What you dont know about me is, I am able to completely humiliate myself, and not even break stride. What is the proposal?
-
The problem is if we bring in back at a reasonable price, we still have to draft a replacement, because he will not play 16 games. His body wont let him.
-
Urlacher was not above average last year. It would be hard to make the case, average. Since most people on here are into stats, I think he was the 45th best rated LB in the league last year. I am not sure 45 is the spot, but will have time to look it up later. He wasnt good.
-
Im all in, tell me what you have in mind.
-
He is a FA , he is no longer here, he doesnt matter.
-
Your right on, I think he lost a step, lost his confidence and doesnt have passion for the game anymore. Take the 2.4mil and buy someone that wants to play. For 2.4 we can get someone decent that can play, or roll the dice and make excuses for why he is still here. Deal with it, it doesnt have it anymore.

If we were a team with cap space, they would all be gone. We went from 32 nd to the 30th rated OL. LTs get drafted higher and get paid more, and there is a reason for that. Woulda coulda shoulda, we cant continue playing Russian roulette, you eventually lose the game. They cant fix all the problems in one year. SO- they have said they wanted Scott back as a swing tackle, wanted Louis back(injury ?). With Carmi here they probably have faith in him to be a lot better this year over last, due to his injury and not playing strong. So that tells me They expect Carmi to play RT, Louis to be the RG. Garza is at OC (diminishing returns). So we need a LT and LG. The probably exists we get the LG in the draft, so we need to find a LT somewhere. Hopefully we can find him in FAgency, if not, grab any players that upgrade the OLine and we try to work it out. Webb may be back , but cant be our first choice at that position, that tells us, we have the same mentality as last year and that wouldnt be good.
-
If we can anybody that is an upgrade we need to do it. I think they are dumping him for money reasons and the fact Alberts doesn't want to play OG. They plan to put him at RT.
-
Winston was released today by KC. He didnt play well last year, but was one of the better RTs two years ago in Houston. May be able to add him for a reasonable price.
-
Whether he had good blocking or not, he doesnt look instinctive anymore. We cant play Lovie and keep hanging on to players that dont have it anymore. We have a fresh start so save his cap money, you dont pay a KR,PR 2.4 mil, and find someone new, a rookie that will make 550,000 this year.
-
He is just back peddling from talking stupid when Lovie got fired. The Bears are that stupid to give him an extension. Maybe tear up the old one and give him the vet min.
-
Spencer is a FA

Lots of people have opinions, we will have to see who is right in the end. If they spend 8 mil it won't be a OG.

Maybe not "really really good" but good? Yes. Those numbers I posted can confirm that....I don't wanna say he's as good as or better than Albert because that just sounds dirty but those numbers are there. Alberts 09 year, the year the article was touting, he was 25. Webb last year was 24. It was also Alberts 2nd year at LT. So once again if his pressures stay around the same he'll have produced better totals at nearly the same age and the same year at LT....His penalty total could also be better and to elaborate on the last numbers I threw out there for his 3 year total of penalties, Albert had 6 in 13 games. Webb? 7 in 16. Once again it just sounds dirty to say he's better than Albert so I'm not gonna say that, but if continues to play like he did this year I do believe he very well could be on par with him. Does this bring any memories back.

I have never put any words in your mouth, go back and read all my posts. Here is something you mentioned in one of your posts from a few days ago.(Maybe not "really really good" but good? Yes. Th) Those words came from your post.

Levitre will cost more than any of these TEs so there wont be a choice between the two. We will not be signing a 7 to 8 mil OG in FAgency. Cook will get 5 to 6, Davis and Bennett will be around 4.
-
Everytime someone mentions another possibility at OT you come up with the same old Webb shit, so if you think you are annoyed then you will understand why we get annoyed with you. This is my last response to your Webb crab. Its like a chatty Kathy Doll, just keep pulling the sting and the same crap comes out of your mouth.
-
I hope we put him back at TE, but still think we need a bigger target to get down field. We need to get one in FAgency or draft.
-
Your probably right, I dont remember you saying he was good, but with your support for him, I get the impression you think he is. I need to refer to AZ54 post and quit commenting on yours, he put it best.

We have Kellen Davis Matt Spaeth Brody Eldridge Kyle Adams Ben Onobun under contract for 2013. So if we cut Davis and Spaeth that gives us app. 3.9 mil in cap relief. I dont know if the others on the roster have valve but would suppose one will stay for depth. All three wont cost anything if we cut them. Our options in FAgency(not all but ones that may apply) Jared Cook, a good option but will probably cost 5 to 6 mil a year.(only a couple more than we are paying Kellen and Matt)(if we cut them) Kellen Davis, has had some injury issues but has shown he can be a good option at TE. He started becoming reverent when Farve was in NY. Heath Miller, a little older but can catch, a team leader and big red zone threat. Fred Davis, some injury concerns but will probably cost to much for the risk. Brandon Myers, a breakout year, can probably be bought at a reasonable price, but not a good blocker. Martellus Bennett, a good blocker and good pass catcher, may be gotten at a reasonable price. Delanie Walker, has some talent, and may be bought for a song, might be worth a look. In the draft Eifert/ND he will have to be taken in the first round to get him, I dont think we go that route with the first pick. Ertz/Stan he will be a 2nd round pick, and possibly will be there at our 2nd pick. McDonald he will be there at our 2nd pick, I think he will be over valved because of the combine, but if he feel to 4 maybe. Kelce he will be there at 2 but not sure he will be worth that pick, may reach our 4th pick, but doubt it. Escobar because of a poor speed, may drop to our 4th pick, has great hands. Toilolo possible 5 th round slection which would be a project. Fauria good production, but not a very good blocker, needs a lot of work. So what do we do. I think if we grab a Myers or Walker in FAgency and then draft a 4th round project, we will upgrade the position. Possible Escobar, or Toilolo, but would prefer Kelce.

It doesnt state that information, but I would say roster for the regular season.
-
there is a 100,000 roster bonus, 2.4 sal and 1.375 mi. signing bonus that will turn into dead cap if we cut him.
-
You are RIGHT again, we traded for him and that is the contract we assumed. I can see with you around I am going to have to research all comments before I make them. No room for casual statements on here.

Its listed on Bears contracts(Rotoworld), I dont do a lot of investigation on lower end of the roster players.
