With all the holes we need to fill, do you honestly think we will give up picks to move up 10 spots? That will take at least 3 picks, that wont happen. If some one drops to maybe 13 or 14, that would take our extra 3rd possible but not probably.
why do you think that. You actullly have some good ideas on here, I just dont think this is one of them. If he had anything left , someone would jump on that. I dont think the league is blackballing him, just old and has not much left, vs the potenial ego issues he ALWAYS shows.
We need an upgrade at TE but we have so many other needs that becomes a mute point. We have to get a couple of more OL, and a couple of WRs, a CB, ans some new blood at LB. The offense has to function with out all the extra help. If Cutler gets beat one more year, then will he want to stay here? If Tice stays I think he has a realistic view of the OL and Wr and will help address that.
If your going to get on someones bandwagon , pick a better player. We need to add three WRs on this team. Hopefully V-Jac or Bowe, then a lower grade like Manningham or E. Royal, or L. Robinson. Then we need to draft one with one of the first 3 picks. Think bigger than TO. He will never play in the nfl again, unless you become a GM.
Lovie and Tice(if he stays) will lead free agency, because the new guy wont have been able to evaluate the team yet. Then after what holes we fill in FAgency, they will put there heads together to draft.
That would be nice but I think we only sign I big contract, and 3 less expensive. So , realisticly, V. Jac, Fred Davis, W. Gay/CB, Eddie Royal/WR. Then you have to resign T Jennings, and draft a DE, WR, 2 OLs and a LB.
Absolutely a great idea. He is hot a between the talkes kind of guy, but screens, outside the box runs, the defense will have to consider him when in the backfield. I am talking about 12 touches a game, not a front line RB. He is not as strong as Sproales but has ability , if used right can benifit our offense.
I think Davis may be better than he has shown, but we dont know that. Good offenses have good TEs so we need to bring someone in to compete. I think we should go after Fred Davis in FAgency, he has shown he can be that guy, with 59 rec, with 796 yards, and 3 TDs. What do you think he can do with Cutler pitching to him and he wont break the bank.
Since we arent playing this is the best thing that could happen. I dont think I could go threw another year of Packer fans had they won 2 years in a row. I have a lot of respect for the Packer org. after getting rid of Favre in favor of Rodgers, but cant stand there fans.
Charlie Campbell is blowing smoke, the only rumor out there is the one he just started. The Bears are to busy trying to find a GM to have a decision to trade up and go after FAs. Our local media have a better handle on what is going on behind the scenes, and they havent mentioned anything. Oh by the way, I heard that the Bears were going to trade Forte, Briggs, and Urlacher for A. Foster with Houston, because I like Foster better than Forte.
Who is going to trade for a 32 year old lb that wants a big contract? I dont think Marshall will go anywhere, why would a team trade away there only legimate wr? It all sounds good to play GM but our GM isnt even in place yet, so how can anybody have any idea how we will go about FAgency and who we will draft.
We do need to upgrade all of our WRs but after a #1 we need to find people that can help us going forward, not a one and done. Do you think if he is not the first option in the passing offense, that he will act as a happy camper? With say VJac and Bennett, he will be Cutlers third option which is the recipe for disaster. Bad idea.
Your wrong about what Hub said, they want an outside guy, but Ruskill is the fall back guy. They havent been getting people falling over job is because they were evaluting there move and hadnt started the process yet. Decosta is the only they have asked to talk to. They never had a shot at Mckenzie because of the slow process they are going thru and Oakland gave him full power and that is better than what we can do here this year.
