Every year is different but the end of last year we should have beat Detroit twice and lost 17-9 to GB , beat Minny. We competed with those teams last year and will again this year. By the time we get to division , we my have the best QB playing. Darnold is pedestrian, Goff can be raddled an Love likes to turn over the ball. We seemed to be blessed this year with injures( none serious so far) and other teams are losing players. The schedule was given to us to develop a rookie QB and he is getting better. I think we win all of our home games this year that would put us at least 3-3 in the divsion. So far we are 8-0 with the end of last season. I think we end up with a winning record and could be playoff bound. Jayden Daniels hurt could be benifical but I prefer he plays.

I like that our early schedule has easier teams, gives us a chance to get CW up to speed. The coaches have time to figure the best way to use our players. Injuries is everyone's worst nightmare and we have been good as far as major injuries to star players. When our schedule hits the division we may have the best QB in it.

While in London we only committed 2 penalties.

He isnt trading anyone unless they give him a top draft pick. No one will do that. His (Herbert) depth value is more vaulable that a 6th round pick.

Poles stated he is building thru the draft, he only gets free agents to fill needs. He brought in Taylor(cheap), Jacob Martin ( coming back from injury), signed Tim Williams and drafted Booker. I dont think he is going after any DL. Pryor is the starter at RG for sake of the bad Davis but he is still listed as the backup. Murray is the backup tp Jenkins and has performed well. Bates is coming back from injury but Shelton has played better. Booker is coming off injury and was the original swing tackle. Kiran is starting to get some snaps, be it ST. I think he has every position covered with backups that are capable of good snaps. I dont think there is anyone available that can do better. We could upgrade a few spots but with who?He's not wasting trade capital and give out a big contract to a disgruntiled player.

Wow that surprises me JF1 has ddid better so far. With CW its about progress and has a higher ceiling than even Mahomes did.

Journalists are the ones promoting these trades. The only one/s I trust are Brad Biggs or similar local beat writers. Lambert is notorious for making shit up. So far the DL has not been a problem, OL yes but no good choices out there. Scherff makes 11.5 mil this year and `14.5 mil next year. He is 33 and will play at 34. Pickens did the same transformation with his body that Dexter did but havent seen it yet because of his injuries. Bookie is starting to be more noticable on tape and we have yet to see a breakout game from Sweat. I think we are find with the DL. The OL has Bates and Borom coming back plus Kiran is getting more up to speed. I think the more they play together the better play we see. If we only have a middle rated OL on the year it will be fine . Plus we have a QB that has a quick release, can be decisive and has escapabilty. Once he reaches his ceiling , we wont notice the OL.

With Murray and Pryor playing well enough I doubt it. Getting Davis was a bust, more so because of the 10 mil he paid him. Cheap free agents surprise you, expensive ones ,if it doesnt work out , are bad decisions. If anyone does want to trade someone it would an older guy with a big contract. Poles wont do that. Now Reddicks (DE) name as been in the news but it sounds like he is a character issue. Signed a one year contract for 14.5 mil and wont play because he wants more money.

I think with the prospect of Bates coming back he will wait to see what he does. The trade deadline is down the road so he has time. Kiwan is waiting in the wings if Jones doesnt get better. The worse teams that may be willing to do that probably doesnt have any playing well enough to get anything for them. Good teams value the OL. Conor Williams is playing worse than Shelton right now, has 2 sacks given up and 5 penalities. He will be a FA after this year.

I dont think Tomlin is changing the QB at 4-2. Justin is popular with his teammates and lots of people say Wilson is kind of a jerk.

Its never happened before but is possible this year, not a lot of strong teams in the NFC. Adam could the four teams make it to the final 4 teams in the NFC without playing each other?

Poles was so smart extending him for a team friendly contract. He's 8th in cost but in the top 5 TEs in the league. Signed thru 2027.

I think we got the pick in the bag. JF1 scored 2 rushing TDs and has 5 passing TDs with only 1 interception on the year. 231 yds rushing with another 5 TDs and only 1 lost fumble. Plus they're 4-2, they arent changing anytime soon.

Hopefully we are fully heathy but its his running Im worried about. Sweat is a good run defender but worry about the left side when Walker moves inside.

When we get older , we dont heal as fast. Its been 14 months since I broke my neck and its just now my body almost feels normal. I lost 50% motion in my neck but at 72, I'll live with that.

A big part of our offense getting better is the threat of K. Allen playing. He's a very good ball player.
