Another amazing one. WHat is different about Hester is, how short of a time it has taken him to get here. Look at Mitchell, Meggett, Dante Hall...Devin has done it in less than half the time...not even taking into consideration being primarily a WR last year and most of this year. I agree Lith. I only had to scream at the TV 2 times the whole game. Both Cutler picks pissed me off. But he played a great game. He got out of the pocket but made good decisions when he did, it just wasn't happy feet or fear of getting crushed. Hester definitely had his big boy pants on. I would have liked to seen better run blocking from the O-line, but the protection was good...baby steps...but progress nonetheless. I am still thinking about Melton's performance...stellar. The D played great, shutting down Peterson, capitalizing on Grandpa's mistakes. I would have like to see a bit more of the Soldier Field turf on his uniform, but our pressure forced bad decisions. I think Melton was an animal today and Jennings pissed me off. Jennings blew coverage twice which allowed the TD on Harris and then a 42yd pass interference on Manning. Melton seemed to be in on every play. I agree. Why the hell does FOX give Siragusa a microphone. He needs to shut his ass up and stop chiming in. With the exception of a couple bad decisions buy Cutler, we played well. Hester is the man. By far he is the MVP today. Even after Jennings screwed up twice resulting in a TD and a 42yd PI penalty, the D played well. The line played good....not great, but sufficient enough and Cutler played well on the run. I was pleased today.
