  1. Its just another element to add to an arsenal. You send the speed deep to open u
  2. At 4.5 doesnt seem to be the speed WR we are looking for.
  3. I havent checked out the WR and maybe would like another, but you are right on about being time to fix the OL. I think our two LBs we got in FAgency could be around for at least a few years. I also think they will be drafting a QB prospect.
  4. I looked for info and couldnt find any, what are your sources. I think some of those tackle prospects come end up being guards.
  5. In two years our top 3 CBs will be gone, so we definitively need to start building with the youth now.
  6. Robert Alford - CB - Southeastern Louisiana (PW) Terron Armstead - OT -Arkansas Pine-Bluff (EW/PD) Tavon Austin - WR - West Virginia (PD) Alan Baxter - DE - Northern Illinois (PD) Arthur Brown - LB - Kansas State (PD/PW) Both pro day and private workout ( I would say a big interest) Terrell Brown - OT - Mississippi (PD) Brice Butler - WR - San Diego State (PD) Keenan Davis - WR - Iowa (PD) Jack Doyle - TE - Western Kentucky (PD) Zach Ertz - TE - Stanford (CO) Josh Evans - S - Florida (EW) Matt Evans - LB - New Hampshire (EW) D.J. Fluker - OT - Alabama (CO) Reid Fragel - OT - Ohio State (PD/PW) both meeting here too, a mid round pick Johnathan Franklin - RB - UCLA (SB) Mitchell Gale - QB - Abilene Christian (PD/PW) From what I seen of him, he will be a UDFA Tyrone Goard - WR - Eastern Kentucky (EW) Zaviar Gooden - LB - Missouri (PD/PW) a mid to late round pick Cory Grissom - DT - South Florida (PD) Jeremy Harris - CB - New Mexico State (PW) Margus Hunt - DE - Southern Methodist (EW) Micah Hyde - CB - Iowa (PD) Wade Jacobson - OG - Washington State (PD) Josh Jarboe - WR - Arkansas State (PD) Stefphon Jefferson - RB - Nevada (COM/PD) Lane Johnson - OT - Oklahoma (CO/PD) Rufus Johnson - DE - Tarleton State (?) Terren Jones - OT - Alabama State (PD) Nick Kasa - TE - Colorado (?) Wilcox - S - Georgia Southern (PD) Brandon Williams - DT - Missouri Southern (SB) Tourek Williams - DE - Florida International (PD) Chris Wright - WR - Eastern Illinois (PD) This the most complete list I have seen yet, and does it tell us anything? Conclusion: We seem to have a big interest in upper draft LBers. Mid round WRs, Mid round CBers, and mid round OTs. I think these positions will be our first 4 picks.
  7. I read somewhere, that we had a private workout with Ogletree.
  8. Funny guy, I predict he will get a sack this year and you will notice him.
  9. I didnt hear anything about McC last year when we made him our first pick.
  10. Actually Slausson played LG but has the ability to play both. I still see us drafting a RG prospect in the first three picks. We cant be done rebuilding our OLine. I actually see us grabbing a center and moving Garza back to RG where he started out.
  11. So how come your the only person I hear saying he was good? And you said(wasnt bad at RG) is the same as saying he was good at it. I looked up the word (turrable) and couldnt find that in the dictionary. Could you tell me what that word means?
  12. There just checking out all of our options. If we were going to pick everybody somebody said we were interested in, we would need 20 draft picks.
  13. You keep using arguments on players where they go from terrible to being bad, is a good thing . Our OLine was still one of the worst in the league according to the GREAT PFF. THE only lineman that played descent isn't here anymore.
  14. I think with the value of QBs these days several teams need a QB, and there value isnt there early in the draft but could move up to get ahead of there competition to grab a QB later in the first. Cele, Buff, Jacksonville, and Oakland all have a stake in getting a upgrade at QB. I also think Arizona could grab one even with Palmer there. With the 20th pick there is a chance a player with a greater value could slide and someone with extra picks, Miami, SF, or Balt could want them bad enough to move up.
  15. I just read we had a in house visit with Te'o, stick a revolver in my mouth. Actually its not that bad, but I prefer different LBers before we get to him.
  16. Thats what I thought, I remember with all the discussions before, that I didnt think you were able to go over all the Bear games. I think if someone breaks down tape they can have a better input in to a one player is better than another discussion, but small sample size isnt enough to make a rational judgement. I recorded all the Bear games last year and did concentrated on the OL and in general it wasnt very pretty. Last year has passed and lets hope for better results this year from some different players.
  17. We cant ever have a Webb is a better LT again, because he doesnt play that position any more, so any discussions comparing one player to another player is pointless.
  18. So your saying your watched every Bear game and New Orleans game last year?
  19. So what now were back on the Webb thing again? We moved on from Webb as our LT, lets hope he can improve enough to play RT and everybody will be happy.
  20. Why are we watching this? The Bears plotted to make Webb and Carmi fail? Sometimes in the NFL teams actually need players make one on one blocks. Different schemes use different blocking formations. You cant always double team every player on defense, sometimes you actually have to make a block.
  21. There is only a few teams with multi picks in the second. Miami, SF and Cinn. Of them the only I see making a trade to move up is SF. They have a ton of picks and will easily not offer 2 2s. Very few will make there roster, and keeping the picks at the upper end of the draft will be paramount.
  22. Your quite funny today, you need to be more like this than the negative poster were accustom to . One thing we have always agreed on was the OL upgrade as being the most important.
  23. Its quite clever of you, but in a way it is sad, because I totally agree with Emery had Lovie in his ear last year.
  24. Well if the Bears trade down and we would rather have a player they could have had at 20, doesnt that give us a different option? Or do we only pick with whatever the Bears picks are?
