We have to see what they do, there was no where that suggested we were targeting McPhee, and he will be here now. Most rumors are speculation.

What their doing is getting rid of a lousy contract, its not like they have a plan for another QB right now. They will maybe take a flyer on Locker or some putz, the key is to get the team better(12 mil in cap). Rebuild the rest of the team, bring in a drafted QB and try to develop. It could be 2 or 3 years before we get the right guy, but you have to move forward to build the team and hope something comes up that works at QB. Like I said before, we arent tanking but next year is not a run at the playoffs. Its a 2 to 3 year plan to get good and stay good.

Would they acquire Kap and cut Cutler? Since Pace knows the QB is the most important position on the field, may be trying to be creative. Why would SF do that? There is still not many options out there for a starting QB.

They say this is a lousy QB class, but why cant some prospects be developed? Under the right circumstances, could develop into a starting NFL QB? only the football Gods know for sure.

How can you confirm that ? I could have easily stated the day we signed Fangio, that with Fox history, Knighton was our guy. With the Raiders having a lot of money and Del Rio, I would say we wont win a price war.

With Pace being so tight lipped, Im not sure you can trust anything you read. A lot of rumors are media injecting their opinion into the rumor.
