  1. Experts dont do very well at this, but we can try and I put a team on.
  2. We are contending for the playoffs right now, but because of our depth, one injury to a key player could take us from that. We have to have another option at OT.Webb hasnt arrived yet and if Williams was a clear talent, he wouldnt be bounced around so much. People talk about how good he looked at playing LG before being hurt. He played average, and to be drafted as a first round LT thats not a good thing. If he was so good, they would have put him at RT when Carmi good hurt. Louis playing RT with the able bodied Williams on the roster, that speaks volumes. He is an ok guard, not a very good tackle or he would have been playing there with Webb the starter. WE need another quality OL preferable a OT and let the cards roll as they may. Another WR in one of the first 4 rounds and two DL and we may be a lot better.

    Decent read

First you would definitily have to consider Floyd, but he wont be there at 19, so end of that conversation Jones wont be a first round pick, so maybe taking him in the second is possible. the others do fit if drafted in the later rounds.
  4. If you take a chance if has to be after the 3rd round and with no other good players to choose from.
  5. You are right it is stupid, it bothers me that you make statements and stick to it when you are wrong and actually it is the cap space one that bothers me. You state it was proved to be right when you give nothing more than I told you so as a back lash and give no support to your statement. I will tonignt after work give you a detailed list of what money we spend and show you you were wrong, but then you will say, who says that source is correct. Give a little support to your arguement and I will be glad to admit I was wrong, but I am sure facts with not be good enough for you. You actually have a lot of good input in these blogs, but not all do you support you statements, and I need to give more support to mine as I will tonight when I give you our money spent list.
  6. I dont think there freeing up any money, I believe there are spending more money.I am wondering if this extension has anything to do with Urlachers knee problem, might be more than a short term problem, and they think of him not being here pass this year and dont want to have possilby two stars being gone in a trasistion period.
  7. I dont see us drafting a WR at 19, but wouldnt be upset if they did draft Wright, he is consistently listed as the 3rd best WR in the draft and would fit well with Marshall. Also I think they should consider McClellin at a DE. He is a productive high motor guy and I think he could play DE but most list him at OLB. He probably is a 2nd round type of pick.
  8. I agree and at least he seems to have a plan. I dont think you can fill all of your needs in one year, but think with a good draft he would make a big dent.
  9. I have always agreed with you on the importance of a quality LT, so in your opinion, who is worth that draft spot at 19, and would be worth that spot in the second round? I think from our draft spot Reiff, could fall, Adams and Martin could be there. So I think all three will be LTs in the NFL and could play at a high level. I also think Glenn should be considered, but everyone is projecting him to a OG, but think the possiblity exists to play LT. In the second round I think Massey could be considered and could be groomed into a starting LT that would upgrade our team. In the 3rd round I think J. Allen could be considered and possibly be played at LT., but probably not his first year.
  10. Here up to this date either already have visited or have them coming in(draft prospects we have looked at) WRs Wright and Randle Wright would be with the first round, Randle would probably be figured to be taken in the second CBs Tandy and T. Johnson Tandy would probably be UFA, and T. Johnson a 2nd or 3rd round pick LBs Z. Brown, D. Fleming,B. Irwin(will be a DE) Brown a 3rd round pick, Fleming 4th or 5th round, and Irwin a 2nd or 3rd pick. DL T Fuggar(DE) C. Jones(DE) Fuggar as a UFA and Jones a 3rd rounder OL OT Stephenson OG Leary both would be UFAs TE A. Robinson late round or UFA Information came from PFT
  11. If they looking to add depth, that probably tells us , they wont be going first round with a OT. Althought at the min. he could take Horns roster spot and they still draft a high pick at OL.
  12. Most of the best OTs were taken in the first round. There is exceptions to that rule, but the better players are higher picks.I would just like a Tait type of player, better than average, doesnt have to be elite.
  13. They didnt say why in the article I read, but they said he was a putz off the field.
  14. I think he will be there and I agree they should consider him.
  15. I think we draft DE,OL,DT in that order. We are not sure how they look at the weaknesses of the team. If they deem OL a weakness, they go there first, DL, thats our stop. They have filled holes so far, so we will know in 15 days.
  16. They would never even consider that. They are going to give Wooten one more chance and will try to fill other needs. They will definitly draft one in first two rounds.
  17. The point is you irritate me. You make comments( and I am not saying all your comments are bad ones) you stick with one and no matter how far its off, you never change your stance. I tried to show you many different opinions about Kirkpatrick not being the BPA when you list others at less valve that have a better grade but are a need.I gave you something else to look at, but I dont have any content to my responses. You were way off base and you still stick with that stupid( the cap figures were right) thats why you irritate me.
  18. I think maybe instead of using one website you should look at many and determine your opinion, but thats not you, I forgot you were the one stuck on the 46 mil figure for the cap space, and didnt listen to what anyone else had to say. How did that work out for you when the actual figures came in.
  19. NFP has him listed at the 11 BP with a 7.5 grade, also listed with a 7.5 grade are Coples, and Ingram. PFW has him listed as the 23rd best player. also listed a head of him are Reiff, Ingram,Coples,Cox,Brockers,Glenn,Adams, Poe (players at a need position) GBND has him listed at the 18th best player, ahead of him in positions of need, Reiff, Ingram, Coples, Cox, Brockers Walters football has him listed as the 13th best player, ahead of him in positions of need Reiff, Ingram, Coples OurLads has him being drafted 23rd, not having a big board listing Draft tek has him listed as the 27th best player, ahead of him 10 players at DE,DT,LT NFL.com has him list at the 11th best player, ahead of him are Ingram, Coples, and Reiff. The point I am trying to make is he is probably not the BPA at 19 , several other players will be ahead of him at a position of need. I think he is a special player but we wont be drafting him. Also I cant find where NFL.com says he is a better player than Claiborne, just checked the website.
  20. Any takers for a FS still young, got size, but seems to be a putz off the field. New lease on life, Lovie can have him move in with him and babysit. 56 games-56 starts-10 inter-31 PDF-one sack-324 tackles.that is 6 per game, and the best part will be gotten cheap. Considering the lack of talent at the position in the draft, we should take a look. I think our DC was there when he was drafted-2007.
  21. He could be a very special player, but dont think the Bears will draft a CB with the first round pick. Our depth is OK now at CB, as someone else pointed out it is not the key positions this defense covets. I think they can find in 3rd or 4th round CBs that could start in our defense. They will bring in an impact player at a position of greater need, DE,DT,LT if one is there before CB.
  22. I agree other than the DEs need to generate a pass rush. I think with Urlacher playing at a high level we dont go there, unless Kuechly drops. Free saftey, there isnt any of valve for the first two rounds so we wont go there. DT is a great possiblity with several being there at 19. DE will definity be addressed and probably with the first round depending on how the draft falls.
  23. I dont think OG is our target, but if DeCastro is there, you have to take him. Maybe if Glenn is there that is the best option, will have to see how the draft falls.
  24. I dont think the OL class and DE class are considered bad. With all the information we have there are 7 OLs that have a first round grade. NFP(which I like) has 8 OLs being drafted in the first round. It may not be great, but bad doesnt apply. According to NFP they have 7 DEs in the top 64 players. Also there mock draft shows 4 being drafted. Define the term bad? Bad for me would be safety, only 2 listed in the top 64 players. Only one will be drafted in the first two rounds.
  25. I am not saying I would want him gone, but if he wants the 30 for a three year contract, no way I would pay that. I think a resonable contract with incentives would work, but the Bears wont offer him a one year-5 mil deal, He aint worth or deserves(respect) at a big contract.
