One game is to of a small sample to judge a whole season. It will have its bumps in the road, but entertaining for now.

The Bears might not have won? Go thru and pick most games and there is always something, that if went the other way, could change the outcome. We played lousy the first half, but came back from 11 down to beat a very good team. I just cant find the negative attitude worthy of our first victory.

Small sample size, but lots of upside here, could turn into a strength. One year and we actually put a good line together, so much for the old regime.

Thats a tough hand to draw to, but lets just hope they play well.

Since Cutler has gotten here, were are 5-22 in games we were losing after 3 quarters, but today were 1-0 with Trestman as coach, cudos to a new coach.

I think Williams best fits what they need right now, with consistency but Bostic will have the more play making ability and will eventually get the nod. Nice to have a couple of decent options for a change, instead of mediocre backups.

Before the games start to roll, I would just like to say, I really like what Emery is doing. He looks like he had a really good draft this year with 10 rookies finding spots on the team. Last years draft is still a big question mark, but with Lovie still around I suspect he influenced the draft quite a bit. If we get more contribute out of the ones left from that draft, it will be considered an decent draft.He is remaking the roster, and not afraid to get rid of people he drafted if they dont cut it. With DeAngelo, he would just hang on to them because he kept trying to prove there valve. He didnt jack with a defense although being old, is still productive, with adding some new blood. Trestman is a breath of fresh air compared to the way lovie did things. I guarantee no more delay of game penalties,wasted timeouts and bad decisions all around. I dont know how successful this team will be going forward but it sure has me enthusiastic with the prospects of us becoming a very good team. We're all here because of the beloved Bears and I think our future looks bright, there will be some bumps along the way, but lets remain positive and keep the soothsayers at bay. We have a lot of smart people on this site, and it is one of my favorite places to visit. Along the way everybody, but maybe Mad, says something stupid and then them heated debates get started. We are all opinionated and thats what makes this site interesting. If it was rose gardens and Barbie dolls, I wouldnt be here. Alot of things I say is meant to be humorous (doesnt always succeed at that) and will get misconstrued,most is not said with malicious, but I have been a jerk a few times on here. For that I apologize. It is just human nature that when name calling starts you say something stupid. I have jumped in on hot topics without lining my facts and said somethimh that has looked dumb, but willing to admit that. I have had heated debates with many on here, but when they have made a good post,I have given them a pat on the back. I will never condemn the board because most dont agree with me, I like it here, and if I tell you this is my last post, you wont see me again. Let the games start.

On offense, I would like to see continuity, where the offense runs smooth. There playing a very good defense, so this will be a hard game to measure the success of the whole season. A few big plays, no turnovers and Cutler making good decisions, would go along way to giving me confidence we going in the right direction. I would like to think, we come out look great and whip the Bengals but with everything so new, I think it will take 3 or 4 games before were running wild on the field. Defense will look good, get a few turnovers, and let the MLB spot take care of itself, hope the passrush is there.

Actually I think we should have gotten more money back from Bennetts production.

The problem with SCS is he thinks he is smarter than most of us and cant let it go that he had a poor argument for a debate, he kept trying to find support for his side, after everything has passed, Emery makes a politically correct statement , so he comes back to try to convince us again of what? Take a look back at his posts, he commended people and the board for no class, yet he showed none, he was just a whiney little bitch that lost his way, and went away to pout. I read where a Trib reporter stated that Scott's locker still had his stuff in it. I think he may be back in a week or two, when able to contribute. AZ was right, just a roster juggle.

I think we win like 18-17 on a late FG off of a turnover. this will be a good measuring stick on the quality of the team.

Actually its not his fault, its our fault for finding his opinion stupid and responding to it. The facts are the guy got cut and will be out of the league very soon. I think your right, they will bring back Scott, I dont think they will be a big demand for him, this is just for one or two weeks and Adams will be leaving again.
