http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_7850208 I would welcome him with open arms, he'd be the no. 1 here, no doubt.
-
damn, I didn't know he was having that good of a season... I concede on this one, even though he is far from the 3rd best safety in the league.
-
I wonder if we can perhaps work out a reconstruction of Moose's contract... tell him that he sucks and isn't worth no. 1 money, but you know the system and are a clubhouse leader, so either reconstruct your contract where you make more around a 2 or 3 rather then a 1, or get cut.
-
I see you want to add Hamlin, but there is a reason why the Cowboys probably won't resign him... he has sucked this year.
-
He has improved at FS and they will start the season with him at FS. If they can actually teach him to wrap up and go for the tackle first rather then the strip, and with some time to develop with his pass coverage, he can be a very good FS. They hosed him up at the beginning of the season by making him switch between corner and safety. But he has had a strong second half and will start next season, they aren't going to throw him to the curb in his 3rd season, especially after they spent a high 2nd round pick on him.
-
I don't know what you have been watching, but Danieal Manning has had a very good second half and is secured into the FS spot next year. They are not going to give up on him after he has improved in his first 2 seasons and will be entering the crucial 3rd year.

Oh yeah, he said he likes the core of the offensive line, and I think Brown will be brought back. Miller is pretty much gone, IMO, and I see them keeping Garza but also bringing in someone in the 3rd or 4th round to add some competition. Also, he said they want Grossman back but he sees stability at QB happening eventually in the future (me thinks a draft pick on the 1st day with QB). And Berrian was talking to 670thescore, and he said he wants to stay a bear, and money isn't the most important thing, he wants to know what his role will be and how they will address the QB situation as well.
-
I listened to the live press conference on 670 just a couple of minutes ago. It seems like Lovie wants both Alex Brown and Briggs back. All the coaches will likely be brought back (but one or two will be fired as scapegoats). Him talking up Hester to be a no. 1 makes me think they are going to let Berrian go (which is stupid, IMO).

I think after these two games, that the team might just decide to stick with Brown and Wolfe as the other two backs w/ Benson...
-
I know all of that. I'm just so used to him being called and calling him AD on a different board I am at, it's not right for him to be called AP...
-
oh yeah, this is what I see the final result as... 01 - Miami 02 - St. Louis 03 - Atlanta 04 - Kansas City 05 - Oakland 06 - N.Y. Jets 07 - New England (from SF) 08 - Baltimore 09 - Cincinnati 10 - New Orleans 11 - Buffalo 12 - Denver 13 - Carolina 14 - Chicago 15 - Detroit 16 - Arizona 17 - Minnesota 18 - Houston 19 - Eagles 20 - Tampa Bay 21 - Dallas (from CLE) 22 - Tennessee 23 - Seattle 24 - N.Y. Giants 25 - Pittsburgh 26 - San Diego 27 - Dallas 28 - Green Bay 29 - San Francisco (from IND) 30 - New England (forfeited) 31 - Washington (become a true miracle story and the team rallies behind the help from their lost friend and teammate, but come up short in the superbowl) 32 - Jacksonville (dominate in the playoffs due to their hard nosed style of football)
-
Okay, this is what i believe the draft order will look like for the most part... 01 - Miami 02 - St. Louis 03 - Atlanta/Kansas City/Oakland (coin flip)^ 04 - Atlanta/Kansas City/Oakland (coin flip)^ 05 - Atlanta/Kansas City/Oakland (coin flip)^ 06 - N.Y. Jets 07 - New England (from SF) 08 - Baltimore 09 - Cincinnati 10 - New Orleans 11 - Buffalo/Denver (coin flip) 12 - Buffalo/Denver (coin flip) 13 - Carolina 14 - Chicago 15 - Detroit 16 - Arizona 17 - Minnesota 18 - Houston 19 - Eagles 20 - Tampa Bay* 21 - Washington* 22 - Dallas (from CLE) 23 - Tennessee* 24 - Seattle* 25 - Pittsburgh* 26 - N.Y. Giants* 27 - San Diego* 28 - Jacksonville* 29 - Green Bay* 30 - San Francisco (from IND)* 31 - Dallas* 32 - New England (forfeited)* ^-The coin toss will be between Atlanta and Kansas City because they are in different conferences and Oakland will not be involved because they have a better conference record then Kansas City (which means they can not pick higher then Kansas City). If Atlanta wins, there will not be another coin toss for the 4th or 5th pick because Kansas City wins the tiebreaker for the higher pick. However, if Kansas City wins the coin flip, then there will be another coin flip between Oakland and Atlanta since they are in different conferences. *-playoff team whose pick is still not completely determined because the playoffs still can determine where they pick.

This is what I got... 01 - Miami 02 - St. Louis 03 - Atlanta/Kansas City (coin flip) 04 - Atlanta/Kansas City (coin flip) 05 - Oakland 06 - N.Y. Jets 07 - New England (from SF) 08 - Baltimore 09 - Cincinnati 10 - New Orleans 11 - Buffalo/Denver (coin flip) 12 - Buffalo/Denver (coin flip) 13 - Carolina 14 - Chicago 15 - Detroit 16 - Arizona 17 - Minnesota 18 - Houston 19 - Eagles 20 - Dallas (from CLE) 21 - Tampa Bay* 22 - Washington* 23 - Tennessee* 24 - Seattle* 25 - Pittsburgh* 26 - N.Y. Giants* 27 - San Diego* 28 - Jacksonville* 29 - Green Bay* 30 - San Francisco (from IND)* 31 - Dallas* 32 - New England (forfeited)* *-playoff team whose pick is still not completely determined because of superbowl.

I am close to positive that Oakland will get the 5 pick since they have a better conference record then Kansas, and that Kansas and Atlanta will be determined by a coin flip because they are in seperate conferences. So, that looks pretty close to correct to me except for the playoff teams.
-
okay, does the team with the better divisional record pick ahead or behind the team it is tied with? If the team picks behind, then we will be picking at 14th because the Lions have a better divisional record then us.
-
looks like we are actually tired for the 14th pick w/ the Lions and it will come down to a coin flip.
-
Tim Tebow is a really bad NFL QB prospect as well...
-
Sorry, but I hate when people call the good Adrian Peterson "AP"... he isn't "AP", he is "AD".
-
You need a passing game but you certainitely don't need the top passing attack to be successful. Look at the Jags.
-
I think every offensive assistant coach needs to be fired...
-
Cards beating the shit out of the Rams... 24-6 at half. And Broncos winning 14-3... so far so good!
-
I really hope Favre doesn't retire... it won't be the same beating up on the Pack if it didn't mean we get to punish old man Favre as well.
-
I wonder how many DB's we'll have... I think for sure we will have 9 DLinemen with how many injuries we seem to get on the line and how Lovie likes a rotation. Now, the question is will we carry 6 or 7 linebackers? I think we might carry 7 since how Lovie and Angelo like to have a strong special teams and we have 2 or 3 linebackers who are usually just special teamers... I could see 4 safeties, 4 corners, and a guy who can play both.
-
I know, I'm just f'ing with him...
-
I thought you had me on ignore...
