We have to many needs to be trading for players or trading draft picks to move up. I think we get a FA WR, many to choose from, and hopefully with our 1st round pick grab a decent prospect at left tackle. If the top 3 are gone, how about drafting Adams/OS to play the right side and move Carimi to the left, has to do better than Webb.

I agree with all points, but WR and OL fix is top priority, Forte isnt going anywhere and Briggs is just a loud mouth, cant do a thing. Nobody wanted him before , what about now that he is 3 years older.
-
#1 I think we can do better than Meachem in FAgency, also no one will give you a #2 for Briggs, plus do not like Williams at tackle(how many times does he get a chance) I would rather give Webb another year , but dont like that either. DeCastro would be a good add. Knox wont be in football by this time next year. He didnt like contact before what do you think having back issues will do.

I think Toon being on a run first offense will blossom in the NFL. He wont be a top 10 WR but not far behind. I think he will turn into a #1 WR for someone, and 2nd round is where he will be picked. The future will show whether he is a 4th round type. We all have opinions. -

I think they buy One big pay guy, I would. Like it be V jak or Bowe but I think Wash or Jets will pay more or Bowe probably team tag. There is only one LT and that is Bell from Buf worth going after. So what realisticly can we expect, probably not what I may want -

I was trying to be realistic in my expectations, we can all play fantasy football, but the Bears wont be. -
I am not saying I would like the choice, just that I wont be throwing up as long if they do indeed choose him.

Just read about two more names that sound interesting. Les Snead, is PPD in Atlanta,Dimtrof right hand man.(good drafts since taking over) Also Steve Kiem PPD for Cardinals.(check out his drafting, pretty good)

I would prefer a taller CB but they rate him the 3rd best CB in draft, there draft is judged by that. We definitely need a down the field TE, all good teams have one. On all the mock drafts I have looked at, (not that they know what there doing)he has been a first round pick except for one. -
Dennard/CB/Neb with first pick Toon/WR/WI with the second pick Zeitler/OG/WI with first of third round Carder/MLB/TCU with second of third round Green/TE/LouLaff with fourth round. I think this would be a good draft if we still go after WR,DE,and OL in FAgency. Lets say Mathis/DE/ Colts ( with new regime will probably take a fresh start attitude and let some of the older guys go. Lets say Reggie Wayne/WR/Colts (same reason) Lets say Eddie Royal/WR/ Den ( fresh start with the a qb he played well with) Lets say Demetri Bell/LT/Buf (he is young and had an injury this year, but if Buffalo doesnt Franchise him, pay him;above average LT) I would say this a realistic expectation. Bell will be expensive, and Mathis will require a good payday, but Wayne on a downside contract with Royal wanting a new start with Cutler. Our WRs would be Toon, Bennett, Wayne, Royal, and Sauzenbacher. Hester as a special play WR,once in a while. Our OL will be Bell, Williams, Garza, Spencer, Carimi.(Zeitler replace Spencer next year.) Green will add a pass catching option at TE. Carder will be Urlachers replacement in a year or two. A needer quality CB. Mathis a legitmate pass rusher opposite Peppers. WE SHOOT, WE SCORE, WE WIN Walterfootball.com

Bowe will be franchised, Buffalo will either franchise the LT or WR, I say we go after the one they leave available. Demetri Bell is the LT , or Stevie Johnson.
-
I agree with you, he would do well here, but being under contract its not his choice. Why would they trade there only good WR?
-
After reading this,I feel a lot better about him as a personal guy. Everything you said makes sense. He has a much better track record that Jerry. He is here already and just have to give him a boost in pay and a title. Who any good (gm prospects) would want to walk in a situation where eveybody could be gone next year. We all think he is a Jerry clone because Jerry bought him here, not the case.

Your right alot, J Webb wont be the starting LT when the line gets good again. Tice adjusted the oline schemes, he tried to work with the Martz offense which was the problem. Im not sure you have been right about anything.
-
They are right on with all needs.
-
Kind of looks like cleaning house has been done with a broken broom
-
Your draft has good picks, but we need a LT and you didnt address that.
-
I am ok with that if he trades the entire draft for Jake Long/LT/Miami
-
I think considering the situation, this was going to happen. Nobody with any flair would come in to a situation when a new GM, having a lame duck coach, and doing what someone else wants. I think Tice is his own man and will carry more weight as a OC, so he will get the OL fixed in the draft and FAgency. His teams at Minn were passing teams, or more so balanced teams. I think Lovie will take what direction Tice wants, since he will push for a strong running game and knows the valve of the pass.

You dont get measured by 7-3, we were 8 and 8. Our defense is sliding fast, no one will look at it as a good defense going forward. The only thing that will work is if he is given control with Lovie being a possible one and out. And lots of money.
-
I think its ok to talk to the ones on a bye but once the games start, it is off till there out of playoffs.
-
Hub on the Score talked about, with his kids in school he doesnt want to leave the area to disrupt there lives. He use to play for the Raiders, but Chicago is a 4 hour drive, so would be an ideal stop. He wants to be a GM and a perfect spot to land.

Jackson will cost a ton, with lots of suitors. This year there is several #1s out there. Colston-NO Injury issues, but great when healthy. Brees woulldnt allow him to leave Jackson-PHIL Dont care for him. Johnson-Buf I think we could get him at a reasonable price and would do well here. Bowe-KC Could be a great addition Welker-NE(he aint going anywhere) Wayne-Colts age bothers me, but could get maybe two years out of him and several other interesting #2s Garcon-Colts to many dropped balls, but would take him as a #2 Meachem-NO to inconsistent Manningham-Giants I think that might work Robinson-Dallas not enough of a track record, but better than anyone we have Smith-Phil I think we could add him cheap and if he can get back to playing the way he did before he was hurt-winner -winner Edwards-SF he sucks
-
I would be happy with any three of them, plus Sunnquist use to be a expert caller on the Score at one time, and sounded like a bright guy.

Actually a first time GM may find this an attractive job. Lovie gets one year to prove himself, and then you can fire him if he doesnt win.
