Emery mentioned that in the press conference but that doesnt mean he will do that, just listing his options. He has mentioned several times about moving back, so that is most likely what HE wants to do.

This morning on the SCORE Brad Briggs stated the OLine was Bushrod,Brown,Garza,Slauson,Webb with Carmi and Scott seeing time on the right side. Well so far with people that attended practice we have 3 different lineups. I guess pick the one you most trust. In any event, Carmi is right at this moment in time a backup. Also stated that Carmi was moved to LG,RG, and RT so will see how it all shakes out. I dont think we will see the wasted time outs and time penalties anymore with this coaching staff. They are to the point and everybody is lining up right, everything seems fluid. Not much you can tell with players in shorts but that is one thing you can notice.

Went back and read his draft profiles and it states he doesnt have the footwork to be a OT but a strong run blocker with an attitude. Despite his size, has good leverage with his blocks. He was never hurt in college. It sounds like a descent prospect to play OG but was derailed with injuries while in the league. If his injuries are behind him, he could become a starter. I think Kromer has input in some of the OLine prospects we are bringing in. Maybe he has plan that could work out. I dont think we should discount the fact he may like Brown and that may end up being our RG going forward.

With them bringing more bodies in at OG and Carmi not being given the starter spot, It aint looking good for Carmi to stick with the team. Although you only get impressions without pads on, they look at a lot of tape. Last years tape on Carmi was not good at all. Hopefully he can earn his way back to a starter..I looked up his salary and if we cut him this year it ends up being 2.8 mil in dead cap. That might come into play.

Briggs tweeted he was at OG and Zack stated on the SCORE he was backing up Brown at RG. There are not allowed to tweet during practice but they are not restricted to there content when they do tweet.
-
It was stated he was only at RG.
-
Brad Briggs tweets, and Zack Zaidmen on the score.
-
I was reading tweets from Brad Briggs and listening to the Score.

Or we are going to draft one.

It doesnt cost anything to sign these type of players, and if he realizes his potenial, we may have another piece to add to the mix. Our cap is measured by the top 51 players salaries.
-
Hester no where near the Offense. I see him cut if he doesnt impress anybody with some flash. Carmi practicing strictly at Guard. Do we see a Fluker in our future?
-
Just one guys opinion, and agree with Johnsons, Fitzgerald and Marshall being in the top 5. At this point in time, Wes Welker has to be acknowledged somewhere towards the top, I think production counts for something.

Like this one a lot better. I have read a lot about Ryan and would be a good pickup in 4th.
-
You really jumped right in with two trades. Like all the names but dont know anything about Williams, and I think Dysert goes before the 5th.
-
Technically its the first pick in the second round.

Some people in my life think I have intuition, which leads me to being called a psychic, or if I misspelled that( psycho.) I think we trade down with Jacksonville and get 33 and 64 with our first rounder. Jacksonville will trade up to grab a QB they covet. 33-Arthur Brown/LB 50-David Amerson/CB 64-Brian Winters/OG 117-Akeem Spence/DT 153-Khail Holmes/)C 188-Jasper Collins/WR

I think Ogletree is the stud out of this LBers prospects and think we should take him if available. IF one of the two OGs are there at 20, we have to grab one of them. Any Pro Bowl type players need to added to the OLine. Worst case scenario would be Austin, both OGs and Olgetree being there all at the same time, in a good way. I would still have to go OG.
-
I totally agree, we have to,get a quality player, I think our first two picks should be by BPA
-
I just read a Bleacher Report article and they had Marshall listed as the 6th best WR in the league, and I think that fits. Although they had Percy Harvin listed as #2, not so sure about that. C. Johnson-1 Harvin-2 Green-3 A. Johnson-4 R.White-5
-
If we draft Fluker, I would not be upset, but think Ogletree will end up being an all pro LB and not sure Fluker would be. I just read an article on Trufant, and they were talking about him not being a physical type player. I think with all the big WRs we have in the league, there are some CBs that might end up being better players.
-
I think I got that list off of Midway Illustrated. This is a list of players the Bears have shown varying degrees of interest in,not one person's opinion.
-
I wouldnt be unhappy with a CB, OL, DT or as I assume a LB. We are in the position to draft a very good player at what ever position falls to us. I trust them to get quality at 20 or even if we move back, we still can get 2 to 3 really good prospects.
-
If the OLinemen are gone, it is the next obvious position to fill, for now and the future. The DBs are deep,(get one later) and DT will end up being a rotation guy, so that will be addressed later.
-
Gooden's position in the pros is most likely Briggs spot. So there is a chance he will sit for a couple of years. Since we dont have a 3rd rounder, picking him at 2 is to high.

Bennett has guaranteed money yet this year, but if he doesnt produce better than last year, he will be asked to take a pay cut or be cut. (after this year)
