  1. Bears win by 2 scores at least, Lions are over-rated and Bears are gelling....
  2. I wonder if all of the tweeting and bling bling type stuff hurt him as well a bit....he seems like he could be a bit outspoken? Regardless, I always liked him and hate to see him go...he has a great number too!
  3. I will be there too, sitting not far from Flea with all of the BearDownUK guys! Watch out for us, my wife and I will be together with the 51 and 40 jerseys!
  4. I would be happy to, PM sent.
  5. Very true, I am a transplanted American but you would be shocked to learn how many die-hard and knowledgeable Bears fans there are over here, Flea one of the most so. I don't know if it is worth arguing about the economics of it all but I would bet that the NFL would not be doing it if it did not make money. For me, I am just grateful as he££ for a chance to see the Bears live! Watch out for me and my wife at the game, 51 and 40!!! I will be sitting with all of the NFL UK guys, so I reckon there will be lots more jersey around!
  6. Exactly! It would be nice to have a relatively proven WR....we could use one!
  7. Absolutely agree with this view, the writer of the book has rights as does Madlith and others who are offended. Summed up perfectly by "If you don't like my comments about the writer, don't read them."
  8. Thanks for that Flea, to say I am looking forward to it would be a great understatement!
  9. This is a team that was one game away from the SB last year? "Ruining Bears?" Maybe just a slight over-exaggeration?
  10. I was able to watch the tape of the game today..... I was expecting things to be worse, from some comments I thought it was going to be a blow-out. Certainly was not great to watch, but I thought we were in the game throughout.... -I agree on Knox, he did not have a good game, dropped some big passes, and I was not impressed with the bitching either. Too bad he cannot hold on like Sanz. -O Line is definitely weak, not catastrophically bad but close. Those who were crying for more O Line help were right I think, we should not suck this bad even with injuries. -Bad game from Cutler, if he had done better we might have been able to win this one. He had a poor game, accuracy was pretty crap and his pocket awareness not good enough either. -Defence was not too bad overall, hard to imagine many teams putting a brand new set of safeties out for GB though..... Overall, let's not forget Green Bay is one of the, if not THE, best teams in football right now. I think we played them pretty tough....we just aren't as good as they are right now, especially with a sub-par O Line, erratic QB, no real Number 1 receiver, etc....

    Forte vs Angelo

    Exactly, what MadLith said....too true.
  12. Thanks Connor, will do my best! I will put some pictures up when the time comes. A very special day for me!

    Julius Peppers

Rest in peace Mrs. Urlacher, best wishes to Brian. Great to see the team step up.
  14. Thanks everyone, I am so excited for the game! I am buying my wife and I jerseys, I am getting a "51" Throwback and am getting my wife a "40" Throwback! There are some very avid Bears fans over here in the UK, quite knowledgeable and seem to be really nice guys. I was fortunate enough to be included in a group buy for tickets and we got super good tickets, thanks for Martin at the UK Bears Forum. I am looking forward to meeting the forum members as well.... Let's go Bears tomorrow, I would love to see them beat the Saints! Good luck on that ticket contest 74, it would be great to meet you!
  15. I have received confirmation of my tickets to Wembley, along with many of the UK Bears Fan Club, and am psyched! Have ordered my Butkus/Sayers jerseys for me and the wifey...here we come!!!!
  16. O Lin is at least 3 years from being worth anything better than mediocre status. He is in a new team who only know that they see, which is he is pretty much useless. He plays no role...and will likely be out of the league in a year.
  17. I don't pretend to be an expert, but we are solid on O and D, with good coaching, and our talent level should outdo theirs. Atlanta was supposed to be terrible too...and they didn't look good against the Pack. We win.
  18. Excellent points and I agree we certainly did not get "lucky" last year, the team was a solid team that with a better O Line and more time in the Martz system just might have gotten to the SB....maybe this year?
  19. I read the article and have to admit that MF made alot of sense....I am not aware enough of the appropriate pay level for someone like Forte but it is hard to argue with production. I hope we keep him.
  20. As always, thanks for your review, good stuff!

    Pay' Forte' ???

Have to admit he looked great today...but still don't know if he is going to get that kind of big money.
  22. As I obviously don't know Lance, I don't know whether he has anything in perspective. HOWEVER, from what I do know, he probably has nothing in perspective, as he is an overpaid pampered athlete looking for millions more dollars on top of what he already draws. From what I can see, he is a worthless POS. And if he was equivalent to some of the old greats, is MS or OW, then I might say tolerate it and let him hold on. But he is not. He is ordinary. He is one step above average. I hope the Bears find a trading partner....but I bet they won't, because they all know that he is not anything special, just a solid LB in a system which helps him shine
  23. Terra, it is stupid because running backs do not last any length of time in the NFL as they get beat up. And AP will likely be worthless after a year or two more.
  24. Forte will never get that kind of money....and if he wants it, lets plug Bell in.
