,CB to fill our weakest spots on D.
  21. I have to say he has no problem making fun of himself, he's got that going for him.
  22. We are not going to have a choice with Peppers,we restructured his contract again so were on the hook for him the next two years. Big cap hits if we cut him.
  23. Thats a cool stat to hang your hat on.
