Larry Fitzgerald available for the right price
BearsFan1974 replied to Bears4Ever_34's topic in Bearstalk
Especially with this year's draft class being subpar. Had this been a great draft class, then I'd be skeptical. Knox and a #1 for Fitz and a #3 or 4 would be great. -
I agree with you but my point keeping Smith and Martz will not give us an excuse for Cutler. I think one more year of Lovie and company will solidify canning his ass or extending it. I agree the coaching staff and the front office have shit in all our faces from drafts to play calling. Martz' offense is tough and JA can't be that stupid to let the same O-line take the field next year. I am willing to see one more year. Fisher will still be available next year.

I am a nosey bastard. I not everyone is from Chicago and was wondering what other teams in the major sports you guys like. Me: MLB- White Sox. I hate the Cubs NHL- Blackhawks. Much hate for the Wings and Blues NBA- Bulls. Still hate Pistons and Knicks. I grew up on the north side, went to St Pat's and have a gaggle of kids. Four little crumb snatchers belong to me. Sons 15 and 8 and daughters 13 and 9. Like I said just a little nosey.

I'm making this for the Super Bowl...or whatever else might be on. I am going to sub semolina flour instead of the cornmeal. That what Lou's does so I'm gonna give that a shot. I can't wait. Thank for the recipe. I looked on that sight before and all the dough recipes I found were in weight and I couldn't find a scale in Turkey!!! You and Lith are awesome. I'll post some pics for you guys after.

Then after the 3rd new offense in 3 years for us to learn we can bitch about it more? I'd rather take our chances with Lovie who the players love playing for and the 2nd season of the same offense. Fisher would cost too much. I'm not saying extend Lovie but see what happens next year.
-
Agreed. Hub Arkush just stated on the Score that Fisher is overrated as a coach which I tend to agree with. Because he was a Bear, people are going to go nuts when it comes to hiring him. I think we should stick with Lovie with NO EXTENSION and see what plays next year. Lovie knows he's still on the hot seat especially if he doesn't peform exceptionally.

It was but no slo-mo. It was on his return against Seattle and you just see him fly past.
-
When does Plaxico get out? We could get him for cheap. Just saying...
-
Personally, I want to see what he can do next year to see if he can string 2 seasons together. If so, then yes give him a 2 year extension. If not, bye.

My prediction JA will shit the bed. I win challenge. Game Set Match

In the words of Connor.... THIS!

Even though I'm not looking for trouble, I don't want trouble finding me either...lol

I think Williams should stay put. This way he can go into camp knowing that RG is where he'll be. Having him shift around every few games isn't doing anything for him and making him suck ass as a result. Keep him at G and bring in Mankins and draft a stud LT and a replacement for Kruetz. Yes he played pretty well in '09 and sucked there in '10. You know in this "what have you done for me lately" business, that doesn't fly.

Awesome video!!! Great highlights, and great season. I wish there were newer highlights from last week, but what can ya do? And Griz, you are absolutely right about Cutler. He played his ass off this year and deserves the time off...and next year, I can feel it, he'll be even better and bring our trophies home to Chicago.
-
If I had a twitter account, I would have threatened him too...but I'm 36 and to old for twitter, facebook, myspace, and whatever else these crazy kids are doing these days.
-
I disagree with Hester in the slot. That would open him up to more punishment across the middle.
-
Let him get someone else's money. This way he can't take any returns away from Hester.
-
It's impossible to forget the best team ever.

Great video. Thanks for sharing the light!!!! Hopefully the blind on the board can see the truth.

Happy 25th Anniversary!!! 25 years ago today, the Beloved Bear destroyed the New England Patriots 46-10 in Super Bowl XX. I remember the game like it was yesterday. Unfortunately, I remember Sunday's game too.

I would sign Sidney Rice and Mankins if we can afford it. I would get Manu and Taylor outta here. My draft picks: Round 1: Gabe Carini, LT, Wisconsin Carini is a big balanced LT and will relieve us of the Williams experiment. He is 6'8 320lbs. Round 2: Armon Binns, WR, Cinncinnati Bins is a playmaker with good hands and a big WR at 6'4 200. He will bulk up as well. Round 3: Sam Acho, DE, Texas The Bears need more pressure on the QB and Acho brings that. 6'3 260. He had 8 sacks last year and 5 so far in '10. Round 4: Rashad Carmichael, CB, Virginia Tech Bears need help on the corners. Carmichael has hands and speed. Has 10 picks in the last two years. 4.38 40-time. Round 5: Chris Stewart, OG, Notre Dame Big Guard to take over. 6'5 351...Hate to have to cook for him. Round 6: Quentin Davie, OLB, Northwestern All around linebacker. 15 Sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 5 picks. Plus he doesn't have to move his stuff too far from Evanston. Round 7: Jake Kirkpatrick, C, TCU I agree with Kruetz' age making this pick a necessity. 6'3 305...and if you've seen any TCU games, he can protect the QB.

I agree as long as the staff stays intact. I still think Martz can do more once the line peaks. I think we will find ourself with a #1 WR. Rice is available and so is Vincent Jackson.

The man is tough, no question about it. Everybody is just looking to pass the blame around and Cutler just happened to be the bullseye.
