  1. We also signed David Ball. I don't think Walker will beat out Wolfe, but he could be very good insurance on the PS... that is if no one else signs him off of it.
  2. I like it. He can stay on the practice squad and develop some, and I bet he and Grossman are gonna become good friends from day 1, if they aren't already. He can develop into a really good back up, and plus, he's a winner.
  3. lol, yeah. I get the weird O names mixed up sometimes.
  4. Aaron Brant, an offensive tackle. I really don't care about this pick because anyone we picked here would be lucky to make the practice squad in the first place.
  5. freak San Diego... he is going to a major steal if he stays healthy. I noticed Darius Walker is still available. I wouldn't want to draft him, but I wouldn't mind bringing him in if he becomes a UDFA.
  6. I know that, but at 241, he would absolutely no risk what-so-ever.
  7. I'm going to put it this way, if Siler is there with our next pick, we better take him.
  8. Brandon Siler still on the board. Shocked really. He was viewed as 1st round material possibly, and if he stayed, some thought he would be a lock for the 1st round next year.
  9. I concur, that is a good pick. He reminds me of McNair in a couple of ways to.
  10. Wendling would have been a better pick, but Payne is a good pick as well. I don't necessarily agree with the players who were picked, but I like the positions. But seriousily... Payne over Wendling? They are both the same built, except Wendling is faster and has more burst. That pisses me off. But then again, there is that question, why has he been falling? That Graham guy seems like a good pick though. Good fit for the cover 2. Good bye Wesley.
  11. Troy Smith still there... I wouldn't mind seeing Orton dumped and Smith picked up to be a developmental guy. We haven't had a guy like him at QB since Kordell Stewart I really want Wendling if he is there in the 5th. He would replace Todd Johnson on this team, and add good depth. He could become a real steal. We could develop him some over 2-3 years, and when one of either Brown or Arch go, he can take their place.
  12. He's black. Hope Wendling falls to us... Brandon Siler would be tempting if he's there to. ALso, David Baker wouldn't be bad.
  13. Bennett is gone, and Leonard went early 2nd. Wendling would be a great value pick here.
  14. I wouldn't mind Fred Bennett or John Wendling.
  15. You know, I am starting to warm up to the pick. Turns out Jackson was already taken and I didn't notice, and Bush didn't really fit a need (but was very intriguing to say the least). Pittman, I'd probably rather have him though. But if Wolfe can get up to 190-195 area and keep most of his speed, agility and burst, he could turn into like a mini version of Warrick Dunn. Not as good of course, but he could have his times. Plus, he is a chicago native. We could have a real good thing going... Benson - main guy Peterson - 3rd down back Wolfe - Situational 3rd down back (plus reciever?)
  16. oh wow... I completely missed Jackson getting drafted. I thought he was still there. Appearently GB took him in the 2nd with the compensetory pick. The Wolfe pick doesn't seem as bad anymore actually. But Pittman would have been much better. Hopefully he can build himself up some more, get up to about 190, without lossing much speed or burst. Maybe he can turn into Dunn Jr. Also, anyone know where P.J. Pope is? I remember he looked great in preseason last year, and the team loved him. It'd be nice if we could bring him back to compete in camp.
  17. I kinda agree with that, but Dunn is/was built. He might have been 5'7" 180-190, but he was built like a rock. Wolfe seems frial, to me at least.
  18. I'm just saying, Brown and Ogun have been very mediocre for us. I didn't say Bazuin was better or anything.
  19. I'm not. This was a very week OL draft. Next year will be the year for OL, and JA is gonna jump all over it, IMO.
  20. Ogun and Brown are nothing something to be proud of as our starting DE's... we need improvement.
  21. hmmm? Bazuin ran a 4.7 40, which is pretty good for a DE. And he is pretty athletic. He is very quick off the ball and causes havoc. Who cares what they look like.
  22. man... we passed up Daymeion Hughes! He would have been a perfect fir for the cover 2 and to replace a leaving CB in 08 (well, likely one of them is leaving) I agree with you completely. I don't want to get upset, because I did the same thing last year. JA always seems to come out on top, no matter what.
