#3 was a serious fear of mine coming into this year. excellent
-
I think we can do things against their defense, it'll come down to our D and how serious they are against the run. So far so good this year in that dept.

which means lets put Danieal Manning out there to return kicks just kidding, kind of. -
Thank you Saints I sat down to watch this at halftime and NO did absolutely everything I wanted them to do since that moment.

See, Tommie Harris has generally been on winning teams. If he was part of a terminally horrible franchise, he might be seen as a tool as well. Not trying to single him out, but just offering different perspective. Something happens to guys when they never win. Also i'll add that Williams is a choir boy compared to other guys in this league.

Orton is our Franchise QB! (maybe)

oh yea and also orton's unwillingness to take a slide! he is seriously out there to get every last yard on the ground, what a competitor. -

what worries me is Orton's slow release . but he's so quick to take the dump off that maybe he avoids it that way. -

Rex is probably more talented but is not right for this current team. We need a more conservative QB with the makeup of this team. Plus with all the history here, Rex isnt going to get it done in Chicago. Needs a fresh start. That said, with our O-line, i bet we see him before the end of this yr. -

I like Orton but I think we're still due for a first day draftee QB. If for no other reason than we really dont have much QB depth when Rex goes elsewhere. So it's win-win. Orton keeps developing, and the team restocks the position. -
also, i think some people here have to consider the serious YPC stats he's put up with really bad quarterbacks.

in Williams' defense, if he's actually on a really good team, maybe he's a different kind of individual. We've never seen him in a great situation. So, if we're good while he's on the roster, all is solved. Just a theory. All that said, this is hilarious: His frustration was evident to everyone watching Sunday. He threw his gloves up in the air after one incompletion, motioned how high one of Orlovsky's passes were on another and tried to kick one pass that landed at his feet. Williams noted he has not worked much with Orlovsky during practice and said he thinks Kitna should remain the starter. "It's just frustrating to me to be an 0-4 team with all this talent that we have on this football team," Williams said. "I believe that the defense came out to play in his game. We didn't help them on the offensive side of the ball. If we would have helped them early, this game would have went a lot different. It didn't and it got out of hand and the rest is history." Some 30 minutes after the game ended, Williams was still sitting in his locker, staring at his phone and picking at his socks. It's well-known he is in the final year of his contract, but Williams took exception to suggestions that his on-field flamboyance Sunday indicated he wants to leave. "If I didn't want to be here -- let me clarify this for everybody -- I wouldn't go in [the game]," Williams said. "Fine me. I've got the money to sit down on the sideline. So if I didn't want to be here, I wouldn't play. When the ball is thrown my way, I'm trying to go to the end zone." That didn't work out too well Sunday -- for Williams or the Lions.

Why arent we already pulling guys out of this game? Injuries are bound to happen constantly
-
Rashied Davis really irks me as a receiver. He's just not good enough to be thrust into this prominent a role. And I understand there's an injury right now, but i'd stlil rather have a more dependable possession WR. Hester is small and quick but also is an x-factor reliability wise.

Lance Briggs has really become the most dangerous guy on this D
-
Jamar Williams got crunched on that. EDIT: Roach

ding ding ding.

Booker's hands are unreal.
-
I'm not a Cubs fan, but so many people i know are going to feel better today if Forte runs for 220.
-
All the fans were right about Benson's badness, but then again they were wrong b/c they all seemed to want Mike Williams, who...somehow some way, was actually worse.

What team doesnt have failed draft picks? Several of the guys you list are brand new and havent even been put on the field much yet. The post responding with the list of pro bowlers says this better than mine - but yea, we have had draft victories as well. This sport has soooo many players on a roster. You can find any team and find guys they had to cast off.

Booker is actually beating people somehow. Find him.

i wonder if this game will sink further into 'humorous bad' fortunately for us Tampa hasnt been that good, we're just being pretty darn bad.
