  1. Keenan is still out there too - wouldn’t be shocked if he ended up coming back. Figure it is here or LA. Don’t think he will go anywhere else. Haven’t looked to see what Chargers did but I could also see Keenan on a 1yr 10M type deal (big cut from last year but with a better coach). I would prefer one of the other guys - just cause it seemed like the broader parts didn’t compliment each other well enough - but I know Caleb got along real well with Keenan.
  2. Cooper Kupp, Amari Cooper or Lockett would all be very good short term deals at wideout. I say Kupp because it seems like he is trending towards a release. Great route runner in slot / 3rd down option for Caleb.
  3. I wonder if Jeanty is a smokescreen and they are trying to hope one of top OT or DEs make it there to 10.
  4. Tyler Lockett would also be a good slot guy on a short-term deal. Older but he's been a model of durability in his career and has made his money on 3rd down.
  5. I'm not going to lie - I have said I'm going to wait until I see in season productivity from this franchise - but Poles and Warren and McCaskey's have killed the off-season. From hiring Ben Johnson and the staff they put in place to how they have upgraded the trenches significantly in the past week - and with a combination of youth and vet's as well. Really really fired up about what they have accomplished - better than anything I could have put on paper and it feels like the draft matches up well for them to really take this off-season next level and truly put the franchise in a position to really accelerate forward. Just don't take Jeanty - I don't do RB's at 10.
  6. Amari Cooper on a 1Yr deal would look great.
  7. This fits DE in Rd 1. Ayo plays both DT and DE. On rushing down's he is outside, but he moves inside a lot on passing downs - which is kind of perfect in terms of length and flexibility and means if you draft someone in Rd 1 at DE (or even with Rd 2 pick) that is a really nice duo along with Sweat. A lot of talent plus versatility if done right.
  8. I would lean towards a trade down or a DE / LT at 10. In free agency at this point - I'd be looking for a potential vet LB to replace Sanborn (unless we like someone in-house) and still need a vet wideout or two. I don't expect any more moves for a while - basically sit and see where the market is. But what I do like is - they invested in the lines, now we just got to hope they found the right players. I also like that these deals are all largely 2 year deals, so the Bears still have a ton of flexibility in play. No doubt the team has made significant investments into the 3 biggest weaknesses of the club (Oline, Dline, HC/Lack of Offensive Minded HC)
  9. Very interesting - they have put their money into the lines and really invested there. I expect we'll also see a couple draft picks there, but clearly RB is going to be a spot they go early (I still hope it is Rd 2 vs. Rd 1).
  10. I think all of these give the Bears quite a bit of flexibility when Caleb would be due to get paid, etc.
  11. And Kiran in year 2 with a full off-season is much better too. I expect they take another olinemen with one of their first 4 picks too.
  12. Let's go - significantly upgrading the interior of the line in a matter of 1 week. Now lets see a dlinemen or two added here...
  13. Super stoked - now if a young LT is there, draft them too. If not - let the competition at LT be there.
  14. TV - X is all over the map right now.
  15. Chiefs signed Moore to be one of their tackles from the Niners. 2Yr 30M+.
  16. That is why you spend now - do it on guys who have a few years in - which gives them plenty to spend in next 2-3 years and than you still are left with plenty of flexibility when it comes to making Caleb work too.
