Seattle runs a base 4-3 and NO run out of a 3-4 and if you watched both defenses they looked quite similar. There are all kinds of variations they can do with it. The problem is do we give him a 12 for 2 years contract and then he ends up not playing 4 to 8 games? The more you spend on him the less you have to get good backups or other positions. It is better to let a player go one year early than a year to late. Urlachers leadership was missed last year, but his play wouldnt have changed anything, his time was done. It isnt my money so I would take the chance and bring him back, but they have to figure the valve of it. They made the right call on Urlacher, so we will see if they make the right call here.

D. Ware for Dallas is set to make 16 mil this year and is signed thur 2017. Just a thought but is reported that Dallas wants him to take a paycut, and they have huge cap problems. So if he gets cut, should we go after him?

You have convinced me on the DL first and I also like Ealy for a 1st round pick. Impact DE are very few this year, not even sure if Ealy is that but he has the second highest potential of a DE in this draft. DTs are important but a little deeper in strength. I was routing for BPA with Mosley and still would not be mad about that pick, but we have to start up front, and you talked me into that. Kudos for that. No this is not a thread about SCS or AG, I am referring to players we dont want to see us draft. I dont wish to take the chance on Nix being a good player because of his injury history. It is hard to say how his pro career works out, tons of talent but we have drafted to many players in the past that never lost that injury tag and turned out crap. Also I obviously wouldnt like to see us draft any offensive players at least in the first two rounds. We have so many holes to fill, I actually wouldnt want to see any before the 5th round. Lets say Jake Mathews drops to our spot, a clear top 5 prospect everywhere. What do we do? If were going by BPA, I would say they would take him, but at 14 there still has to be some clear cut defensive studs on the board and have to go that way. What say you?

I am hopeful for that but not banking on SMC being a good player. He has the athletic traits, just not sure he can put it all together to be a productive player.
