  1. Greg Fassit, CB Antonio Garay, DT Mark LeVoir, OT Anthony Oakley, OG Tyler Reed, OG David Ball, WR Fontel Mines, TE to go along with Jermaine Allen. However, if I am right, this leaves one spot open because Jermaine Allen does not count against us as he is part of the NFL international development thingie. So I would assume the final spot would go to a QB, most likely Leak, if he clears waivers.
  2. I am waiting for the conspiracy theorist posters on here to come out and say: "Rex Grossman had QB's Coach Wade Wilson order him HGH!"
  3. Is someone gonna make one? I would if I could, but I suck and don't have access to photoshop.
  4. I was close. Surprised at that they kept 8 LB's. McClover is a good special teams player, but I suspect that when Obafami Ayanbadejo comes back, McClover will likely be the odd man out. I'm also not really surprised that Bazuin got IR'ed - hopefully he will come back next season fully healthy and in shape to replace Alex Brown and/or eventually Ogunleye. I expect to see Leak, Garay, Levoir, Reed/Oakley, and Ball all being added to the practice squad. I see that Jermaine Allen player will not count against the practice squad, so we will really have 9 instead of 8.
  5. I don't see how Brown can be considered THE team leader on D when he has been injured over the past 2 years. He is a leader, but Urlacher is by far THE team leader on defense. On offense, it is no question.
  6. He was a late round draft pick for crying out loud. He has shown some good special teams potential and looks like he could start down the line.
  7. With the 6th receiver race done with the offense is set with 25 players... I wonder who will win the final spot on defense. It looks like the Bears will keep 9 DL (Harris, Walker, Adams, Dvorecek, Idonije, Anderson, Ogunleye, Bazuin, Brown). We got the 3 starting line backers and Ayanbadejo and Jamar Williams locks to make the team. Rod Wilson has looked really good and so has Okwo, but Wilson looking better and having more experience I think he would get the job as the 6th LB. I don't know if they'd have room for 7 LB though. And as for DB's, we have 7 spots locked up for sure with McGowan, Graham, and McBride all looking good in preseason. I wonder if Okwo might perhaps be placed on the IR. I personally think both McGowan and Graham have earned a spot on the 53. So, that leaves the final spot down to probably Okwo and McBride... IMO.
  8. I really dont think this is or will be as big of a deal as some of you are making it out to be.
  9. What surprised me the most is how bad the niners played. I have them pegged to win the West, but if they play like this in the regular season, my prediction is gonna be horribly wrong. Their defense put no pressure on the quarterback and were leaving wide receivers so open, that I could have hit them for completions. And they really didn't do anything on offense. Perhaps they just didn't want to show their schemes to the Bears and the world, because they didn't do anything. Maybe Gore does add all of that to their offense?

  11. Any quarterback - suck + this loaded team = win.
  12. They showed replaces of the Snaps... Kreutz made a perfect snap each time, Rex just pulled out too early as usual. Plus, Kreutz is the best center in all of football and shouldn't even be considered a suspect.
  13. It didn't say we are a dynasty but rather we have the best chance at becoming the next dynasty. And it is hard to disagree with that, if you ask me. I'm not gonna say this team is a dynasty, but if we can get consistently GOOD QB play for the next 5 years, it will be tough not to become a dynasty.
  14. You seem to forget that those 5 games were against weak teams. Green Bay, Minnesota, Buffalo, Seattle, and Detroit. Now, some of those teams turned out to be decent/good, but in when we faced them they were crap. It wasn't until vs. the Cardinals that a team finally put pressure on Rex and exposed his weakness. The other day the Colts put some pressure on Grossman and got the fumble. Look how he responds. A pick and two muffed snaps. Week 1 should be interesting against San Diego as Merriam will probably be causing a lot havoc as he usually does.
  15. Hey, I want Grossman to do good, but fumbling snaps is just pathetic. Preseason or not, that is not allowed. I'm not even that pissed about the horrible interception or him not protecting the ball on the strip as I am about the dropped snap. I want him to do good, but so far, he hasn't shown us any reason to believe that he has changed. What will the excuses be during the season if he fumbles 2 snaps and throws 2 picks in a game?
  16. BS they meant nothing. Grossman preforms like this next week, he should be benched.
  17. I call BS on this since Drew Stanton was one of the most inconsistant QB's in college.
  18. I've said this before, but I'll say it again. I want some consistency! No more of MVP caliber Rex one week and then suckface Rex the next. I want to see some consistency so for once and for all we will know if Grossman can/will take us to the superbowl. And don't give me that shit that he took us to the superbowl last year. The Defense took us to the superbowl last year. And the dropped snaps are so freaking inexcusable. To me that shows cowardness. He doesn't trust his o-line so he is pulling out to early. SOmething needs to be done about that. That should never happen throughout a whole season.
  19. This team could compete in the AFC. Thats something a lot of teams in the NFC wouldn't be able to say.
  20. My only worry is that they can be burnt. Well, it depends on how Mike Brown's speed is.
  21. I think this is what was talked about when Babich first took over. I think Babich is gonna be a helluva a DC and we won't miss Rivera at all.
  22. I saw this on ESPN inside training camp a couple days ago. They also said he has been watching film on LT...
  23. I was exhausted last night and fell alseep in the 2nd half. I liked what I saw from Dusty, a lot of emotion and always around the ball. But there were a lot of mistakes and bad play that I am sure that Lovie is gonna get fixed starting tomorrow in practice.
