  1. Theisman gets on my nerves, especially when he comentates Bears games. He never has a single positive thing to say about them. I like to watch his leg break in slow motion over and over again when he ticks me off.
  2. Thanks everyone! This was a lot of fun to make. YBR is planning on doing more webcasts from the tailgate and is looking to hookup with different tailgaters each week. So it feels good that I could be a part of that last week. I'm going to the Panthers game on Oct. 2nd, so we're planning on doing that again for that game. If you haven't made it out to a Bears game, you gotta do it at least once in your lifetime. There's no other feeling in the world than being surrounded by all the fans and just feeling the sights and sounds of everything going on around you. If you didn't see the pregame tailgate broadcast with YourBoyRoy and me, here is a link. http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/17208038 It's funny how my Atlanta Friend called out the "No Huddle" before the game. And a lot of our points held true during the game!
  3. This is my latest video. This week I had a youtube friend fly up from Augusta Georgia to go to the game with me. This video doesn't have any of my crazy editing or anything off the wall. It's just the sights and sounds of what we experienced at the tailgate and our journey to and from the stadium. I hope you all enjoy this.
  4. I just think that Webb knew where he screwed up the week before, made some adjustments and did well. Yes, he had one false start.....Do it in PreSeason and not the real deal! Maybe I'm big on him because of chatting with him on the internet for part of it, but when you actually see the guy, he is a physical beast and towers over everyone. LOL.....I keep trying to improve things with my videos. I just thought up that looped motion background and decided to put it to use this week. I'll probably do other things this season too, like blow up Lambeu Field or maybe make my own head explode. It all depends what's funny to me at the time. But thanks, I'll that that as a compliment.
  5. I'm not trying to make tv and be professional here. I'm just expressing myself as a fan from my heart and not reading a teleprompter. I'm willing to bet you'd stutter like a MoFo if you cam'ed up and spoke your peace.
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbUKl0R1aoY How do you feel about the taxpayers flipping the bill every time the Organization wants new sod laid on the field? Shouldn't Forte get his money before you run him up the gut? J'Webb's Natural position. These are the things I rant about in this video. Please voice your opinion here and tell me what you think.
  7. You're right about Tice with building a line to run the ball. Tice is known for always wanting to run the ball. The biggest thing that we can hope for here is that our Running Game gets to be very dominate, then the run will open up the game for the passing game. I've got a feeling that Forte is going to put up some big yardage numbers this season, but when we get to the goal line Barber will be punching it in. Urgh.....that's going to make it hard for anyone drafting Forte in Fantasy Football!
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgMEZhkfwwY...093&index=2 YBR does a great breakdown of the offensive line. And I was saying as soon as I was watching my DVR last night that I don't think we'll see Lance Lewis starting week 2 of preseason. He is by far the weakest link on the offensive line.
  9. Originally from Calumet City IL and now living in Plainfield IL in the South burbs next to Joliet.
  10. Damn...you're here too homie? LOL, I just stumbled acrossed this board a few days ago. I gotta see the video tomorrow....I also heard the Lewis looked like crap out there. They played him last season at RG and replaced him with Garza when they moved Garza to right. It's going to be interesting, especially seeing that the Bears will be playing the team that sacked the crap out of us last season, next week.
  11. I had to listen to the game on the radio and watch a choppy streamed webcast while I was working. I've got the game recorded, I'm going to watch it tomorrow. But I've been saying all along that I think Spencer is going to be moved to guard in place of Chris Williams. I won't be shocked if they let Williams go before the season even starts. He's just another in the long line of 1st round busts for us.
  12. LOL....I don't see anything wrong with Roy having a beer. I have a beer in my hands for almost all my videos. Hell, we are all adults and it's not like Roy or myself is getting on cam slurring our speech talking mad imposible crap. I like to use the video as a different way of expressing myself on here. It's a lot easier to just get on cam and say what you think than to just beat a keyboard to death. Roy, Benny, myself and just about everyone on youtube gets accused of being a underachiever, living in their parents basement and not having a life. But the truth is.....that's the furthest thing from the truth. I've got a good career dealing in the fuel industry and I support my family with 4 kids living in Plainfield. (sounds respectable to me) Roy really analyzes the stuff down to a very last detail and as I've said, He's a good friend of my. In fact it's because of him and Benny (SuperDieHard) that I make youtube videos. I actually made a video saying I was going to stop making videos (it was all BS)....and the funny thing was I had Packer, Viking, 49er, New England, and even Steeler fans posting comments asking me not to shut it down. It was hysterical! Hell I have some of my best football talks when I'm plastered off my ass in the McCormick Centers south Parking lot! And everyone I'm talking with always has the time of their live talking about the Bears after a win too. In fact I'll have some of those conversations uploaded on youtube this season too! LOL
  13. YBR reuploaded the video with the corrections. Here is the link again. Give us some feedback and let me know here what you think about his assessment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrWW_rvsIQY&feature=feedu
  14. He must have taken it down because in the video he talks about one of the reporters questioning Drake. He said he thought it was Sean Jensen but instead it was Rick Morrissey. He said he wasn't sure but because he got it wrong I'm sure that's why he took it down. Sorry about that guys. I'll make sure I link his stuff here when he posts it again or so. Roy is a really awesome Bears fan on youtube. If you got a youtube account, you should subscribe to him. Here is his link. http://www.youtube.com/user/sportsfansnetwork
  15. Does anyone have a link to the actual audio of the Drake melt down?
  16. I don't know if any of you have ever followed YourBoyRoy. He used to video tape Training Camp in Bourbonais a few years ago and would upload it onto youtube for the fans that couldn't make it there. Because of him the Bears Org. posted that no video taping practice would be allowed, yet this also forced ChicagoBear.com to raise their standards of the Camp Coverage on their site. Roy has never recieved even a pat on the back for this. LOL....but, he is also a friend of mine and makes some excellent videos breaking down some of the major plays in games and shares a lot of the same oppinion that I do of our team. Check out his video and post on here what you think about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ut0Dg93p7s...feature=feedlik
  17. What I'm scared to death of is one of two things: a) Cutler didn't lift much in the offseason and lost muscle mass He quit taking HGH for fear of being caught with the new CBA. (just for the record I want all our players to be on HGH . . . just win damnit!) I'm sure Cutler wasn't on HGH. Unless.....the double chin he had last season was just another muscle around a really strong neck. But, I really didn't see anything that I would consider alarming with his size.
  18. Do you have any faith in Major Wright? He was either hurt or invisible all of last year. Last year Major Wright got a pulled hammy at Bourbonais which slowed down his development. And I don't think they gave him enough reps when the season went on. I'm a huge Gators fan and watched him play college ball. I've got all the faith in the world with Major Wright. Thanks for the reply Bradjock! After reading all that you have said here and on the other thread about what I think about our radio media......I think we'll get along just fine! LOL. I've been checking out the board and posting since I ran acrossed this last night and it's nice to see a bunch of people that share a lot of the same perspectives. Not only that....but it seems a lot of you are around my age, unlike a bunch of other boards. I'm sure I'll be a regular. Thanks for the welcome!
  19. The Biggest issue that I have is with Boers and Bernstien. These two idiots will go into name calling a caller (a radio listener) well before the caller will even start with them. Both guys are decent media reporters when they are not together, but when they are together they sound and act like kids....I just couldn't handle listening to them anymore. Mully really ticked me off when he did the article on Benson his last year here. Benson was very easy to speak his true feelings about something and when Mully ran the article about Thomas Jones hitting him (after Jones was already gone) and how he was treated by fellow team mates......you knew it was going to be the last we would see of Benson. Journalism like that will just bring out more tension in a locker room, then the players will focus more on that than what they should and that is Winning. North......that's easy to explain....he's a freakin idiot. Pompei, I'm more or less just ticked off at him at the moment. (Don't worry, it soon will pass) He recently had an article explaining that not going to Training Camp in Bourbonais had never seemed like a better idea for this year. Then went on talking about how other teams don't do the dormatory few week camps. And that just got under my skin because of the revanue and busisness that Traning Camp brings to that area, not to mention the great experience it is for fans like us to bring our families. Personally I just think Pompei didn't want to lodge up in a Motel 6, prefers his house somewhere near Lake Forest and didn't think about the fans perspective and how that effects our enjoyment of Training Camp in Bourbonais. But regardless I've switched my station to ESPN radio where I can still here Fred Hewbner (spelling) from time to time, or Urko and Harry. The only time I listen to WSCR now is the pregame or postgame with Doug and OB.....those guys are the best when it comes to game reaction!
  20. Biggs is one of the few Chicago Reporters that I have respect for and actually agree with most of his articles. Most reporters like Mulligan turn to garbage when their heads get too big and they get tied up with radio like WSCR. North, Pompei, Mully, Boers and Bernstein can all go eat a flaming pile as far as I'm concerned.
  21. Believe it or not, but because of my goofy youtube videos I have chatted back and forth with JWebb and his agent. His agent goes by the screen name CameraGyrl and she tossed that info out to me on twitter last week while I was at camp. She puts together his youtube videos and makes him interactive with the social internet. JWebb is really active with his facebook and his youtube. If you ask him a question, he will respond in a video. (when he gets time to sit down with CameraGyrl) Here's a link to his youtube. http://www.youtube.com/user/WIBSports
  22. I think Knox is a good receiver, but not the "Go to" guy that people want to make him out to be. Last season at the end, it seemed like the Bears tried their best to get him an 1000 yard season. How many drops did Knox have in that GB game? They kept force feeding him the ball and he just couldn't wrap his fingers around it. I just can't think of another team in the NFL where Knox would be considered a #1 WR. He is fast.....I give him that. He runs good routes. He's a great compliment to a #1 on the field. But where I question Knox is his hands and when he has to defend a poorly thrown ball. It's very few times I've seen a Bears WR try to knock down a sure interception. And as far as I'm concerned the blame falls on Daryl Drake (our WR Coach) This is why I'm not a fan of his. Roy Williams had a 1300+ yard season the last time he played in Martz's system......I've got my fingers crossed. If this low-cost gamble pays off for us, this could be something big.
  23. I haven't seen much of Conte....at least nothing really noticeable. It appears that Major Wright has the FS position locked down and Hitman Harris will be the SS this year. I've been spending most of my time watching the OLine and the Receivers. As far as the Oline goes, Garza has been doing a good job at center and I now question if the pickup of Spencer was even worth our time of day. Carimi has been solid for the most part, just tends to make the mistakes a rookie would, then gets corrected by Tice immediately. Webb is making a good transition to the left side, but has his hands full with Peppers (who wouldn't). And I am not a fan of Chris Williams.....I think if Spencer does see any action this year it will be either replacing Williams or Lewis at Guard. (still scratching my head on Lance Lewis, he was drafted as a TE 2 years ago) At the WR position it looks like Hurd will be filling in the spot that Rashied Davis had with appearing on the offense but contributing on special teams. Dallas fans I talk with didn't want to lose Hurd. They say he could have a huge upside and was a beast on special teams, he just didn't get the opportunity with the Cowboys. Cutler is throwing a lot to Williams, even when it's a walk through drill. Dane Sanzanbacher could make the practice squad, but I can't wait to see him in preseason. And the Bears let J'Marcus Webb's little brother Travis Cobb walk on and try out for the team. They've let him return some 2nd teams punt and I've seen little tossed is way. But what the Hell, maybe the guy could do something get noticed and play in Arena or Canada.......it was still a nice gesture for the Bears to give him an opportunity. What's really got me wondering about the RB position is Unga. (remember him) He was a draft pick in some off the wall late draft last season that I had never heard of. He is BYU's all time leading rusher and was suppose to make a splash this season. If he makes the team, I think he will be our Fullback.......but I spend half my time at camp looking at the RB's asking myself "Where the Hell is 45?" It's clear that Forte is our guy at starter. The still practice with Chester Taylor, but his reps have been with the 3rd team. And Marion Barber has been worked in mainly with the 2nd team and brought in with the 1st team during short and goal situations. (That's when he's really impressive!) Has anyone here from the board been making trips out to Bourbonais?
  24. Barber has very much looked like a bowling ball at camp. That is why I don't think Chester Taylor will be on the team by the end of next week. I'm guessing that they will cut Taylor and offer Forte a contract possibly in the same day! Financially a smart move. And I wouldn't doubt it if Forte doesn't step foot on Soldier Field till he has a contract. I was rather ticked off that I went to practice tonight. They cut it short because they lost the lights on the practice field. Everyone thought the team was cut loose early and they ran past the crowds looking for autographs. I just now read that they relocated the practice to the local High School without the public. It's been a crazy offseason/preseason so far......lol....makes you wonder what the season is going to be like. Thank you for the welcome too!
  25. I like to try and find the positives. It's hard to cheer for a team or claim to be a fan of a team when all you talk is negative about it. Last season I told everyone that it was one of two directions, either a huge success or a major failure, but I leaned towards the successful season while everyone else said we'd be lucky to break .500 and wanted Lovie's head. The funny thing is nobody expected a NFC Championship appearance, yet when we lost it they felt we were entitled a SuperBowl Championship! This season it's a bunch of questions again. But Roy Williams can be a major factor in that. Yes, he sucked in Dallas but, he knows this season and went to a ProBowl playing in it. He won't have the learning curve that a Rookie this season would have or a FA that would come in from a different system. If the Bears can get past the first 3 weeks with a winning record.......we'll have a damn good shot again this season. At least in my opinion. And I do go to Camp Regularly....they have been looking good! Short and goal shouldn't be an issue with the addition of Marion Barber! Thanks again.
