I have read they are looking at other LBers in FAgency, of which there isnt much to select from. Anybody know much about Wheeler that played in Oak last year?

The problem is any decision you make has risk. I think we are better off finding our LT in FAgency(less risky) and drafting a stud OG in the draft, there should be one there at 20. Cooper is a top 15 rated player and would start from day one.I would love Warmack but he wont be there. Also the thought of moving down and getting an extra pick and then taking Jones or Warford would work well too. I think we definitely need to address the Oline early waiting until our second pick to get one of those three OGs are the chance none of them are there, and the next tier of OLine are a drop off, then were back to waiting until they develope.

Johnson is not a project, he is a legit 1st round, that will need to stronger, but you can say that about most linemen getting drafted. He will play his first year, and improve each year. He will be a good NFL player.

There is a real good chance the LT Johnson will be gone, then we need to take Johnathon Cooper who will still be available. I hope we get Bushrod so we dont have to go with a 2nd LT because he wont be a day one starter. We need to get two OLs this off season, and a guard will do find. Taking Barrett Jones would be a reach at 20, so hopefully Cooper will still be there.

I heard last year because of his injury, it limited his off season workouts. Hopefully he gets his shit together this off season. Thats why we need to resign Scott and then let Carmi take his job away. We just have to have options if people we have dont get better. I also think Brown with the off season can pick it up.

I agree with you after the Senior bowl he is moving up draft boards maybe the 4th now.

The hoaxer that started this(and Teo took it and ran) will be interviewed by Dr. Phil(throwup) on thursday and friday. I am sure he is now taking total responsibility for everything. Teo has a big payday coming and is deflecting some of Teos responsibility for some cash under the table. I believe this is just getting deeper on trying to make Teo look like the innocent victim. If we idenify a good OL in the first round, we just need to take him. Most all good LTs in the league were 1st round picks. Sure there is a lot of misses, but that is still the best way to get them.

I dont think Reddick will be there in the 4th, although I like him. Also why do you think Johnson will take time to develope? He is the same size as the top 2 LTs in draft. They all need to get stronger, but he has the chacteristics to play LT in the league, I think he can start day one and will get better every year.

There is a lot of information out there about this, I think everybody here should READ everything they can about this. Reading one or two articles and believing that thats the true situation is ludicrous.I dont think he is disgusting person, but just kind of a low life. I have read tons of stuff and it still has to be sorting out what is true and what isnt. I think he was duped and then used it to his advantage, with a lot twists and turns. He didnt kill anybody, but still will not be vindicated for this.He has responsiblities to take control of, truth goes along way and would probably not be so outspoken on this but dislike people reading Teos side of this and thinking just no big deal and jump to protect him. It probably is best to let it takes its course and then we can all butt heads again later.

as a one year review they could keep the d grade, but next that could go up to a b grade with Evan playing TE, smc having 7 sacks and Hardin staying healthy. Jeffery will eventually be a #2 but may be one year away from that.

Havent given up on him, but we cant keep trying to redo our Oline with the same bodies. Our OLine with have two new guys with Garza at center. Brown, Carmi,Webb, Louis and Scott will be around to help formulate a new line. Brown may very well be able to take the step up and start at LG, but we dont know that yet. Carmi may be able to get stronger this off season without having to deal with an injury and be able to start fresh with a new line coach. So here is what I see happening, which this tread had a different flavor: I think we go after a LT in FAgency Bushrod hopefully, we draft a guard to add to the mix, and still add another draftee to the mix. We bring back Scott and Louis, Carmi and Webb still hang aroud, then Garza stays. so our line consists of LT (FA) Bushrod? or drafted LT Johnson? as of now he is not on our team. I think Webb becomes the swing tackle LG drafted player Warford, or hold over Brown. Spencer will be gone C Garza and a drafted or UDFA for the backup (Edwin Williams) still on team? RG Louis is resigned or maybe Carmi steps up RT Scott resigned or maybe Carmi takes his job back of whick Scott becomes the swing tackle and we let go of Webb. Our OL group Bushrod(hopefully)or drafted(LT Johnson) maybe , Scott(RT), swing tackle Webb? Garza for center, Brown or rookie starting at LG, LouisRG with Carmi in the mix. If Carmi comes back strong, think he will start at RT and then we cut Webb and Scott becomes swing tackle. E. Williams then hangs around as backup C and backup G.

You may be right. here are 4 sites I check out for draft info that I like; NFL draftcountdown, GBND, Walters and Draft Tex they have him rated 88,47,41 and 79. so I think it is possible he could be there. I think in the first round of the draft there will be a run on DE and OLB. with 6 OLs picked there the top of the 2nd round there will be a run on QBs,WRs, and some RBs so he will be there for us.

Lets say we pick up nobody in FAgency, then who should we draft. Our weaknesses are OL,OL,OL, TE, MLB. so lets do a draft. #1 Lane Johnson/OT/Oak A slight drop below the top 2 but worthy of a pick here, will not make it out of the first round. #2 Larry Warford/OG/Ken A load for a guard with a good pick at 2 #4 Travis Kelce/TE/Cinn A good pass catching TE #5 Jake Johnson/MLB/Sou Ala A highly productive small school player with speed and production that could be a steal drafted here. #6 David Bass/DE/MWS Another highly productive small school player, drafting this low, you take a chance Conclusion- we needed to up grade Left side of OL, two rookie starters there not desirable be would still be better than what we had. then we resign Louis and Scott for right side(our own FAs) a pass catching TE to go with Evan a MLB and DE to add to mix.

He uses that along with a lot of other information, dont think he relies on it like a Bible.

He will get a big paycheck but doubt in the likes of Thomas with his recent injuries.

I think his injuries affected his play a lot, so hard to read his stats for this year. Last year when he was healthy probably gives you a better evaluation.

I think he hired with the decision he liked his offensive line scheme with a little twiking

I think our ties,to Bushrod with the OC along with NO being in cap hell, is our best shot. Then we draft LG, and resign Louis And Scott. Webb and Carmi become backups.

We can always settle for less, might go after a better player first.
