  1. If we resign Louis that will go a long ways in telling us who they want at RG. Carmi is a wildcard, I think they keep him, but he will have to prove himself. I dont think they resign Scott so Webb and Carmi can fight out for RT
  2. Its a hit and a miss, evey situation is different
  3. You picked a bad game, against the best team in the league, who are you trying to kid here? you have to look at a players career not pick games to back your allegations.
  4. Your research is flawed, it doesnt really matter what we think, the Bears paid good money for a LT, so they think he is better or they wouldnt have went out and got him. I trust there judgement over yours.
  5. I think if they resign Scott, the possiblity exists that that might happen, I am not calling for it.
  6. Lets face the facts, the Bears have only been in the playoffs once in 6 years. If your a true Bear fan, you want us to have the best team possible, bringing back Urlacher at 5 mil a year hurts our team. You dont pay a player for what he did, you pay him for what he can give you now. Urlacher has never given a shit about the fans, he has bad mouthed us many times. He cares about himself and thank God he likes the Bears, but not enough to give us a good price. The only way you bring him is for his leadership and that aint worth 5 mil a year. His play will hurt the team. He was 29th our of 35 mlbs last year in tackling efficiency. Thats not very good for a MLB. You want to worship him, buy a highlight film and invite him over for dinner.
  7. His agent is going door to door to drum up business for the old pro, who in there right mind are going to pay his price? He might sign somewhere on else on the cheap to spite the Bears for not giving him what he wants, good ridding. We can pay him on past accolades, accept 2 mil a year or sit home.
  8. LIke all those names, although I now think we are going to make every effort to move down.
  9. We will sign a couple CBs at low end salary, to many descent corners out there.
  10. You keep forgetting he improved so much last year, he should be pro bowl type of consideration playing at RT.
  11. If they sign Scott back, I see one of the two tackles being cut Carmi or Webb.
  12. Nobody is giving him starter money, so we still are in the hunt.
  13. Thats right on with talent.
  14. Here is some stats for you. Webb had 5 holding penalty's last year, Bushrod 1. Webb had 9 sacks, Bushrod-4. Keep in mind the Saints passed a ton more than we did last year. I am not sure what Webbs was 2 years ago, but Bushrod had 2 holding penalties in 2011.
  15. For all you Webb lovers, it ok, he wont be cut. He will either be the RT or swing tackle. Bushrod is an upgrade, the Bears believe that, Kromer believes that. There are in a better position to judge that than we are. We got better today and thats all that matters.
  16. I love the names but we wont be trading a 2nd rounder. If the OLinemen are gone at 20 trading our first pick will be more realistic.
  17. Now that they have Bushrod, they wont be signing Scott. Carmi and Webb fight it out for the RT job and the other is the swing tackle. We wont be making anymore splashes in FAgency. We will be signing some of our own guys and grabbing some 2nd tier roster players. I think they plan on Louis at RG or the darkhorse Brown and will draft a LG in the draft. The first two picks will be a OL and a LB. Those are still needs to address. If we resign Urh and Roach, that falls to the 4th and 5th round status.
  18. We have to forget his history and look at the player he is right now. Bring him back cheap for his leadership, but not for his play.
  19. That is a lot more realiztic, think Reddick will be real good.
  20. It doesn't matter what we think, they think he's better..
  21. There is no risk with Bennett, the reason,he only had one good year, he played behind Witten. It doesnt matter what we think of Bushrod, they think he is better. They are in a better position to judge his ability than we are.
  22. They been to many pro days, that leaves us a lot of options.
  23. I dont see the Seahawks and SF on your list that got better.
