  1. I would be all in on Stanley in the first, but at some point there are going to draft a QB that they think can become a starter. If Cutler goes down, season would be down the tubes. If Leno goes down, we have a body to stick in right now.
  2. I would be right there with you on those choices. The first 3 are quite realistic but I think Smith is long gone by the 4th round. I think he goes in the second round.
  3. Cleveland also released Donte Whitner/S who use to play for Fangio and is only 30.
  4. That would be an awesome draft but agree with SCS, we draft a QB prospect, maybe instead of Johnstone
  5. Cleveland released Ifo Ekpre-Olumu/CB who has been injured but is suppose to be fully recovered. He may be a good depth sign.
  6. That makes a lot of sense, trading one of them.
  7. I seen an article stating Philly is going to a 4-3 and Connor Barwin might be on the trading block because of the scheme change. He's 29 and has had 21.5 sacks the last 2 years? I would say giving one of our 4th rounders may do it. Any takers?

If his medical news is good, go for it.
  9. Somebody will draft him with a late 4 or 5th, probably to rich for our blood. Someone like a NE or a Denver, Arz, Car, a late round picker that can take risks.
  10. Here is a link from Windy City Gridiron, a lot of interesting trades to land more picks. I like it, dont like the QB pick, should have went for one of the good prospects in the spot they picked Martin.(before OL signings.) http://www.windycitygridiron.com/2016/3/31...ition-3-31-2016

He's not special but probably an upgrade over what we had.
  12. Everything is speculation and everything you read on twitter doesnt always have legs. Justin Houston is out for the year, do you think maybe something in the works for Lamar Houston or Willie Young? There is no way we are getting rid of Slauson, he is the leader of the Oline right now. Larsen is just a depth guy, but I could see maybe Slauson playing center and one of the new additions play Slausons spot.
  13. How about Clady ? What would you think that is worth?
  14. Just seen a tweet that adam Caplan stated that bears will be signing ted Larson/G-C formerly with Arizona

There are 8 players that most people consider the first tier-plums Tunsil Bosa Buckner Stanley Ramsey Elliott Jack Wentz In the next 6, climb into the top ten or close to it Goff Hargraves Lawson Spence Tredwell Robinson If any of the first group drop, I say we are all on top of it. In the next group, I suspect Robinson or Hargraves would be the choices. If they think one of the edge rushers are good, it may be Lawson or Spence, outside shot-Floyd. I have also seen Conklin flirting with the top 12, that may be a choice.
  16. Manny is definitely a better player and has played all three inside spots. As a backup, age will not matter as much, is a stop gap to bringing a player to develop.
  17. Manny Ramirez to vist Bears.

On all the visits and meetings last year, White was the only name on the list we drafted.
  19. I agree, there really isnt any that appear to be of a 11 valve, but they do much more research on them than we do, so they may have a different view. As much as Young, Houston, McPhee can be good, none of them are stud edge rushers, someone than can get you 12 - 15 sacks a year. Because there are not that many plums at that position, they may valve one of them at 11.
  20. Scott Chandler is a decent choice, good blocker with some catch ability
  21. If yhey thonk one of those guys are vonn miller, do they worry about to many bodies
  22. It they think a playmaker is that at 11(in their opinion) OLB could be our first pick. Spence , Lawson,Floyd, Ogbah. I am not sure if those are any difference makers but they probably know.
  23. He broke an ankle his first year, and has started every game the last two years. The great PFF gave him a 43.7 rating, Leno got a 30.5 rating. I think the problem is , he has not lived up to being the second pick in the draft, but not a bust.
  24. I would not call it a mistake to try to grab a player that may be ascending. Every move will not turn out, but the point is to keep moving forward. When Seattle started becoming good, they made plenty of mistakes along the way but found some gems to. They obtains Harvin, not so hot. Paid Matt Flynn money. The point is get where you have to go and do it with as few as mistakes as possible.

Here is a thought I will throw out there, what if we offered Jacksonville a 4th or 5th round pick for Luke Joeckel/LT They signed Kelvin Beachum to a 5 year 45 mil deal. Luke is an athletic player but has lacked in strength. I doubt Jack will have two expensive LTs on the roster. I suggest a trade, preferable 5th rounder but we have 2 4th rounders. Is is worth the chance to give him a new team and motivate him? He did not have a good year but was rated higher than Leno. Is it worth a 4th round pick to get a potential LT
