Yea, hope you get home soon also. We canceled our trip back in Feb. when things started going south for just that reason. Afraid we would get to Europe and everything would be closed. Turned out much worse.

I need someone to help me understand why all the pundits etc. are making such a big deal about all the tight ends on the roster in April. Should they not bring in perhaps one better then all of them just because they have to many. Maybe they should only bring 60 players to training camp. You don't need 90+. I thought the idea was to have the best 53 when the season starts not in April. And on a side note. Today is the day my wife and I were to leave for our long planned month long trip to Europe. In the world we live in it's not a big price to pay compared to so many. But it was something we had planned for a year.

Ifedi and Spriggs were signed for vet mins. If their old team didn't think they were worth a contract you have to wonder. Perhaps a change of teams will light a fire or coaching will pull out something deep inside. Hope springs eternal with the start of a new season after the draft. Seems hope is our only choice at this time. Funny how everyone see's things differently. I thought for sure OL was one of the Bears weakest links. Much more than TE or any of the middle picks. Pace sees a whole different team. Now I know why I'm sitting on may ass and he makes the big bucks. I think.

The man has some twitch. He might be something. But I'm also impressed with the lefty throwing the ball. He has some great touch and placement. I know that it's "highlites" but those throws are on the money in placement and timing.

Worst position group on team. Got one of the top rated players on almost all draft sights. Gives us hope, which is all the draft does. Half of the picks won't fulfill expectations no matter what round. Maybe we can now only have six. Yea, I would of rather had OL with one of the two picks but Im not pickings. And not hating the picks like I did M.T. just saying.

Hunt has become one of my picks. Don't care where but he is someone I would love to be a Bear.

Oh good night.

OK it's late for me I've had a few cocktails. And I am both stupid and ignorant. How do you get a mock draft out of a link that I thought was just a good site to look at collage players coming into the draft. Their strong points and weak points. Just wondering?

https://www.bigblueview.com/2020/1/19/21072940/2020-nfl-draft-prospects-profiling-the-players-you-need-to-know-about It's a NYG site but I love how they break down the players. Just found very interesting. Another way to waste a few hours in the day.

I'm not sold that either of the two new additions are the answer for the IOL. While both are young and former first round picks they were let go when they could of been signed for not much more than the vet min if I'm correct. In the case of Efedi, he signed for the vet min. From a team that had started him for most of the past three years. To me that is a large red flag. If they have some lineman graded as BPA when they pick at whatever pick they end up with I'm good with that. If that is an OT that they move to guard for a year or two or a center-guard does not matter. They need to start stocking up OL with any pick.

I also am confused. With more and more time to read everything it seems like tons more mock drafts and big boards with opinions that I never had time to read before or there are just that many more. As to the 2nd question I don't know you well enough to say.

I don't think it made any difference had Brady stayed in NE Gronk was done there. He was not coming back. And they got a 4th for someone who was not going to play for them no matter what. Win Win Now how long have they been trying to work this out? For awhile

I was told there was to be no math. Or englesh.

I understand lets draft the best players with are only two 2nds. And if they keep just those picks OK. But I don't understand why you would not draft a tackle or IOL if they are the bpa just because they might not start this year. This is still a team building draft. I don't want a player who is just a low ceiling player with a high floor just so they can start this year. I want the best option no matter when they might play.

So I watched "A Football Live" about Bradshaw. I had forgotten how much bad press he got the first few years for being alot like Mitch. Not football smart, slow to process, bad choices. But also how they both have some of the same traits. Strong arm, able to avoid the rush in the pocket. Even some of the same team traits. God D, hopefully a stronger running game this year. Some good choices to throw to. No not saying the Bears have the hall of fame roster the 70's Steelers had, but we have some above average players. Maybe Mitch does need a longer time to get up to speed and someone that makes him dig a little deeper. I also think he still needs a slump buster. So just trying to be a little hopeful in a very strange year and world we live in. Stranger things have happened. I think.

I know your kidding but hell yea. Lets trade both our 2nds this year and our 1st and 2nd next year for Tua and watch him break like a china doll in the first month of the season.
-
I've never paid any attention to trade values in mock or real drafts. But How much do you all think trade values, weather trading up or down, will be effected by the lack of pro days and or physicals for those who have health concerns. What in a normal year trading my 2nd rd pick would get this. Are those picks going to be valued more or less because of lack of information? Are teams going to use the same value system as in past years?
-
I just don't think any of the first three picks will be available when we draft in the 2nd.
-
I would pick one of the two IOL and one of the two CB. Which ever fits the Bears scheme best.
-
Not a mock draft person. Don't know anything about any of the picks from round two or three on. But a good way to spend a wet rainy Sunday. And see how a bunch of other fans would pick in same draft.
-
The link is at the top. The third post. They have most of the trade info and who was picked between each pick in the comment section. Lot of people unhappy about the return on the trades downs.
-
Sorry 158 and pick was D. Lewis G Two hogs, my kind of draft.

57th they picked L. Shenault WR Now there at 157 and three picks in this round.
