I think they have a plan and it is a 6th round pick or PFA and develop him over the next two years. TA-DA a starter for 10 years, just dont know his name yet.
  2. I think they will still bring in another FA and draft one there. Some one like Stevie Brown.
  3. With them signing Montgomery at 32, I would say he is a stop gap and will definitely draft a center this year.
  4. Good man and good player until the last few years, goodbye and thanks for working cheap.
  5. I agree with the trade down, and still grab a WR, Parker should be there before 14.
  6. I think I read he was looking for 4 mil a year. That's not a bargain price, but I would say we should do it, and let him rehab and bring him along slowly. Garza can be our bridge to a better center.
  7. I think the BPA will be one of the two WRs, OT and pass rushers. At 7 we have choices so we need to take the best player.

We have lots of needs, the most important thing is to get the best player. Cooper is compared to Julio Jones, if JJ was there at 7 would you take him?
  9. Yea no shit.
  10. That's a good point I never gave thought too.
  11. I think if we cant sign Wisniewski at center we may sign De La Puente.
  12. I think this is a statement by the Bears saying we dont think much of the talent as the LB position that we have on the team. He isnt special but has experience in the 3-4 and gives us depth, considering Young and Houston are coming off of injuries.
  13. Here,IMO, is a good breakdown of our roster and spots people play at. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Fhd...qQjQ/edit#gid=0
  14. One thing I have to say about this new regime is they sure do keep things quiet. Most signing were not expected.
  15. did you watch our defense the last two years, Im all in on people that can play.If some get to do that this year that would be a good thing, if not, then they just didnt cut it.
  16. What there doing is throwing darts at the dart board , some with stick and some will be cut. This is what Seattle did its first year, lots of signing and then sorted it out.
  17. Just look at the two DEs they signed 6-3 290 and 6-4 315. Thats what fits Fangio and they attack with the 4 LBs.
  18. I would have to take Wash hands down.
  19. That tells you they think he is a starter, if no money guaranteed, you could give him 10 mil and still cut him.
  20. Lets say Beasley and Cooper are on the board at 7, who do you pick? I think Cooper will be an elite player, not sure about Beasley.
  21. If Young and Allen play our defense ends, our rush defense will look as bad as last year. 251 and 270 do not fit Fangio's 3-4 . He lists his three spots as LDT-NT-RDT . The purpose of the ends is to take on blockers and be strong against the run. Your off base with you opinion on this. Fox stated Young,Allen and Houston will be OLBs. I dont think he's trying to fool anybody.,
  22. I think Houston will end up at end, but the others have OLB bodies. I suspect in rush defense, Allen might play end. With the new guys, I say we have 3 with Houston who they said was an OLB. Last year I read where he played at 265, so depending on what they want out of him, will determine his weight. I would say we need 2 more, unless they think one of those others actually can play end.
  23. He's OK but is just a guy, there will still probably use a pick on one after round 4. Nobody special, but can catch the ball for sure.
  24. One spot we are short on players is DE and we need to address that position in the draft more than once in 6th, otherwise like the names. I joined the Fanspeak and its lots of fun, which big board do you use? I have been using MattMiller

I agree, you take the BPA and that probably will be one of the two WRs. You dont bank on Wilson to take off when a stud WR can add so much.
