Seen where PFF had Whitehair rated as the 17th best player in the draft. GBND had him rated at the 20th best player in the draft.

OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD
Those three are power rushers, none are considered speed rushers.

OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD
That is very possible too, never thought about that. In any event our OL will be way better in 16

OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD
He was playing well at OC, all of this probably tells us they do not think Grassu is ready yet to man the position. At least we have great competition in the trenches.

OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD
He was the top rated OG in the draft, but still could be put at LT, that is where he played in college, maybe they scored a A+ for out thinking everybody else? Or could give us the best OG tandem in the league.
-
OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD
PFF had him rated as the top LT in college football last year. A stud run blocker. He was just rated as the best valve pick in the draft by PFF
-
OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD
He is 6'5" 312, ranked in the top 32 players on most player rankings I have seen. He could be staying at LT.

OFFICIAL DRAFT DAY 2 THREAD
He played LT in college, maybe he stays put there. Everyone projects him as a OG.

Who do we take in round #3?
Nick Vannett/TE one of only two blocking TEs in the draft, upside as a receiver.
-
Who do we take in round #2???
Some sneaky good picks with the second pick Johnathan Bullard/5T-strong at point of attack, good production, speed off the edge Xaiver Howard/CB tall productive corner Brandon Kaufusi/5T length, speed, productive Kenneth Dixon/RB the best pure runner left in the draft, can catch the ball

Floyd
I think the biggest thing we have going for us is Fox and Fangio developing him and using him properly. He will be successful.
-
Bears Draft Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
Just seen some stats from PFF on Floyd. in 178 pass rush snaps he (54% of his playing time) had 4.5 sacks, 8 QB hits, and 29 hurries. This keeps sounding better.

Bears rumors
Ya didnt think about Spriggs but he could be a starter in year one.

Bears Draft Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia
I was afraid they were moving up to grab Paxton Lynch when it first happened. I have been reading and looking at everything I can find on Floyd and I have to admit, I am warming up to the idea. Fox and Fangio always have had stud pass rushers in there defense. I think with there excitement they think they got one. I think in the first year he will be used excusably as a pass rush specialist, but as he gains weight and functional strength, he will be a regular OLB. Young could possibly be traded for a late round pick today, Getting rid of Houston is possible with his contract but the fact is those two arent our future at OLB. I think they are both good players but will be gone in a year and is not viewed as our future. I think he ends up as a 250lb speed edge rusher that could get you 12 sacks a year and would be very good addition to our defense going forward.
