Bears need to fire Tucker and DeCammilis. Okay, I haven't said that about Tucker all year but about 4 weeks ago I started saying it. Special teams is easily said. Its freakin awful. Defensively, yes there were injuries, but lets look past that because Tucker had time to adjust and had continuity (albeit replacement players) and this team has been nothing but out-schemed, out of position, poor tackling, poor angles, all year. That is very very very much on our coaching and heads need to roll for it. Trestman doesn't know defense...I get it...we learned our lesson with Lovie or I hope we did and we need to stop freakin around and pay big money to someone who can come in and literally run the defense. Find a proven expert and hand them the keys. Pay big money to Phillips or Rex Ryan please. Special mention goes to the following individuals who just suck: - Chris Conte - Shea McScukin (Nfo was right from day one) - Devin Hester (thanks for the greatness back in the day but you are done) - Adam Podlesh I considered listing some more Emery draft picks; Bostic and Greene are freakin awful and if they have any chance we need to get them away from Tucker and into the hands of good coaches quickly.

You are a great poster Cracker. Been spot on all day today.

Tucker is terrible. Poor discipline, poor tackling are on him. I realize injuries hurt us but there is zero excuse for the piss poor execution of this quad. Tucker needs to be fired and Ryan and Wade Phillips are two guys I'd pay a lot of money to to run our D. I'd prefer Phillips because Ryan will probably at some point get another gig.

Screw that. This game decides Jay's future. Play well and make the playoffs, you get your extension with the Bears...don't and you'll get paid by someone else. Cutler was the least of the Bears problems last night. He didn't play good but you play football quite a bit different when you are down 3 TD's before you ever really get a chance to make a play. Tucker/DeCammilis have to be fired.

Wohooo!!!

Supposedly he is truly done. Trestman said it was personal and wouldn't go into more detail. I guess he hasn't healed as much as they were hoping.

Peanut is an all time Bear great and legend. I would be disgusted to see him play in another uni. Hopefully the Bears can work things out. I think he will still be a very effective player.

Bears have 2 tough games ahead. Got to play strong and win out!!! Don't stop...believing...hold onto that feeling!!!
-
It really was pathetic. This is bad because it means Rodgers is playing in 2 weeks.
-
Yeah. He's a freakin tool.
-
Piss off. 3 TD's and practically perfect in the 2nd half.
-
Let's do this boys!!!

If we let him test the market, we might as well let him walk. He's going to get a lot of money if we are playing with other teams. I think the Bears are starting Jay because he is there guy and they will work quickly to sign him to a fair deal for both sides. One that gives the Bears flexibility to keep Marshall and address the defense.

In Minnesota, Trestman failed to step on the throat of anyone. He got so conservative after the Bears built the comfortable lead and stayed conservative in overtime as well. He knew damn well with our defense and a good Cowboys offense that he had to keep his foot down and thankfully the Bears executed (and the Cowboys couldn't hold onto any of the potential interceptions that were thrown).

Had this happened two years ago…we'd have been in business and Lovie would have been HC, we could have hired Kubiak as OC. Someone will hire a great OC in Kubiak. Thankfully our offense is in good shape. Defense…well….I wish we could get Marinelli back or luck into a really good DC being available. Maybe the Texans will fire Wade Phillips. He'd be a great DC if the team did opt away from Tucker. I give Tucker a pass for a lot of things, specifically the injuries, but the overall poor play and blown tackles, that I really have a hard time giving our coaching staff a pass for. I also will puke if Decammilis is still around. He's a freakin joke of a ST guy (and no freaking way should he be our assistant HC).

Our defense was extremely disciplined under Lovie and Marinelli.

I think even without the special teams scoring, etc, those were the offensive scoring amounts. McCown has moved the ball but struggled in the red zone. He has been a great backup but I'll take Cutler as my starter any day of the week. I do think Jay could learn a few things from Josh though and I have full faith in Trest and this offense and as much as I want to complain, I liked some of the 4th down calls (just not the most recent one in the Rams game) and didn't like the field goal call (but Gould normally is automatic in a dome). Either way, it is nice to see this team compete with a backup unlike the past couple years where they completely collapsed. I can't even judge our defense. It is so decimated via injuries it is too hard to evaluate. The sad part is, I thought they played one of there best games through the first three quarters again Minny (it is Minny though). They clearly don't have the pieces to stop the run in the interior and if you can get Melton to sign a fair deal, the team has to, because we only have so many draft picks and a lot of needs on the defensive side of the ball.

I think the messaging could also have more to do with them believing in him and wanting to sign him long term at the right value or thats how I'd message it. I know Cutler has said he's open to it but overall players don't like the franchise cause it prevents them from getting the big lifetime guarantee contract with a bigtime signing bonus.

I wasn't all that impressed with his performance today. Yes, yardage wise was nice, but I thought a lot of stuff was left on the field and I also thought he made some really poor decisions at times. Still, for a backup, he's played superb.

Division is up for grabs. Bears need PAEA and badly.
-
This is going to be a huge test for our run defense and our oline. Lets go Bears!!!
-
Absolutely not.

Why would Mel Tucker switch to a 3-4? I know he has experience in both systems but it wasn't like he ran a 3-4 in Jacksonville.

RIP. A great player and an even better man!
