  1. for Otah, his 40 doesn't really mean shit unless it was below 5 or above 6. He is a big massive tackle. If he ran a .3 second faster 40, no one would care, and .3 seconds doesn't mean shit especially when you are a big ugly. Also, 40 times are the most overrated workout. Last time I checked players aren't running practically naked with track shoes on a fast track when they play football.
  2. Just in case if it hasn't been mentioned, the deal is 1 year worth 1.5 million w/ incentives up to 3 million.
  3. KC has no interest in a QB... they are sold on Croyle for at least 1 more year.
  4. 2-year deal would scream Flacco or some other first day QB in the draft... as ideally you'd like to have that QB develop for a couple of years.
  5. rumors are that the falcons are falling in love with him...
  6. the thing is, you fix the OLine, and you make the QB, RB, and WR all better... I don't know by how much, but you do.
  7. If we sign all of Briggs, Berrian, Harris, and Ayanbadejo... you can kiss any wild dreams about Faneca away.
  8. take what bears 88 says with a gain of salt... just look at his sig and avy. Obvious bias and homerism. I think Grossman is the most "talented" QB of the 3, but he is easily the worst player of the three.
  9. you guys can spend all the money you want on tickets... I'll enjoy the games in the comfort of my home in front of glistening HD.
  10. I just don't think it's that big of an issue. Is it an issue, sure. But this has been his first serious injury. I don't know, I guess I just have a different point of view and going on with this anymore would just being going in circles.
  11. that is why I put statistical. 06 was his best season until the injury.
  12. In all fairness, Calvin Johnson and Mario Williams will both be the top players at their position soon enough. But yeah, top 5-10 picks and their bonuses are getting way out of hand.
  13. I think all this injury concern stuff is a bit unwarranted. The guy had one injury and even though he was hurt pretty much all this past season (lingering effects of the previous injury), he put up his best season statistically.
  14. Well, we have about 20-25 million in cap space, and most deals are backloaded anyway.
  15. Tommie Harris will be the highest DT paid in the NFL, plain and simple... and rightfully so.
  16. If that is how our offseason goes... hot damn! That is highly unrealisitc, but would be an absolute perfect offseason
  17. I think Idonije is officially gonna move over to UT now. That Bazuin pick is looking bad right now though. At the time it made sense since it seemed Brown was on his way out, but after this past season, it looks like JA and Lovie realized that Anderson's best and most productive role is situational pass rusher. Well, at least we have good depth at a very important position.
  18. Yes, Hester and Bradley can stretch the field, but neither have proven that they can catch. Berrian has proven to be our big play guy and no. 1 receiver.
  19. Early guesses would be Walker and Miller. Miller is a no brainer but I wouldn't hate bringing back Walker w/ a restructured deal.
  20. Berrian > Johnson. Johnson is more of a possession receiver who can't really stretch the field. Booker and Johnson would be a horrible combo as neither would be able to stretch the field. Berrian on the other hand can, and has been turning into a play maker in his own right.
  21. Lilja won't get franchised. The colts are gonna use their tag on Dallas Clark. The Colts can get Fred Miller and turn him back to decent. They have the best OLine coaches in the league and play in a great system. Odds are that they let both of their guards go and then sign some no name and draft an unkown prospect and turn them into above average starters. And Lilja and Scott both will be crap or at the very best mediocre for whichever team signs them.
  22. Nobody mentioned him because he will get franchised, if he hasn't already, by the Panthers.
  23. Mayock and all the "draft experts" always make crazy bold prediction to try and get more publicity... McFadden is still the no. 1 RB and will be long gone by 14. Don't let some D-Bag "draft experts" fool you.
  24. I think it was actually closer to 8. I cannot recall a single pick within the first 20 picks that didn't use the whole clock.
