Williams was on the fieldgoal unit.
-
Lets just hope he'll back by next week...
-
pretty stupid as it's just a waste of money considering they have no shot of competing within the next couple of years. Millen really hosed up that team for a while, and I love it.
-
If he does play, hopefully it will be at RT to replace Tait.
-
Rams, Cardinals, Browns, Seahawks, and 49'ers could all be pretty tough games. Especially the Browns when they will finally replace Anderson with Quinn. Seahawks season has been ruined by Hasselback's injury, and the 49'ers are only getting better. Hell, why are the Cardinals even on that list? They are leading their division and they have a great offense and an improving D, and I'd bet Suggs signs with them in the offseason. This is a pretty stupid thread if you ask me.
-
Wonder how smart he is in the 3-4 now that he is in his 2nd year with the Chargers.
-
It's a toss up between Tait and Garza for our worst lineman. Either way, they both suck right now. Kreutz isn't the same player he used to be, but he is leaps and bounds better this year than he was last year.
-
No way he wants to return, and I don't really want him back.
-
not to be buzz kill or anything, but Chris Johnson probably has the advantage in the OROY category right now.
-
Jason, believe me, DE's are a big problem. Brown has been a stud this year, but Mark Anderson has been tossed around like a rag doll and Ogunleye has quite simply vanished. We need a replacement for Anderson and potential replacement for Ogunleye (only 1 more year left on his contract). I would love to get Brian Orakpo out of Texas, but he's going top 5-10. The guy is a stud and a freaking animal.
-
Mike Brown isn't the same player he used to be, but you'd have to be naive to expect the same player after all those injuries. So far Mike Brown hasn't been good, but he hasn't been awful. He's been decent, and we need a replacement for the near future.

Mark Anderson needs to learn some new moves. He's 6'4", 255 (at the most), with great speed and a very good burst. However, he only has one move, and that is the speed rush on the outside. Since teams have figured this out, it is very easy to block him. He doesn't have the upper body strength to bull rush anyone besides a high school o-lineman. He needs to get a better feel as to what the Olineman is doing and quite simply, come up with some better moves. He could be trade bait to some 3-4 team in the offseason.

I know Graham has played great lately, but there is no doubt that a healthy Vasher will provide us with an upgrade. Plus, Graham is better vs. the more physical receivers, while Vasher is better vs. the quick receivers. Plus, as we have seen, we need Graham on our coverage units for special teams. However, with Tillman and Vasher getting banged up so much this season, it would be very wise to rotate Graham and McBride in. Manning has been fine at nickle back, hopefully he will return after the bye as well.

Our problems can be fixed with a couple simple solution... 1.) Get healthy. Our young corners made some good plays on Sunday, but to be honest, those were picks most corners should make. We need Tillman and Vasher back and both healthy. Also, Tommie Harris needs to find some spring in his leg. 2.) Find a pass rush with the front 4. In our D, it is vital for the front 4 to get to the QB, but if they don't offer any pressure, it's extremely easy for any schmuck QB to find the holes in our pass D. We need Ogunleye to not suck and hopefully Tommie gained some confidence from this past Sunday and returns to form. Some line stunts might help this, but I'm not a fan of line stunts at all as if the offense has the right run play called, the D is hosed. Plus, any mediocre NFL Olineman can easily read and pickup a stunt.

Criticizing Babich and questioning his schemes is one thing, but where does someone get off by calling Babich a complete idiot who has no idea what he's doing? I know that's not what Hampton said exactly, but it's what he meant. Also, I highly doubt that Babich is completely in charge of the D. I'd be absolutely shocked if defensive coordinator isn't just a title for Babich and that Lovie is actually in charge of the whole D.
-
what the hell are you complaining about? Clark has been fine this year, and he is on pace for 40 receptions for about 500 yards. I'll take that any day from the blocker in a TE duo.
-
pssh, all he has to do is clean out his couch cushions and he'll pay for the fine easy.
-
they didn't pick on Tillman per say, but rather Tillman was always on their guy Roddy White.
-
hopefully this will finally give us an excuse to cut Metcalf, even if his sucky play wasn't a good enough excuse.
-
Our special teams played like shit today. Our pass D played like shit today. Unacceptable to allow 3rd and long after 3rd and long to be converted. I am officially off the playoff bandwagon. These 2-3 games we've blown against Atlante, Carolina, and the Bucs is gonna haunt us when it comes December and we are fading for the NFC North Title. The rest of our schedule is no cake walk, and I could easily see us lose 5-6 of the next 9 games. freakin pitiful.
-
we are now 3-3 when we should be 5-1 or 6-0. Great. And why exactly did we pick up this scrub Hamilton? Even our offense made him look like shit, and now he is making our D look even worse then it is. Also, what the freak was up with that squib kick? Are you freakin kidding me? You have to make them earn their yards in that situation. And Ron Turner actually had a good game, but what the freak was he thinking in that drive in the 4th when we are at the one yard line? A FB dive? We've already dealt with this shitty experiment, and if you haven't realized it now, McKie freakin sucks. That 4th down call was no better. How don't you call a QB sneak from the 1 foot line? My god. And Vasher and Tillman better come back fast cause our pass D freakin sucks. And while we're at it, can we cut Mark Anderson? I'm sick of seeing him getting thrown around like a rag doll.
-
Surprizingly, Garza and Tait have been our worst linemen this year.
-
Hopefully in place of Tait...
-
Tillman is simply the better player. I like both a lot and both are very good players, but Vasher is a bit overrated because of all those picks he got.
-
Detroit's whole defensive game plan was to stack the box and stop the run... so why run when they are giving us the pass?
