  1. Did I ever say Rex can't make the throws? No, he just can't read defenses, has a cocky gunslinger attitude, and just plain isn't a good QB. And I lied, I will criticize the QB's all I want. I just won't give them as much blame. Orton is good backup material, IMO.
  2. oh yeah, anyone else notice how Kreutz was absolutely brutal with the shotgun snaps today?
  3. no, no, no, NO! Either Ryan Clady or Jeff Otah.
  4. It's not hating Grossman, it's just a simple fact that he isn't a good QB.
  5. that was the only thing that I liked. Orton felt the pressure pretty good and was able to step up in the pocket, something he can do because he isn't a midget and can see above the line. He just needs some more work on his accuracy.
  6. oh yeah, why exactly does Lovie/Turner feel the need to constantly start Miller? Is is the veteran love crap?
  7. Wolfe needs to be moved to WR...
  8. This still doesn't make Grossman good, as he sucks just like the rest of them on the roster.
  9. crazy idea, but how about Mike Tice as our OC?
  10. With no running game, one of the worst offensive lines in the league, and no real go to guy, you can't expect the QB to do much. This draft should consist of at least 2 first day OLinemen and we need to sign Faneca. Before I was against this idea, but it needs to be done. Moose can stay, only because the majority of his contract has been paid and he is still a decent target. Berrian, I want to see kept but if we sign Faneca the choice is between him and Briggs, and Briggs plays a much more important role then Berrian.

    Wow

I'm not saying the throw shouldn't have been completed, but it was by no means an easy throw... he had the linebacker underneath and the safety coming from up top.
  12. I really want to see us win the next 3 games, and finish the season off at .500... We might get 3 useless wins and lose about 5-7 slots in the draft, but I'd rather have the stepping stone of 3 consecutive victories heading into next season. Plus, beating the Vikings and lowering their playoff chances and beating the Packers and possibly ruining the top seed for them would be sweet.
  13. 17-26, 234 yards, 2 TD's... Bradley will be his go-to-guy as well, having his best game since the Detroit game he got injured in.
  14. I really don't care if he's a man whore who's a punk father... there are plenty of people like him and many more who are even worse. To be honest, unless these players are committing illegal activities, I really don't care about their private lives, because it's THEIR lives, not mine. All I need to know about Briggs is that he isn't a complete jackass and is a great football player. I want him in Chicago for a LONG time.
  15. Don't worry, Orton will dominate and we wil have found our franchise QB...
  16. I like Babich and think this was just a rough "rookie" season for him. I think he will improve next season and become a very good DC... however, we all must remember that Lovie is pretty much the lead DC anyway.
  17. I take that back... I thought the Redskins with tonights win became 8-6, but they are only 7-7. WE ARE STILL ALIVE AHAHSHAHAHDFUJDHJ!*&*(!
  18. Bears are officially eliminated I believe now, since even if we win out and Washington loses out, they hold the tie breaker with us.
  19. Besides having a better arm and being younger, give me an example of Grossman being better then Griese. And if you give me the Rex lead us the superbowl crap, I'm gonna slap you. That's like saying Orton lead us to 10 wins in 05.
  20. That he's better then Grossman.
  21. I don't know if you realized this or not, but I said no thanks to overpaying for Faneca. If he was at least 2 years younger I'd have little-no problem with it, but he aint... However, with Brown who might be old as King Tut, we'd be able to sign him cheap.
  22. To me, Grossman's play from the beginning and at the end just show how inconsistant he is.
  23. Well, the Arch-Lovie reunion didn't work so much, but with a little neckbeard magic, lets hope this reunion works out better.
  24. no thanks to overpaying for the 32 year old... We'd be wise to resign Brown on the cheap, draft a franchise LT, and add competition at RG for Garza. We would possibly upgrade 4 spots on the OL... Franchise LT who doesn't bust and makes an impact > Tait (I know, this is the biggest if) Healthy Brown > Injured Brown/Metcalf Tait at RT > Miller... Tait was originally a RT and will probably perform at a high level at RT Garza with competition/rookie > Garza (second biggest if)
