  1. You are absoulutely on top of it.
  2. Wallace wants 10 mil a year, where do we get the money for that. The 19th pick might be making 1.5 his first year.
  3. He would give us so much more than Barber.
  4. If Martin or Adams isnt there, going with a bluechip OG would be acceptable. You just cant ignore the line. It is the key to all we have to do going forward offensively. We were 7-3 but we ended up 8-8, that what we need to look at. we have enough in the mix to get by inside, it is hard to hide the outside positions without chip help. Now is the time to fix it. We still need WRs but not at the expense of fixing the OL.
  5. Floyd wont be there and Hill is not a good pick at 19, the rest of the draft would be doable.
  6. The panic comes into play, because if we retry what we have already done, then what? We need a couple of options if it doesnt work. First we need a LT and the first round is the one place to find it. You can find WRs any where on the board. OGs and OCs you can later in the draft. We need to bulid our offense while we have blue chip players in place. Cutler, Forte, and now Marshall.
  7. I have read that Lovie has visited Georgia to see Hill early in the month and now reads he went to see Bruce Irwin/DE/West Virgina. Is there any other players anybody knows we have got to together with.
  8. The second round will rarely give you a player you can get at 19. I seriously think someone like Coples will drop to where we will be surprized by our pick.
  9. I would say so far he has passed the test, we will know more by training camp to judge him.
  10. If we stick with that lineup, we need to bring in at least two Ols, so we have some options if they fail again. A guard and a tackle.
  11. You did your homework except for 2010. They moved him to LG because he was versatile? The most important spot on the line is LT, and that was the heavy sake year. Garza never player LG, he has always been the RG. Look it up.
  12. He has got some WRs in Denver and I can them signing Dallas Clark. They defense was halfway decent last year and I can see them being pretty good.

    If WE

The problem with the first round WR, there are only two that are considered valve picks at 19. Blackmon and Floyd, the rest are end of first round or 2nd round choices. We need an impact player at that spot, I dont think Hill will have a impact his first year,he may grow down the road, but who ever we take there needs to start right away, whether OT, CB, DE, or WR. I have been saying from day one we need three new WRs, I just think we need to be smart with there addition. I dont think taking A 40th rated player that might take time to develope gives us any impact moving forward. Having said that I think Hill or Randle or Wright in the second round would be a good addition, but at the first round spot, they will be an impact player there we just need to take him whether any of our spots of need.
  14. The people they resigned or the lesser players on the team are needs just as much as higher profile players. If you look at our roster we have a ton of spots to fill, not just a couple new starters. I think they are waiting to sign players they can get at there price. Herrera, Hayden, Bush, they are not impact players but will upgrade our roster. Because they havent did it yet doesnt mean they arent going to. I dont think they have large amounts of money left so they need to be valve oriented. We just need to wait and see.
  15. How can you say he hasnt had a shot? It was his position to lose and he kept losing it. Look at the production of the line the last two years, we say that they got better. They sucked in trying to protect Cutler. We move a 7th round pick into his spot because the guy has potenial? We play a guard at RT instead of move him over to the right side. This is not his second year and lets see what we got thing going on. He was suppose to move into the LT spot and stay there 10 years. I think we have given him to many chances and he has failed but not Omilaye failed but lets try again. I think we need to try something new. We can no longer keep trying to retread tires, we need new ones. Cutler gets beat up one more year and he may be wreaked for life, we cant take that chance anymore.
  16. That is a big payday for his talent.
  17. I think he has it figured out , we just dont have it known to us yet. I pray he addresses the OL in both areas.

    If WE

They were higher picks and no one this year has there upside, and that includes Blackmom.

    If WE

I just noticed A. J. Jenkins/WR/ILL was available when I picked Adams so I change that 3rd round pick

    If WE

If we dont sign anyone else but some backup roster spots, what is your draft (the first five spots) Mine is; We still need a LT, DE, CB,WR (so to make the best impact as we are constructed right now)(Walters mock draft for the topic) #1 Adams/LT/OSU He is the highest rated player on the board in our area of needs. #2 McClellin/DE/BS He was a DE in college, but most see him as an OLB, I think he stays at DE and can rush the QB #3 Joe Adams/WR/ARK He is a speed guy at 5'11" 190, can be a deep threat(Marshall as PWR)(Knox will be done and takes his spot on roster) #4 Judie/CB/ Tex AM The best of the corners left at this point. #5 Cole/OLB/NCS Will eventually be Briggs replacement
  21. I agree a couple of impact players would seem to me, a better way to go, but this is his team and I will wait to see what the whole offseason brings before I sit in judgement. He got us a WR and good backup QBs. We have two many spots to fill where he had to bring back guys to add the depth.I still think we need to do something to upgrade the line, add a second tier WR, Bush would be a good addition. I wil hold judgement until he is done with everything and see what we got. So far he gets a C+.
  22. We should always consider good football players, I think they can find it out, as to where to play them. Doesnt matter he signed somewhere else.
  23. I dont consider any of them three as smurfs. 5'11", 6',6' are generally not considered that. Weems, 5'9" thats a smurf. What we need is someone that streches the field, of which Hill could do that. I think Hill would be a good pick but not at 19. He will take time to develope and we need more of an impact right away.I would prefer Wright if Floyd is not available at that spot. The problem is I think someone of more of an impact will be there ,not a WR.
  24. That is a good reason to not do that.
  25. They need to take the BPA at our positions at need, that is the only way we get better. OL, DE, CB,WR in that order. We shouldnt reach for any position but if you have the 25th rated player like Glenn/OG there or the 28th rated player Mercilus/DE there that is a close call as to who pickup. I think someone we dont expect will drop down to our spot and will have a suprize name there.
