like your picks, just dont think nevis therein 3rd
-
I think after the first 2 wrs, there is a big dropoff, so maybe a 3rd or 4th round pick at wr. I would think we have options in FAengy if the right person isnt there for us in the draft. FAgency looks to me like the talk of Jenkins from GB, a OG, and a WR as there is several out there.

Well since Jerry likes to do this, try this scenerio. Denver trades there 2 2nd round picks to Chi for 29th and 3th round pick. With the 36th pick the Bears pick Sherrod/LT/Miss S With the 46th pick the Bears take Baldwin/WR/Pitt With the 62nd pick the Bears select McClain/DT/SF Denvers reasoning is with Elway taking over running the team, Already have stated franchize qb not on roster. Have had a private workout with Locker and starts his run as GM with a prospect he can sink his teeth into. With 2 1sts and 2 3rds, they fill there needs with a DT, QB, OLB and SS. The Bears get players that might not be there in the 3rd. With the 4th pick take Skine/CB/T-C with the 5th pick they take Linnerholm/OC/Ore S with the 6th pick they take Williams/OLB/SF.

I dont think Nevis will be there in the third so you will have to take him in the second. Linnenkohl will be a great pick for all I have read about him.
-
that is a very realistic draft, on what actually might happen. I would try to get Greg Little, WR, North Car in the third as I dont know much about the one you picked.
-
I think if OT Carmi, Solder, or OG Pouncey are there at our pick they we take them. If one of them are available and Luiget DT or Paea DT are there also, then who will we pick? If both DTs or OLs are at that pick we want, which way will we go in the first round? OL because we have a better chance that a Nevis DT or McClain DT wll be there in the second? Or a DT and hope that a D. Love OT or Ijalana OT will be there in the second? I havent figured out if we get what we want in the first, which way we will go.

As of right now, nothing seems different. Its a hibernation time with the draft a month away. It will change for me starting in June, when there is no activity and the weathers nice, and I can get distracted with music and food and hopefully the White Sox are on a roll.
-
from what I read they went to look at him, but very possible checking an unfamilar name out instead. Just thought odd that all 3 went to look at someone.
-
All three attended USFs pro day who had McClain DT as the main attraction. When is the last time all three went somewhere together? Sounds like major interest. He's 6'1" 300 lbs, 4.8 in the 40. Had 4 TFL and 4 sacks. Athletic but not productive. Only had 24 tackles. Not worthy of a high pick IMO. Was ranked 13rh in PFW draft book. I would be ok with this pick in the 4th or maybe 3rd, but sounds like alot of work and project.
-
More to add: The Bears were at SIUs pro day looking at a CB-Korey Lindsey and ILB Franklin. Lindsey is ranked 29th CB in pro footbally weekly. A small guy and not a good tackler, perfect for us. Franklin is ranked 23rd on GBNorths site, 6' 240" with 4.55 speed. Sounds like a late round pick. Miami-Florida pro day we were there with several CB prospects and Hanrkerson WR working out. We attended M. Tenn S pro day looking at Tarver OLB a 6'3" 236lb 4.65 speed. Cant find him on any lists.
-
A-Bear might be on to something. A, Lovie, and Marinelli all attended McClains pro day. How often has all three of them been in the same place at the same time.

When we do the mock draft contest, dont want any of you guys stealing my picks. rd 1) Watkins/OG/TCU rd 2) Nevis/DT/LSU rd 3) Patrick/CB/Lou rd 4) Pettis/WR/Boise S rd 5) linnerholt/C/ Ore S rd 6) Yates/QB/NC probably more of what I want than they will do. But hope they just pick the BPA, as is the best way to do it.

Tenn-chat/DB/ Skriner works out for Hoke. Sounds like what we would do with our 3rd or 4th round pick. My only problem with him would be at least a 6' at that spot. He is only about 5' 10".
-
So DO WE pick the first round picks and then all the Bear picks? Not finding a person to make a pick for a team as I have seen on here before.
-
The website is run by a former scout and has alot of good info on it. It picked the Bears first pick as Liuget/dt/Ill. The second one was Franklin/OT/Miami. Is rising on draft boards, possible could start sometime his rookie year after Tice gets ahold of him. The 3rd pick was Patrick/cb/Loiusville. Most drafts have him listed in the top 10 cb prospects, which probably would fit with a 3rd round pick.
-
the Bears were at Davon House,s workout at New Mexico State--- a 4.32 speedster with a 6'1-200lb body. (DB) a possible 3rd round pick by most mock drafts. the Bears were at Marylands pro day, maybe checking out Torrey Smith/wr.
-
Add to that list Corbin Bryant/dt from NW. Also Jamel Hamler/wr/Fresno State met with the bears at the combine
-
We will pick the 6 rounds. 3 points if we pick the right player in the right round. 2 points if we pick that player in any round. 1 point if we pick the right position in the round there picked. I am up for throwing in some money on that. As an example 1st round---------Liuget/DT/Ill 2nd round---------Watkins/OG/TCU 3rd round----------Burton/CB/Utah 4th round-----------Linnenkohl/OC/Ore 5th round-----------Lloyd/MLB/Conn 6th round-----------Johnson/FS/TCU

The more I read about him, I have to agree with you. A few websites had him listed as a under tackle, same as A Adams would play, but his stats show he can be a disruptive 3 t. I dont think Williams will be around if we bring in a quality tackle, Omiyale beat him out last year, and Webb showed enough promise to keep developing him. He would have to improve drasticly to start at LT, and I dont think he has it in him. Sims-Walker drops a lot of passes and whines when he doesnt get the ball. Him and Rice both have some down time with injuries, but Rice with a good quarterback will shine, as he did with Brent, Walker will be cheaper, but why did Jauguars get rid of him when they are hurting at WR? I think if we get a stud OG in FAgency that he will be not much less money than Rice would be, and Rice will be a stud with Culter. I think we will take the highest rated DT or OT with that first pick and pick the opposite with the 2nd round. Its possible Watkins could slip to the #2 pick and that would be awesome, or a Boling/Geo and possibly Ijalana/Vill at that spot. What do you think about Alex Linnenholt/Ore State? I think he sounds like a perfect fit to replace Olin in another year and could be had with a 4th or 5th round pick.
-
I like the positions you took where there took them, but in the second round we need to address a 3 technique tackle, of which Paea is not. Better choices would be Wilkerson/Temple or Austin/NC or Drake Nevis/LSU. One of them will be there. O'Dowd in not a good choice at center. Injury prone, plays to upright, easliy bull rushed. Better choices would be Linnenkohl/Ore state or Kirkpatick/TCU. Both are hard working, leader types, smart players. Will develope into starters at the next level. Walker sucks, we need to sign Rice/Min or Smith/NY. Much better wrs. Would like him to be, not sure Carimi will be there. The top 4 OTs are worthy of being picked that high, but probably wont be there. Sherrod is now being rated more of a early second rounder. If the tackles arent there, I would love to Watkins/TCU/OG. He is nasty and physical, will be a starter till he retires. Could possibly play OT at the next level.
-
I think they franchise tag him which means 2 first rounders, which wont happen.(Jackson)There is some risk with Rice but he is an attainable asset.
-
Andy Fantuz instead of Krutz, scewed that one up.
-
I will assume that they sign a WR in the FAgency as there are many out there, and maybe a OLineman. Ideally Sidney Rice and maybe Deuce Lutui, guard from the Cardinials. Rice is young would be perfect for Cutler. Lutui had a excellent year in 2009 and sucked in 2010. Hes 28 and could come reasonable. I also assume they resign Kruentz for another year or two while we train a new center. That they cut T. Harris. 1) Sherrod/OT/Miss St or Castonzo/OT/BC, one of them should be there. They will play RT as Webb moves over to LT as he has the body for the left, and has improved. 2) Williams/CB/ Tex or Smith/CB/Colo, need a CB to start right away and both are over 6' and project around here in the draft. 3) Austin/DT/NC, because he is a head case, he may drop to the third round. Has all the tools to be a good DT and hopefully the Lovie group changes his attitude. 4) Linnerkhol/C/Ore State, has the leadership qualities and toughness to be groomed to take over for Olin. 5)Lloyd II/MLB/Conn, had injuries in 2009, and missed some of 2010 trying to return to early. Has speed and great upside to be groomed for Urlacher spot in a couple of years. 6) Jackson/FS/Ohio, someone to add to the mix in case Manning leaves. Our OL is rebuilt with Webb-Lutui-Kreuntz-Garza-Sherrod. Omiyale becomes the swing tackle and Williams a backup. Linnenkhol the center in 2 years. We sign Rice and bring in Krutz, Hester goes back to special teams all the time and a trick play guy on Offense. So it will be Rice, Knox, Bennet and Krutz. With Taylor gone, (a mistake) Unga (a big back) becomes Fortes backup with Bell. Defensively we bring in a DT, CB, future relplacement for Urlacker and another body at FS.

everybody looks good on highlight films. I hope this means we feel we have our big WR spot filled, so we dont spend money on Rice or someone else. We can no longer look for bargin WRs or make a KR our #1 , we have to simply go out and get a legit #1. God help us all
