I hate McKie and if Johnson comes back id rather we cut McKie than Runnels.

.. he was kind of setup to fail though so its different. He would of been perfect for our old defense. And a player can only adjust his game so much to fit into different systems. The day Dick Jauron was fired was the days Haynes had no chance of being a longterm keeper on this team.

I think Gage will prob be cut over Currie...

I dont see how the Lions offense is anymore settled than ours. Their QB situation is no better really Kitna had 1 good season but really is a good backup is what id call him and McCown is as unproven as Grossman and probably less talented. We have 2 RB's that can start on a lot of teams they have 1 and that 1 was pretty bad last season.... Their WR situation is no better than ours either... they have 1 guy they can turn to(Roy Williams) and so do we(Moose) and our O-Line is much better than theirs.

little surprised to see Haynes let go... Id rather cut Gage originally and than if we get Rogers let go of Haynes as well. Glad we kept Runnels though really like the kid. Also im assuming Wallace will be on our practice squad team.

I remember wasnt it his 1st or 2nd game he had 3 TD's already.... Id gladly cut Gage and replace him with Rogers. Carry the extra WR since all of them are a bit injury prone.

I think I know why we kept Airrese Currie now... he dropped a couple passes sure but damn he has a knack to get open and if Rex threw that one bomb a little farther he would of had it easy. Im actually pretty excited about him now that I saw him play live. Also man Devin Hester is going to be fun to watch.

They give him a week 2 find a trade but than demand 2 1st rounders for him? That probably will just piss him off anymore because he would be wasting his time since no team is going to give that up. The Pats should be happy with a 2nd rounder at this point.

Well at least it seems like a sure thing he is going to be back by week2. I dont know about him starting week1 but maybe playing sparingly wouldnt be 2 bad.

I know the price might be steep and I wasnt a big Lelie fan anyways so wasnt really worried about not getting him... but if Branch is out there we have to make a move for him. Also if Charles Rogers/Mike Williams get cut both of them are talented enough and our WR's suck enough that we need to take a risk on them too.

Idonno if its our O-Line or our RB's but this is starting to get pathetic. Grossman isnt apposed to be passing every single down... If we have no running game again this last preseason match atleast in the 1st quarter when the starters will be there.... im going to have serious doubts. Also our defense hasnt really impressed me really... I want to see more production from our D-Line and instead of chasing the QB actually sacking him... also how come it seems everytime we get a QB on the move running for his life he seems to complete a first down pass.

Yeah this guy is a great WR unlike Lelie.. we should do all we can to try and get this guy on the Bears. If we can work a trade for Branch and than maybe pickup Rogers once he is cut... our WR's can go from a position of weakness to strength. Although Im getting way 2 ahead of myself.

I dont care if Jones is the starter... but I still want to see Benson get more touches than he did last season.

Rashied Davis got open a bunch it seemed but he dropped a lot of passes... I still think Berrian should probably start because him and Grossman seem to work well with one another.

Idonno I know the defense only gave up 3 points and had that TD but I was more dissapointed with them than anything else from that game. There were a lot of missed tackles that led to some big gains than we let the Chargers convert on 3rd and long like three times in a row and we missed a sack on the QB.... With Grossman I wasnt 2 impressed but he looked better than last week and our WR's dropped passes which is pissing me off. They werent perfect but most of the drops I saw were more than catchable.

only the casual fans which unfortunately there are more casual than diehard fans want Griese/Orton starting. Especially in Orton's case.. i can somewhat see where people want Griese because he brings consistency to the position but Grossman can offer so much more than Griese can.

I want to see more production from the O-Line... I thought they played like crap last week.

if we can add a WR like Lelie than I have no problem cutting Curry. But Id much rather ditch a guy like Gage where we atleast know for sure he is nothing special. Id carry Moose, Bradley, Berrian, Davis, and Currie.

Bryant Johnson has been kind of a huge bust nothing but hurt since being here.

I was a little dissapointed in the run blocking... I dont expect us to be great in that department without our top2 RB's but there was just no where for Peterson to run at all.

Jones has one pretty good season and now he is a star? Im sorry to be a star running back you have to get at least 1300 yearly and actually stay healthy...

When you hold out to get more money when your already getting a ton and than take over for a RB that was possibly the only offensive player that deserved the defenses respect from last season there is going to be tension. That being said as soon as Benson starts producing the defense will soften up to him and its still silly to believe our team leaders on defense would intentially hurt a player no matter who it is.

at least we have a good 3rd stringer in Adrian Peterson who as long as its only a couple of games Im fairly confident in him.

I still remember that year he had with the Broncos thinking he was the next best thing... than if I remember correctly Shannon Sharpe returned and Clark kind of dissapeared...

I think he could play RT but he was probably the worse LT in the entire NFL out of starters in what was it 04.
