Hub on the Score talked about, with his kids in school he doesnt want to leave the area to disrupt there lives. He use to play for the Raiders, but Chicago is a 4 hour drive, so would be an ideal stop. He wants to be a GM and a perfect spot to land.

Jackson will cost a ton, with lots of suitors. This year there is several #1s out there. Colston-NO Injury issues, but great when healthy. Brees woulldnt allow him to leave Jackson-PHIL Dont care for him. Johnson-Buf I think we could get him at a reasonable price and would do well here. Bowe-KC Could be a great addition Welker-NE(he aint going anywhere) Wayne-Colts age bothers me, but could get maybe two years out of him and several other interesting #2s Garcon-Colts to many dropped balls, but would take him as a #2 Meachem-NO to inconsistent Manningham-Giants I think that might work Robinson-Dallas not enough of a track record, but better than anyone we have Smith-Phil I think we could add him cheap and if he can get back to playing the way he did before he was hurt-winner -winner Edwards-SF he sucks
-
I would be happy with any three of them, plus Sunnquist use to be a expert caller on the Score at one time, and sounded like a bright guy.
-
Actually a first time GM may find this an attractive job. Lovie gets one year to prove himself, and then you can fire him if he doesnt win.
-
I think we should address our offensive problems in FAgency and defense in the draft. Go after Dem. Bell OLT -Bills young and above average Go after Steve Johnson WR-Bills, better passing option here Go after Steve Smith WR-Phil, not cost alot and will like the chance to be a bigger part of offense Go after Fred DavisTE-Wash all good offense teams have a good pass catching TE. In the draft we get a DE, CB, and LB help .

What GM canidate with any substance will walk into a situation where he cant pick his coaches? He will have to be a unproven guy getting his first chance. Another role of the dice by a non football guy, Ted Phillips.

HEY HEY the witch is dead, the WICKED witch is dead.
-
Of course we need young impact players, but if you dont get Cutler an offense line and some targets at WR, you will waste Culters best years. He will be beat up and never play again at a top 10 qb level. You cant fill all of your holes in one season but if you ignore the OL and WR spots, we lose the advantage of having Culter.

On the good side. Forte is a stud Cutler is a top ten qb Carimi has potenial Kluetz a good FB Conte shows promise Okeye a decent addition DJ Moore a good nickel back Paea shows promise on the bad side Defense getting old Melton inconsistent coaching decisions WRs - Bennett only decent one no pass catching TE Martz The ugly JA OL-Garza ok-Williams maybe- the rest suck The end of the season for Hester We need so many upgrades, and if JA stays have no trust in his judgement.
-
I agree that I dont trust JA but I think last years draft could turn into the best he has done. Carmi, Conte, Paea, Sanzenbacker, and throw in Enderle? I would that could turn out to be three above average starters and a possible contributor in Sanz. we dont know about Enderle.

GB-Finley Atl-Gonzales NO-Graham Det-Pettigrew Dallas-Witten(if they make the playoffs SF-Davis NYG- you got me on that one. Not passing a drug test, doesnt make him a bad apple, just a dumb one
-
there is no way you move up enough to get him with a 1st and 3rd. We need good picks to hit and cant afford to give up any.
-
Thank God he is out of the booth, not a fan as an announcer.
-
We need to add a proven WR not a one year wonder.
-
I dont think Martz will be here, and every good team in the league has a pass catching TE. K. Davis is just rolling the dice, Fred Davis wont be blue chip cost, and would add a much needed pass catcher.
-
Absolutely a great idea. Smith was a stud before the injury

I say we draft a LT in first round and CB in second. MLB to groove for Urlackers replacement in the third Defensively we get Avril/DE/Lions Offense Ben Grubbs/OG/Ravens-will have to pay Fred Davis/TE/Redskins-better qb for better option Stevie Johnson/WR/Bills- Buffalo sucks Kyle Orton/backup QB Offense LT-new guy LG-Grubbs OC-Garza RG-Spencer RT- Carimi TE- Fred Davis WR-Johnson-Bennett
-
When do you get checked back in the Mental Institute. He will be one of the best ever.

Whats the payout for 1st and 2nd? -
Its not about what we have its what we dont have. We need two CBs, another try at saftey, a back up QB(so this dont happen again) two WRs,(a real #1), two OL and a pass catching TE. Oh and a DT that can play consistent. Other than that we will need to replace 3 LBs after next year, and we have a good team. Now we need someone that can evaluate talent, to pick it and then get them on the field. I see Bear Hell coming soon.
-
I think we need to go OL again with someone like Barrett Jones/OT/ alabama- he can play both LT and LG so if we sell out Webb, we can put him there then in the 2nd round draft Toon/WR/Wisc.- stats arent special because he played on a running team, but could be a stud

In one league where i have the best team in the league, I lost in the first round to a not so good team, and here I didnt think I had a shot, and lucked out. You easily have the best team in the league, but as we know, the best team doesnt always win. -

Is your arm sore for patting yourself on the back. -
We dont have to worry about Detroit, they keep falling apart. This is just the beginging of the end.
