Long will get his deal done this year, that will probably average 10 million. 10 mil for rookies and yearly transactions. Not as much there as you think. We will get a DL yet, meybe Hicks maybe Cedric Thornton.
  2. Anybody signing on the first day of Agency is getting over paid, that is life in the fast lane. Above average player, probably a 5 mil guy?
  3. The bears are interested in signing a CB, names that have surfaced are P.Robinson,Casey Heyward, and Corty Sensenbaugh
  4. If he comes back here it will be a little above the vet min. He is not one to count on by himself,we still need to add another.
  5. I agree with those names, would love the Graham trade, but probably wont happen. I think a OG will be announced tomorrow also. Probably Vasquez.
  6. That info has been out there for a month, but this reporter is restating he heard that today to reaffirm the rumor. He is a better S that we have on the roster right now. A few years from now Amos with progress past him.
  7. If you do that, that is 7-8 mil we dont buy other FAs with. Of course that would be great but they simply will not do that. I would rather have Jeff Allen and David Burton that would up grade two positions instead the one free agent.

Trading out of the first is not a good idea. I would trade back and then grab Ragland who will probably still be there down around 20. By trading back we should be able to get that teams first , maybe a third and 5th.
  9. Heard a reporter from Denver state that he heard David Burton/S will also be going to the Bears, besides Trevathan
  10. I would say they made an offer, so he will go back to the Bears if their offer is for more money. He was with Foxy in Denver so we have the upper hand anyway you look at it. Falcons have 27 mil in cap space. needs- WR and OLinemen so they may not be able to up money on Trevathan
  11. Yes but grabbing two LBs in the 7-8 range and losing a 2nd rounder, hurts us from adding other FAs to the team. Add one and draft one and spend the money at another position. Also heard that Atlanta jumped into the mix, not a done deal. At least it will drive up the price, so we are not done with this yet.
  12. Its nice to dream but that wont happen. Given up a 11 pick in the second round would be to pricy. We will draft an impact player there that will be cheap for 4 years , so that wont happen.
  13. Bjoern Werner was cut by Colts. Another one of these physical studs that cant play football. This is why I want no part of Robert Nkemdiche. If you dont have production in college , how the hell can you expect him to be productive in the NFL.
  14. All four of those would be starters, so that would be a big offseason and then draft at least 2 or even 3 starters and were back in business for a good record.
  15. Seen where with Miami grabbing M. Williams that Cameron Wake may be on his way out. He was injured last year but his previous years he was a stud sacker.
  16. I think the main reason there are releasing him is the 6.75 price tag. If we could get him for like a 3 year 12 mil , huge upgrade over last year
  17. If we can grab those three names, we could be in good shape going into the draft. If Hicks gets a money deal, who would be our next choice at DL? I talking about a 2nd tier player , not a Howard or Harrison type.
  18. At least if you have two people interested it may raise the price. As of now probably a 6th but if we could get a 5 th or trade for Graham. Graham may not be the same player he was with NO but would rather have him than paying Miller 5 mil a year.
  19. Mathews will come for 1 1/2 mil, where Forte is going to cost someone 4 to 5 mil. to much money for a rebuilding team.
  20. Louis Vasquez has been released in Denver and have seen tweets that we are hot after him. He is 28 and from what I can tell has been a starter every year in the league.
  21. That would be a nice change of pace back for us.
  22. This is great news, finally snagged a play maker for the D. Now get S and DL and we will be smiling.
  23. You put a lot of thought into this and have great names, but you gave away our 2nd pick to acquire Marshall, . there is no way we go after both Denver lbers
  24. The one thing we learned last year was Pace is tight lipped. We have no idea what he is doing or want to do. I think when tomorrow comes, he will have one recruit we go after. The first contracts are usually fat ones, the kind he said he will avoid.
  25. Would you give up a 2nd round pick for Brandon Marshall/LB ? I read a tweet that says we are interested in him, and he has a tendered offer from Broncos , so if we signed him, we would have to give up a 2nd.
