I never said people on message boards dont make intelligent comments, and that experts are king. All the smart people in the NFL make 50% mistakes on first round picks. I just dont think your all that sharp.(just kidding) You actually make some profound statements, but you also make some stupid ones too. What bothers me about you, is if someone doesnt agree with you, that automatically dont know what there talking about. I say stupid stuff(while at least once) sometimes to, but I dont put myself on a pedestal, I try to keep everything in perspective. What look at the so called experts and find some that agree with our line of thinking and maybe we think there sharp. I think the smart ones are probably close to 50/50 on there projections, but some get paid to make decisions and if they screw up they get fired. They have more stake in what they say or do. We dont do anything but argue or our opinions. There is a difference.

I base my opinions on everything I watch and read, its a composite of many different sources. The point I was trying to make is because you watched a lot of games, how many of a certain player did you watch, focus on? If you watch highlight films of any player, that will make anybody look good. I probably watched both players 2 games a piece, so I cant base my judgement on what I seen, so I rely on what I read. I have opinions, but keep them in perspective as to what I can be a realistic judge of.

How many games of Brown playing did you watch? I think I prefer to accept the opinion of people that scout players for a living rather than you because you watch a lot of football games.
-
I definitely think one of our first 3 picks will be a CB. I still think we will move down and have 4 in the first 4 rounds someway or another, which will fall inline with the positions you mentioned.
-
The more I read the more I like Brown, sounds to me to be more apt to take Briggs job after he retires.
-
any of those sound good to me. I still think Brown is going to be a tackling machine in the NFL and would prefer to grab him.
-
There are a lot of mocks out there from goofs, but the ones I look at that I give a grain of salt too are ones run by former scouts. When I get a little more time, I will put up a list.

Im sorry I got confused, its like Webb is better but you didnt say he was better, and didnt pine for him. I start to get you point on evaluation.
-
So you prefer Olgetree, because you watched more tape on him? I like you scientific approach for your opinions.
-
Yea that guys real sharp, he doesnt even have our draft order right.
-
Davis was 6-7, that didnt do anything for anybody. I would take Austin over drafting a TE in the 1st, if we had the luxury of many picks we could play fantasy football but we dont.
-
I think for him to make a visit it would be to see Barkley. I can see, not desire, them drafting a QB high if we trade down for more picks.
-
I think Jones in the 2nd would be a great pick, can play OG until Garza loses his edge.
-
I am starting to see why your getting excited. I think we need to take that a step further and besides eifert in the first ,lets take Ertz in the second. Then we could line up Bennett in the slot, since we wont need a slot WR when we can have another TE. We put Evan in the backfield instead of Forte, he's taller and can block better. That way we have 6 players over 6-3 on the field at the same time and our offense would be unstoppable. I can thoroughly see why your intrigued.
-
If we did that, then Emery would be admitting Evan is a wasted pick.
-
Those are all good names, but if we drafted Flucker that gives us 4 RT going into training camp, and Brown will be a ieumuch better player than Te''o. Boyce addresses a need while Mathieu still has a lot of ?s

The point is NOT IN THE FIRST ROUND
-
The latest Watlers mock draft, has us taking #1 Arthur Brown/LB #2 Larry Warford/OG #4 Josh Boyce/WR That is a mock I can get behind.Love it.

It will take the end of the season or maybe two years from now to judge what Emery is doing now, but I has to give him kudos for having a plan. He is systematically filling our needs with resigning or someone new. The biggest one is not signing the great Brian Urlacher, which in my opinion, is a good move. He is one year older and injury prone, and not up to par anymore. We filled his spot with a risk but with upside. A productive player until last year, Williams has something to prove. He will never be Urlacher in his prime years but tons better than Urlacher 2013. Anderson is a better choice than Roach,so at least on paper this looks like an upgrade. We got a cheap QB option back instead of the bloated Campbell. Our Oline is better but not great, but Slauson over an Louis coming off of a injury is a positive. Bushrod is not a great LT but is an upgrade over the mediocre Webb. Webb and Carmi will fight over the RT spot, with Scott a decent backup. That spot was terrible last year and now we have competition with the chance of it being better. TE is a huge upgrade over the handless Davis. Marena is a better blocker than Spaeth. Hayden was ok as a NB and gets to prove his worth being on a one year deal. The only move I didnt like was McBride over bringing back Idonije who was a underrated player. He still might be back, thou. The biggest thing about all of this is there all coming here on one year, cheap contracts.(other than Bennett and Bushrod) He is not done, so we can only improve on the present.
-
Its going to be some form of a WCO, which means we aint drafting a TE in the first.
-
Well considering betting, Urlacher is no longer here, so I called that one right, the Bears didnt want him. So when I said he wouldnt play 12 games, winner winner chicken dinner. I think the possiblity exists he might sign somewhere but after his first injury, he will be retired this year. I am up for betting on that, your call.
-
Im not talking about on this board, I am talking about professional opinions. There have been some that have mentioned he could play OG but the overall vibe is a excellent RT.
-
I think we still need another drafted player to make this a better OL.
-
It was mentioned that Scott was signed to be the swing tackle. So the right tackle spot is a duel between Webb and Carmi. Early in camp if Webb shines I see them moving Carmi to OG. If Carmi takes the spot, that may be bad for Webb to stay on the roster.
