I think we are a work in progress, we are only scratching the surface of what our offense can be. We need work but have flashers, and we are doing enough to win games. Defensively I think we are about what we will be, give up a lot of yards and make some big plays. Every week is not going to go well for us, but who on here actually thought we would be 12-4 or 13-3, I never did. I still think we will be around 10-6 which would mean we go 7-6 the rest of the games. If we continue to improve, we may do better than that, but we will have to see when we play better teams if the magic continues. The key is we are making progress. Our offense have looked really good at times and mediocre other times. The great think is it has produced when we needed to to win games, and that is huge.

We are a long way away from being a elite team, but 3-0 is a good start. We can find plenty to scratch our head with, but we have things to smile about too. Cutler looks clutch/ Looks like we have a plan when crunch time pops up. The defense gave more pressure, Peppers is starting to show up. What I see is progress, we adjust to adjustments and have come out on top. If we want to look at imperfection, we have plenty to look at but we are doing this while we are winning games. I think that is huge. Ask GB and SF about what looked bad. What I like is we are headed in the right direction, as sloppy as that might look, we are still 3-0, I cant tear this apart. When we find our first loss, I am not sure I will be able to hang around to hear all of the soothsayers. May I suggest to enjoy what we have, it is so hard to consistently win in the NFL, lets find a little joy in winning on the road to a desperate team.

Im not sure where the Bears started the season but our odds of winning the Super Bowl are 20 to 1. Looking at the odds? KC is 33-1,Houston 12-1, Denver 4-1 I think with Clady being out for the season, Denver has dropped a little with there expectations. We will see how they do against some of there tougher opponents, any more key injuries and they might not make it. I suppose you can say that about any good team thou.

I found a spot that stated they had 7 picks in the first 4 rounds, but it didnt break it down to the specific rounds. They need to draft two studs out of the first 3 picks to make all that they do worth while. We may be in there position in the very near future if the Cutler experiment falls apart, but Im not sure we can fall as far as the Browns will fall this year.

I think more time helps Cutty but I dont think we can dismiss the fact he got married and had a child that has grounded him, and I guess to say matured him. I think it has affected his attitude about life and therefore affected his appoach to football. Not the whiney little bitch he is capable of being. He is the key to this season. If he makes the right decisions on the football field, most of the time, we will be successful. Also it is a contract year, and I always think that has an affect on pro athletes.

Of course we can win this game, it just absolutely will not be easy. I think the key to the game will be turnovers. If we have the plus side of it, we will win, if not a potential lose. We need to score early and keep Pitt on its heels, be balanced and keep the long scoring plays from happening. If we make them go with long drives to score and limit them to FGs, we win this game. Thank God they cant run, will help a lot.

I think I heard they had 6 picks in the first 3 rounds, but havent verified that info. I think the new regime, wants the top QB and 2 first round picks gives them potential to move up if they need to. Apparently they dont have the same opinion of Richardson as the previous heads of the Browns. It sucks for the fans, but going forward if they draft well it will be a good future.

thank you for the obvious. Its not like we 0-2 and pulling our hair out. I dont get it.

I would like it to be different but we will get more of the same with late game heroics again. The STE are not very good but wounded animals find away to fight back. They are going to make this tough but I still think we will win. Im the forever optimist.

Way to early, right on there. We have so many contracts coming up things are going to be quite impossible to predict. One thing for sure if Cutler plays well, he will get paid.
-
I have him in several leagues and his valve just went up. He will be used sparingly this week but will be up to speed in another week. Expect around 10 touches. Im not playing him in any of my leagues.
-
I dont see anyway , whether he plays well or not, we resign Melton. He will demand a lot of money, if Cutler plays well, he will get a big paycheck. We have several fat contracts, you have to let someone go,and I believe it will be him.
-
I stated it, CB,DT,CB
-
You want a CB,saftey,DT,OC,QB?whats your priority? We have to CB,DT,CB to fill our weakest spots on D.
-
I have to say he has no problem making fun of himself, he's got that going for him.
-
We are not going to have a choice with Peppers,we restructured his contract again so were on the hook for him the next two years. Big cap hits if we cut him.

Thats a cool stat to hang your hat on.

Traveled alot but never been to Hawaii, but good for you.I know its not desolate, just have a weird sense of humor. I watched ice truckers once.

That is a good way to put it, guarded. Every year is different, teams that look bad last year are good and good teams look bad. Like you said , one game at a time. I am always in a good mood after a Bear win(no matter how sloppy it might have been). When we lose, just doesnt agree with me. I guess that what happens when you bleed blue. We all can agree, wining is a lot more fun. Until the next game, guarded.

I feel bad for you being in a desolate place with packer fans, I feel your pain. Tequila adds harmony to any occasion. Been to Mexico 23 times and have found it is a wonderful drug. I relate to being around Packer fans as like when I was 6 and got cud dies from those evil little girls we had to be around.

We have a long way to go to make the playoffs, but 2-0 is a pretty good start, lets see what the next game has to say about our resilience, but the arrow is pointing up right now.
-
Your spot on with all that you're said, but I dont think NO ends up making it.

Success is always under construction.Watch any game and you will find the good and bad, it is all perspective. You look for the good things and have hope of success, or look at the bad things and claim to just being real. We are 2-0, it wasnt pretty but ask NE if they thought there 2-0 record was pretty. GOOD teams find ways to win even when a lot of what they do goes bad. The cool thing yesterday instead of letting the bad plays led us to a lose the good ones took us to victory. I am always realistic, but I picked out the good things to relish and not dwell on bad plays. If were doing a critical review, it wouldnt look good, but in sports it is about winning, and I think we are 2-0. 4Ever- I looked at all your comments on here, you made 4 positive comments and 16 negative ones. Your first statement was actually insightful, but downhill the rest of the way. The point I choose to make, is (an example) you comment of Hester as not looking very fast. He has his best day in a year, and thats all you had to say about it. I totally understand people interacting negatively when something bad happens , but your 4 good calls, was way lacking in support for your favorite team. You are a negative person and good luck with that.
