And just think how some here wanted to keep him and pass on CW….yikes!
  2. What a great throw by Caleb. He has been great overall this year in my view, great character and developing quickly.
  3. Looking at it from this viewpoint, I would question some decisions. There were a few offensive linemen that could have been picked up, but weren’t but we picked up Allen. V Jones is never going to be a good decision, that could have been an offensive lineman. Lots of other scenarios where offensive line could have been prioritised.
  4. Wow, very disheartening. And that was me thinking we had competent people running things. Those who were saying we needed offensive line help: right again. We should have splurged there and let Allen go.
  5. I really appreciate all who keep the site running and those who contribute. It’s great reading and very informative.
  6. Great observations, I still hold out hope for Flus being a good coach. It is thrilling to follow a team with grownups in charge who actually know what they are doing. I think I might get a Poles jersey if I could, lol. I have bought a Firestick and am going to purchase Gamepass for the first time since being in the UK for 20 years. Exciting times
  7. I don’t think the Bears have ever had such good receivers, especially if Odunze is as good as hoped. Conway and Graham were good, Marshall and Alshon too.
  8. Pixote, I am very sorry for your loss. I have lost two children as well, so share your pain. Best wishes to you and your family.
  9. I think you might be right! What a great time to be a Bears fan. I think I have to buy Dazn
  10. I am excited with a bit of PTSD anxiety. It really seems we are trending up and have a chance to get a team changing QB. It’s hard to forget the last years and disappointments, but I feel pretty confident.
  11. There we go. A perfect summary of what has been obvious for weeks. Thank you Adam, as usual priceless statistics and analysis. Sadly, rebels without a cause will continue to pollute the airways with idiocy.
  12. Good list, not sure about Jenkins with the injuries. Definitely a much better team post Poles.
  13. Interesting read of overall success of quarterback number one picks. Looks to me like a pretty high success rate. Hard to bend these stats really, but arguments could be had around how success is measured. https://www.windycitygridiron.com/2024/4/3/24118088/examining-the-history-of-quarterbacks-nfl-draft-cam-newton-caleb-williams-andrew-luck-joe-burrow
  14. I feel exactly the same way. That family are poor owners, if any family could screw up a good thing it’s them. Let’s hope they don’t get too involved.
  15. Haha, definitely ok with me, I misunderstood the RG3 comment. I am feeling more positive than I have in years, I hope history won’t come along and slap me back to depression.
