It's not bad luck, its bad play. Hester made a stupid decision trying to fair catch it while backpeddling at the 5. Peterson got stripped. Grossman made a stupid throw. Then he held onto the ball forever with the pocket collapsing around him.

Agreed. Grossman's accuracy was clearly off that night, but there was no way to know it at that point. On any other night, I think he wouldn't have overthrown him.

Mike seems sort of injury prone. He's missed a ton of time in his career. Hopefully he came come back from this towards the end of the season. The Bears will need his ferocious play in the playoffs.

If I weren't a Bears fan I would definitely have been pulling for AZ in that game.
