You are right about the injury, but he could easily play the 3 tech position.

He might have some valve, which others may think also that could drive the price up. Before injuries he was quite good.

I think its a lack of practice time, player quality and the mentality of which you mentioned. In a house of cards, take one card out and the whole house is weaken. In our case there are several cards missing.

last year for the whole season we had 79 missed tackles, so far this year 55. Not a good stat. Injuries, poor tackling, and age has us -not a very good defense to get behind.The best we can hope for is Paea, Peanut, and Anderson get healthy and we keep getting turnovers.

The good thing- we are still finding ways to win The bad thing- our defense line is in shambles and we simply need Paea to be healthy and we need to find another DT, and we still wont be good but not so bad awful. As long as the offense keeps getting better, and our defense can keep getting some turnovers, were going to continue to have close games, but maybe we still find a way to win most of them. At 4-2 we still have time to correct some of our problems. DT spot is one we will have to live with.

Angelo was simply bad at drafting, name me one first round draft pick that has made an impact for us? You go back to 2003?, that is about 50 draft picks, I would say that is considered bad. He did bring in some big names that he paid thru the nose for , but that is because his drafts picks were over all not very good.

Making one positive comment and 4 negative comments doesnt make you different. You make some good comments on here and say some stupid stuff, I acknowledge you when you say something good and make a comment when you say something stupid. I still think that is possible but with our DT problems, that could change all of that . Without the interior defensive push our DEs arent as effective. Our defense backs get hung out to dry, it is not good. The Browns were originally shopping everybody, but since they have went 3-0 since getting rid of TRich, I dont think that is happening anymore. If we are going to trade for anybody it wont be another WR. Of course we could use a speedy WR but way to many other weak spots for a team to even give WR a second thought. They traded for another first rounder to put themselves in the position to get a franchise QB in the draft. Trading for a 3rd pick doesnt make any sense anymore.

We get Collins news pretty soon, and he was playing well before he got hurt. Melton is gone, Paea was out, this just doesn't add up to a good situation. Not much you can do when you have poor depth at the DT position, and that affects the poor defensive playy.

I think the jury is still out for SMC, but am hopeful he turns out positive. I think the possibility exists that next year and beyond we may end up changing to a 3-4. We would need to draft a couple of NTs but I think we have enough depth at LB to be able to play that scheme in the future. I can see Anderson, Greene, SMC, Washington, and fit DJ and Briggs in there somewhere and make that all be better than where we are at right now with all the injuries. I think Wooten, and Peppers(if we keep him) can play the end position. Just throwing out some food for thought after 2 straight losses and just thinking out loud.

I am a sports fan, but the only team I rout for that puts me in a good mood (with a win ) or bad mood (with a loss) are the Bears. I dont really understand it, but I am always hopeful that we win even when the odds arent good for us. That makes me an optimistic Bears fan. I didnt put any money on the game, I know NO is a good team, but that didnt detract from me wanting the Bears to win, I am not sure why any Bear fan questions that attitude towards a game. I can always say, I dont think we can win, and be right most of the time, but there is no fun in being right when my team loses.

I think a better team beat us today and was out coached. What does that make us? We still have a shot at playoffs, other teams that were suppose to be good, arent playing well either. I thought we would be 10-6 or 9-7, some where in there, and I still think that. If we beat the bad teams, and improve as a team, that is all I am hopeful for. If you look at our schedule we should still win 7 games which would put us in a good position. It is all about IF we improve as a team and see where that takes us.

It is just his nature , unless you throw to him all the time, he will feel slighted. that is one of the characteristics of his mental disorder. We have matchups problems all over the field with there weapons, but what we can do now is potenially keep up with other teams with scoring. Everybody knows what the Saints will do, who there weapons are, but I think where the insight comes in to play with Kromer is he knows the weakness of the Oline and maybe we can exploit that. The problem is other than Peppers our defensive line is undersized,thats why we still keep getting beat up by the run. Wooten is just too small to play lots of reps at DT. Trades are tough to do in mid season especially this early. Most people will wait on there expectations and by then it will be to late to trade someone.
