I think someone like Zabel that could literally be fit in any spot on the OL would be an ideal pick. Someone that could play at least a couple spots. As much as we a solid front five, if someone gets hurt we need upgrade of backup that replace a starter in a year or two.

I think this year we are more likely to take BPA than in other years at 10 . Since the Dline is a strength in the draft, probably Dline and OL at 39-41. The first round is up to who drops. I expect we move down to add picks.

Just an addition to the room that Ben can play with. I suspect either him or Scott make the team, probably not both. I just woke up, during my nighttime I keep checking to see if we have additions and first time I sleep for 3 hours we add someone.

To be honest, I would be happy with any of those names. They do the most research and I trust them to make the right decision.

I think they know what's going on and will target S in the top 4 if they think to big of a risk. Plus with an abundance of FA SsI think they may well bring one in for backup if they can't trust Brisker's health. Actions will show the faith.

I don't think we draft Simmons because of injury. We got Kiran last year and just don't think Poles drafts that type again. I would have no problem with Banks or Membou or Grant. Although I think we could move back and still get all of those choices. I think Membou is the second T off the board. Booker will be high but Membou can play OG also if needed. The second round is where a lot of our fits will be drafted. Pundits say it's not top heavy with blue chip players at the top but above average in the next tier.20 to 50. i would even move out of the first round to get extra top 50 picks.

Unless Graham or Campbell drops,I see them . moving back makes the most sense. Actually I would a couple of trade backs to 20-30. I would target Zabel in the 20s He literally can play any spot on the line. He can fill any spot that isn't working out. Braxton or Jackson gets injured. With extra 2nd or 3rd round picks. DT, Edge, RB, WR, S can be gotten. Joshua Gray played for our assistant OL coach and can be gotten in 4 th or 5 th round. Was best OL at the Shrine Bowl. I think we target him in mid rounds. 3rd will be the sweet spot for RBs, I like Skattebo there. Dennis Allen likes big DEs, that eliminates most higher rated edge players. Landon Jackson, Nic Scourton , Shemar Stewart, Jordan Burch all fit that mold . I expect one of them.

We surely need another pass catching TE to back up Kmet. Smythe was brought in as blocker. Kmet has one of the best catch rates among TEs. 55 targets - 47 catches, 70% success rate.. He just needs to get more targets. Sam Laporte caught 60 of 83 targets at a 53% success rate. If Cole gets 83 targets,bo one will be complaining about replacing him . They need to add a rookie prospect to the S room but it's not a weakness at this time. We have excellent CB depth, Terrell Smith, Blackwell, and under a new coach that will demand accountability should help Stevenson. The new coaches will evaluate the roster and if we draft a CB high then we will know what they think of Stevenson. They will add some more free agents but at cheap prices that will fill some of these spots. Every position could use more talent but I think they still need to add to the trenches for future stability.

We have spent our money already. All that is coming now is add ons. A 3rd WR, backup S, LB, TE?

Jeanty should not be considered. Johnson has a 2 back system, getting a load back changes what he does. We are trying to be a passing team that runs the ball well. We can add to the room and still focus our future on Caleb. Not at 10.

I think they address S but not with our top picks. Because we added in the trenches in FA doesn't mean it's fixed. We need a couple prospects to develop as our older players drop off. We have Kiran A, Bill Murray, Chris Glaser, Jordan McFadden, Joshua Miles and Ryan Bates on the roster. Any of those future starters? I think Kiran and Murray are the only ones I trust to maybe be future starters.We need a Zabel or Mbow, plus what ever LT that they like to develop.

Filling holes, Jeanty could be back on the table. I think they still hit the trenches early. Now they have a chance to build the lines, give them depth and keep the wheel turning. I think LT and DL will be prioritized with this high of a pick. Those are high paid positions down the road. With the extra picks coming on trade downs, I can see a 3rd round RB spot with many names still on the table. I would like to move down to 20s and take Zabel. Try to move back at 39 and 41 and still grab DL. Another OL and RB with extra picks. Something overlooked is we added leaders to the team. Thuney, Dalman , Jarrett to go with Byard and Caleb jumping into a leader role.

With the big money thrown around, I don't see Allen signing a 1 yr 10 mil deal. He will expect a 15 mil at least. He said here or South Cali, that means he has 3 choices. I suspect he would retire. We may look for speed. Eligah Moore? Ben played St Brown in the slot most of the time. A perfect spot for DJ. Tim Patrick and Josh Reynolds both played for Johnson in Detroit. Reynolds doesn't have speed but played 3 yrs in Detroit. Tutu Atwell is a 4.39 speed guy and has never gotten big money. Had some production in LA and they just acquired Devante Adams.

We will add 2 more OL to compete maybe 3. I suspect a Zabel that could play any position and a OT.

Daniels gets a LT but Stroud loses one. Probably has diminished his talent some. We have Braxton, Kiran A and a draftee to compete. I'm ok with that.

I just mentioned the same thing on one of the other threads. The good defenses have a stud S. I totally expect trade backs to add more top 100 players to develop as these vets get older. A Johnson or Skattebo instead of Jeanty? If one of the top players drop we could get a haul or a QB moves up the draft boards. OR we add a stud at 10 and trade back with both 39 and 41. Poles has set this up to blow up the draft board. I expect at least one OL and one DL high and then add where Johnson wants to fill.

Grant will be a beast. He's a RAS freak. We are set up to pick BPA. Almost anyone is on the table. Jeanty, Will Johnson, S . I think they trade back a few times and still get a Zabel, Grant, TE? Then we will be back to the trenches. The good defenses have a stud S or more edge players. If Brisker can't have a career, we can't rule that out.

Adding all pro players can't hurt even if they're not at top of their game. They can add so much to growth of young players. Cut down his rotation time.
