  1. Nfo...I'm glad your around today cause you've been spot-on all day long
  2. He extended plays and up together a late drive to give the Bears a lead. I'm sick of Bear fans being idiots cause they are making the smart fans look bad and making the city of Chicago look bad. Its one freakin game, relax people.
  3. I'm pretty sure it was the booth or someone that messed up. I completely agree with you though, if Lovie just threw the flag without consulting thats stupid cause that is a challenge you should never lose.
  4. Ya right. Orton would have been sacked 5 or 6 times given the pressure Cutler saw. And I actually like Orton, he turned into a solid, but not great QB. I love Cutler and while he played the worse game of his career he still did a lot of good things, including a 4th quarter drive to put the Bears up.
  5. I completely disagree. In fact, Cutler at the end of the game (maybe not in the 2 minute drill, but in the drive before) put us in position to win the game. And the pick on Knox, had nothing to do with Jay.
  6. Cause the Bears were easing him back as he played in zero preseason games and was a game-time decision today. Bowman is being eased back as well from the bad hammy.
  7. It turned out to be a massive mistake, but its a play you should always do when 12 are on the field. For Pete sake, the Packer WR made a game saving tackle because if he doesn't make that tackle, Wolfe probably has a TD.
  8. I guarantee you Mannelly does. He has done this in the past and to the Bears success. He's the best in the league (by a long shot) and is also very very smart. He runs the show when it comes to that and he has for a number of years.
  9. We had a run d on and the Packers made a great call. Vasher was the dumbass who tried to play bump coverage and really did nothing except get burned horribly. And the only reason Vash was in that situation is due to the Bears DB's being hurt (Bowman/Tillman).
  10. The guys the best long-snapper in the league. He's a very smart guy who made a mistake trying to be smart. I was freakin livid at the time, but the guy is the best in the biz and this is literally the first mistake he's ever made in his career. You guys that are blaming coaching, etc, give me a break.
  11. Get Brooks in immediately, move Briggs to the MLB spot. That is what I expect to see and I think we can survive cause Briggs is legit.
  12. You guys are being ridiculous. See my post in the other thread and I've been a Lovie basher. I realize this game was a huge dissapointment and we should have won it, but I can't put the blame on Lovie. In fact, I walk away from this game pretty happy because the defense played great against one of the best offenses in the league. The offense needs worked but I still felt it looked pretty good, despite all the picks. A lot of what happened is fixable and I expected growing pains given Cutler's inexperience in the offense and his inexperience with our WR's (who are also inexperienced). I wouldn't be shocked to see a Marvin Harrison brought in. Hell, I can even look at Turner and say, good job, you calmed down Cutler and got shit together in the 2nd half. I saw a lot to like, but I wonder if the WR position will be okay. We knew if we were going to have enough weapons on O, it would be because of Clark/Olsen and they were both awful. Bennett grew, Knox had some good and bad, and Hester looks a lot better. I just think we need a veteran who Cutler can look to on 3rd downs.
  13. I must say, Lovie called a gem of a defensive game. They had nice blitz packages and generated pressure without agressively blitzing. As a whole the defense played a phenomenal game and this is coming from the guy that has bashed the D heavily ever since we went to the Super Bowl. Offensively I expected growing pains and I think the preseason raised peoples offensive expectations. The reality is we have a young and inexperienced WR corps and what as of now is a terrible WR corps. We also have a QB learning new personell and a new system so growing pains should really be expected. The only thing I'd really hammer Lovie for is that Fake Punt if he had anything to do with it.
  14. Did Cutler make some dumb-ass throws, absolutely. But did our WR's screw up, absolutely. Did our Oline screw Cutler, absolutely. Jay had pressure all game long and still made quite a few pretty good throws and gave our guys a chance. It wasn't a good game by Jay but even his bad game was good enough to win, imo, and he was absolutely screwed by our poor WR's, something I have constantly bitched and moaned about for a number of years and I'm constantly disgusted by the fact that the Bears have done jack shit to solve that WR problem. Knox made a bad play late, but he looks like a nice player. Bennett had an up-and-down game but given he made his first catch of his career in tonight's game I was actually pretty happy. Olsen and Clark were non-existent, in fact, Clark gave up on two routes, one which led to a pick, and the other would have been a TD.
  15. The guy has the athleticism to be a freak on the field and that is something you have to like.
  16. We can set-up a Yahoo pickem league. It won't be near as good or involved as Pix's but could be a way to at least keep the pick-em's alived.
  17. I just know what my reaction is....booooinng....yep, thats something growing in my pants, bahahaa. Seriously, Jay Cutler is something to be really excited about. Not just for this year, but for the next 5-10 years. He's the type of QB that makes your team a perennial SuperBowl contender.
  18. Cutler doesn't throw to Davis and he likes Ash and Riddeau so those two should make the team. Than you have Knox and Iglesias who you need to protect as Igl was a higher draft pick and Knox really opened up eyes at camp and is a potential return-man as well. That means Davis is the odd-man out.
  19. Except that the Bears had numerous QB's that had struggled with the snap. Rex obviously had a bigger problem with it though.
  20. Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend that game as I have a work conference that same week. They had to make it a Thursday game, booo.
  21. Badass, that would be amazing!!!
  22. If I can't find these, then I'm hoping to get tickets to the Steelers/Bears game at Soldier field.
  23. Awesome, you my friend are the man.
  24. Okay, so yesterday was my anniversary and my gift was a trip to wherever to see the Bears play. I was thinking that I would love to go to Lambeau to see the Bears play the Packers but would have to get tickets at face value (otherwise I'll just get tickets to a game at Soldier field). Does anyone have any clue on a good method of getting Packer tickets?
  25. There might be some slowness today as we will be shifting over the one large database on the site and that tends to be a resource hog. Shouldn't be any outages though, just wanted to give you all an explanation for why things might be running a bit slow.
