I am big into the draft and there is only a couple of mock drafts that have in going before the 3rd round. I was kinda going by Scouts player ranking as a basis of my draft and he is the 115th ranked player which puts him in our pick spot. Also 19th ranked Wr.

I think there are several receivers that would fit us and Iglesias is as good as any. Matt S/Wisc isnt know to have much quickness with his first step, so there are better choices at that spot. You dont address our glaring 2nd worst weakness at saftey till the 5 round and I would bet one of our first two picks is a FS. The rest is all a helpful draft for the team. Mine would be: 2-Bryd/FS/Oregon-----------------29PB-12 It in the last two years 3-Massaquoi/WR/Geo--------------2 year team captain, blocker, improved every year 4-Follett/OLB/Cal-------------------leading tackler 3 years, 23TFLs,10.5 Sacks, 4 PB, 5FFs 5a-Melton/DE/Tex------------------former rb, quick, fast, big upside 5b-Gardner/OT/GT-----------------3 year starter, good RB, long arms 6-Gill/DT/NW------------------------atheletic starter 7a-Orenberger/OG/PS----------------overachiever, productive 7b-Afalava/SS/OS---------------------good size and speed
-
Another guy to look at is Knox/Abileen Chr, big production, and 4.34 speed. Maybe a 4th or 5th round pickup.
-
All our WRs just got better. Bennett could turn into a star. Think about it from Cutlers point of view. You get to go play for the team you routed for growing up, your LT and favorite WR are now your teammates, and the Bear fans now love you. It has to create a atmosphere for many people to succeed in.
-
I agree with your logic, but it will all be determined by who is on the board at the time. I think if Robiskie is there, they will pull the trigger. I agree Johnson is probably the guy with a deep WR class and not deep in Safteys.
-
We can pay him next year, we will need the money to pay for Boldin when he gets here.
-
Since I cant feel my fingers right now, I think Im having a heart attack, how about grabbing Bolden for our 2nd rounder.

ESPN can blow me!
-
You screwed up man, we also have Denvers 5th pick this year.
-
Tough luck , you guys I finally got the Bears pick.
-
Sorry man, I knew you really wanted a OL with the first pick(hey hey the witch is dead)
-
Two in the first 100 picks, give us a WR, and Fs(sorry NFO) and I will be smiling all the way to training camp.
-
Anybody being negative today needs to stick a gun in there mouth. I havent been this excited since Hester run the opening KO back for a touchdown.(I was later disappointed)I was in Mexico that year and won 500.00 on one play.
-
I think in a bidding war with deep pockets skins, it might take a 1 and 3 this year and a 1 next year, and may have to throw in a guy(Harrison)DT. How far would you go?
-
I think if JA believes he will be good, take him at 28 because we dont have the 25th pick where he might be slated.
-
I will take TB, but the cowboys can blow me, what ever it takes to get the party started
-
I actually have a lot of respect for your opinion, my fear is Williams is shitty or get hurts again, then were rearranging the OL to accompidate the problem, but agree you need to play people to find out if they can play. I guess I am a little worried Williams could be a problem. Im gun shy.
-
I am trying to figure out what JA might be thinking, not necessarily what I would do. I personally would like to draft a big guy we could slam in at the goal line, like Jenning/Liberty. 235lbs. The only way the Giants are moving up is if a WR drops to us that they dont think will be there with there pick.
-
I dont really care if he developes, I want the best player out there, and if he aint good enough or needs more time so be it. Your stuck on this draft a OT high and play him so he can develope. I agree that is the best senario, but Colombo was a high draft pick, that didnt work in that case. I just want the team to be better, and we still dont know if Williams can play? You want Williams to play and if he's bad, just part of the process? Screw that. None of us know if Pace is still any good or if Williams will be good. Lets at least have options, if something doesnt work out.
-
If you could get him for little of nothing, it would be ok, but he hasnt proven anything since he has been in the league. Would be better off with Orton being the fact he wouldnt have to learn a new system and will this year show if he has it or not. If we got Cambpell, you would have to give him two years being he has to learn a new system. He had a better RB, and better receivers in Wash, and didnt shine.
-
If we try to get him and fail because we didnt have the right people to offer, so be it, but at least be in the mix and the effort will give me some hope.
-
Sign Pace and let the best man win, with the uncertainy of Williams and Paces injury history, they both will end up playing. Pace can teach Williams some stuff. Let Shaffer play RT, Omilyale LG and Buening or a draftee than can play OG, and OT fight for the RG spot and build from there.

I think the more bodies the better chance we have at being a better football team.
-
Let me say he will be in Detroit! If I was the onwner, I would send him to the worst situtation as possible. He screwed me and I get to screw him. Higher draft picks, although the first pick has its down side.
