  1. Phew...I was worried they wre going to throw a flag since Vasher took down the WR. It was uncatchable though.
  2. Tons of penetration on these running plays by the dline.
  3. With the Bears bringing the safeties up the CB's are gonna have to play really strong cause Collins is good enough of a QB to take advantage of man coverage if Peanut/Vasher aren't on. I think they'll step up, at least Peanut.
  4. Beautiful...Mike Brown blows up the 2nd down play.
  5. And a great job by the oline on that 4th and 1. They manned up. Wow...Tommie Harris makes an appearance...great 1st down stop.
  6. Sounds good 34....you got the task...just PM me when you have it and I'll get it up
  7. freakin eh...beautiful series by Rexy....lots of good throws, only one poor one to Olsen which Olsen made a nice catch. Best pass was the scramble to the right on3rd down where he hit Hester.
  8. Where the freak is the PI....that was ridiculous on Booker.
  9. I'm actually picking the Bears too, but its going to take the best performance of the season...offensively and defensively.
  10. Wow that took balls and I freakin loved it. Now capitalize.
  11. Its gonna be a really tough game. The defense and offensive lines are going to step up if the Bears are even going to have a chance. And at that point it'll come down to Rex making plays. Hopefully he can do it. I have more faith in him than a lot of other teams backups but I will admit the odds are stacked against the Bears on Sunday.
  12. 2yr deal and I'm assuming he's going to get a shot at the starting job. Kind of stupid considering Drew Stanton is young and probably should be getting the starts shortly.
  13. Lets not forget Booker was a high school QB and a pretty solid one at that so there is always the option of getting Marty involved on some trickery.
  14. I'm expecting a strong start to what is going to be a really good 2nd half of the season!!!!
  15. The issues should be gone now as we are done upgrading the security.
  16. We are running some large scripts behind the scenes while upgrading our security settings and that is causing lag and possible few minute outages. This will last for about 24 hr's.
  17. Kyle Orton - Nuff Said Matt Forte - Pretty Impressive John St. Clair - Never expected him to play the way he has at the tackle spot Josh Beekman - Been pretty damn solid, who would have thunk it Devin Hester - Looks like he's developing into a pretty nice WR Honorable Mention: Kevin Payne/Greg Olsen/Dusty Dvoraceck (BEAST) Dissapointments: Tommie Harris - He's shown up for one game....one game and even that wasn't a great game. And he entered the season as arguably the best at his position in the game Brian Urlacher - He's been at best league average, potentially below league average. You don't even notice him on the field. Like Harris he's regarded as the best in the league. Mike Brown - Horrible play; He has excuses though, unlike Urlacher/Harris Nathan Vasher - Injuries were there but this guy was one of the best CB's in the league up until injuries slowed him last year. He looked a step or two slower this season and just wasn't his normal self. Hopefully he'll rebound when he gets back out there and gets back to game speed (cause he was a special player on the Bears, much like Brown) Adewale Ogunleye - Non existent defensive ends, Ogunleye beats out Brown in this category. Honorable Mention: Brad Maynard
  18. I wouldn't blame anyone if they posted it. Aside from a few week stretch at the end of last season he's been a very mediocre player last year and this year.
  19. The articles in the papers are talking him up as a potential replacement if Mike Brown continues to stink. You know your struggling when the media is writing poor stuff about one of the Bears golden boys. Brown has never gotten much bad press but his play has been absolutely horrendous this season.
  20. That would be a potentially good spot for him. Grossman should have options. He won't get a starting job handed to him but I won't be at all surprised to see him start a couple seasons in the NFL somewhere else. I would like to keep him as a backup but I anticipate the Bears signing a veteran backup in the off-season to have behind Kyle while Hanie continues to develop. They could draft a QB, but doing so on the first day just wouldn't be wise given the current needs of the franchise. Grossman would never accept the #2 spot in Chicago, unless there weren't many other options out there (and there should be). This is all based on Kyle continuing to develop.
  21. Aren't the Bears tops in the league out of TE production?
  22. Hard to break a big run when the oline isn't opening up any sort of holes. Still, the Bears need to get Jones more involved in the ground game otherwise we'll see Forte hit a wall around week 12 and our offense will be really screwed.
  23. Payne is getting better each week. He is tremendous against the run and becoming less and less of a liability in pass coverage. I think the Bears have finally find a keeper at the safety spot in Payne.
  24. Vasher looks slow out there but its also hard to judge since he missed significant time last year and the second he finally got enough games this season he went down again. I'd give Brown about 2-3 more games as well as he should improve (and I have seen improvements, still he has been mediocre at best, if not below average out there). However, Tillman is our best corner by far. I could see the Bears moving Vasher a year from now with McBride/Graham both getting promotions. I really am a big fan of those guys. However, neither of them are ready for primetime just yet.
